Their knowledge, skill, precision, punctuality and customer service is top notch. From the beginning to the end of the project they have guided us and have done an immaculate job. We had dark cherry woods to work with and wanted to tone down the color but also allow it to flow with our dark staircase and blend into the new. They aided in finding a match that coordinated and flowed without taking away from the home. It's rare to find the tenacity and quality this company exudes. They were wrong. David's sanders have vacuums and we had very little dust. Plus they were proactive and taped plastic on doorways and kitchen cabinets as well. They showed up on the days and times they said they would which is a huge deal these days. They were punctual, clean and organized. They paid attention to a lot of details. The floors had stains from who knows what and who knows when, some water damage, and just seemed way too big for us to handle on our own. It only took them two days to sand and stain, and they matched our other hardwoods perfectly! We were so happy with the work they did! The people who work here truly care and are great at what they do! We recently had a water leak downstairs resulting in replacing the 4 year old LVP flooring with new LVP. They were able to get us on the calendar last week and finish laying the floor. So thankful they could do this done before Thanksgiving. We will be having them come back in January and do our stairs.

I had a very disappointing experience with Footprints Flooring and Kyle Wood. I felt misled…read morethroughout the process. When I questioned concerns about the job, Kyle called his laborer and told him to leave. At that point, most of my floors had only been sanded, and no one communicated whether or when they were coming back. I was left with my house torn apart and no answers. Kyle then stopped communicating with me directly and blocked me from speaking with him, despite already having half of my payment. I was also threatened with a lien on my house if I did not pay the remaining balance, even though the work was incomplete and there were clear issues. The contract stated they would water-pop the floors and protect my home by taping and covering belongings, but none of that was done. Eventually, my husband convinced Kyle to return and finish the job. Kyle told me they would purchase HD Bona Traffic finish, but that never happened, and I had to go back to the store and buy it myself. To make matters worse, the subcontractor left areas under the stove and refrigerator unfinished. Kyle also told me not to speak to the subcontractor directly, leaving me with no way to address concerns or discuss incomplete work. In the end, I was charged for services that were either not completed or not performed as promised. Based on my experience, communication, professionalism, and follow-through were major issues.
