The instructors are great and there is someone for every level, whether you just want to ride for fun or progress up the levels to compete. The indoor arena is huge and the footing is like you are riding on a cushion. The outdoor is just as nice. The pastures are huge for what is to be expected in the area and always have grass. All the horses are well cared for. The lesson horses are awesome! You can learn something different from each one... Merlin being my personal favorite :) I would definitely recommend Brookfield to anyone looking to board their horse or take lessons.

I drive past this farm a couple of times a week. It's absolutely beautiful, and so are the horses that roam the fields here. I've only been on to the facility a couple of times, but everyone was friendly and it was a five-star facility all the way. Their employees are wonderful, their facilities are top notch, their horses are beautiful, and Steven Spielberg himself has several ponies here. Okay I can't back up the Spielberg claim, but that's how magical this place is. I could not recommend it more highly to anyone with horses that need a home.

She immediately made excuses and said "If you don't like it you get go elsewhere" I was shocked and pissed off. Haven't returned. Will not spend money where I am disrespected. PS Place never smelled clean and sometimes my dog smelled like kennel after grooming, which made me have to air out my vehicle. The response she decided to give a paying customer was rather than simply answering my question, she chose to answer my question with a question which is always rude when it comes to CUSTOMER SERVICE or life in general. I would know having worked in that field. It could also make a dog owner cautious if they're being treated rudely over the phone...how are they treating my dog? She said, "I thought I said to call at 2:30?" Now I'm always a polite person so I don't get into spats like this. No time. My mature response was, "I understand" and waited for a more polite answer. All she had to say was he wasn't ready. Duh. No need for an attitude. Then she said to call back at 2:30pm. I just hung up because I knew I would not call I will be right there at 2:30pm wait and make sure my dog is okay. I call early all the time to pick up my dog because most places just leave them in a cage to bark. He's good at grooming because I wash him at home. It doesn't take too long with him. I'd rather pick him up especially if he's done early. He's not a barker unless he has to. So I'd rather not get him into the habit of barking his head off. I got a bad vibe from the place after waiting outside for my ride I saw a Maltese break from her leash, run from her owner downtown the street into the adjacent parking lot and run around the car from her owner in fear of the impending grooming. I almost didn't want to leave my love bug after seeing that. Animals are smart, maybe that lovely little dog had a bad experience. So you can easily understand why I called just to see if he was ready and check in on him. When I showed up at 2:30pm. He was not ready. I was then told to come back 15 minutes later. I did, but was late to work where as the Allentown location is always done early; as is every other dog grooming location that I've ever taken my dog to. Every other employee I encountered was nice, but I had to write a review on this one. I never got her name. They are a lot more courteous at the Allentown location so I recommend that one. I will not be returning to this location. I only accepted this appointment because the Allentown location was completely booked and for good reason.

Megan has many years of agility experience under her belt and it shows! She is very patient with new teams starting out in the sport and is helpful in correcting both ends of the leash. We have also dabbled in Canine Fitness classes with Leah. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the anatomy and physiology of dogs. Knowing that Leah strives for continued education keeps my mind at ease when she works with my pups. Each student has a custom plan tailored to their particular needs, as well as very detailed homework to do after class is over. This is the nonjudgmental environment that my husband and I have been looking for since my first pup was 8 weeks old. I wish we would have found WLTC sooner, but it's better late than never!

I started going back to Fisher and Friends again recently. I…read moreused to take my pack of three there when Fisher the black Labrador used to be there to interview new dogs. It was a woman owned business back than and still is. Some things are still the same and somethings aren't. Fisher has crossed the "rainbow bridge" as they say and so have all three of my pack. The last one just last year. But I have another one who got caught in the covid isolation and lack of socialization and it was time to get her out to live her best life. Back in the day when you wanted to take your dog there you took them for an interview essentially. Fisher would spend time with your dog and they could judge your dogs temperament and see if your dog was going to get along with other dogs or had behavioral issues. They still do that and have even improved on the process by having an on line form that allows you to document all your dogs shots as well as any health issues or any issues they might need to know about your dog. When you schedule the interview, you go over the whole form as well as going over all the house rules. For example maintaining six foot distances from each parent coming or going from the lobby. Keeping your dog outside the door till a dog of a different size who may be in the lobby leaves to prevent any possible large dog small dog issues for example. Then they take your dog to see how their temperament is with other dogs. Just as they did before , they check to see if your dog is social or has some issues that may not make it possible for your dog go there. After that if your dog is accepted, you schedule your dogs days at Fisher. They also have an in house groomer so you can have your dog washed and groomed while it's there. The staff has always had a consistently friendly attitude and knows your dog by name and greets them enthusiastically and encouragingly. Which is very helpful for a shy dog to help them adjust. What I would love to see at Fisher to make them more current would be on line live video feed. It's always such fun to see your dog playing with their favorite dog friends or playing in the pool in the hot summer days.

He had already been taking Carprofen for several months, and at no point was blood work recommended to monitor his liver values. During our visit, Dr. Josh recommended starting prednisone right away. It was only later that I learned there is generally a recommended washout period when switching from an NSAID like Carprofen to a steroid because taking them too close together can increase the risk of serious side effects. I was never informed of this, and I had to discover it on my own. Because I still didn't have a clear understanding of what might be causing my dog's symptoms, I sought a second opinion from another veterinarian. When I requested my dog's medical records, I received the blood work but not the veterinarian's notes. After three days of repeated requests, I was given excuse after excuse and still dont have them. The communication throughout this experience was very disappointing. Phone calls often went unanswered, and no one followed up to check on how my dog was doing after his visit. I was left feeling that my concerns didn't matter. I had hoped this would be a veterinary practice I could trust, but based on my experience, I won't be returning. Thankfully, I've found a new veterinarian where my dog is receiving the care, communication, and attention I was looking for.

The Family Companion actually holds classes at multiple locations across Western New York, and the class I took was at their location on Southwestern Blvd. Their classes are all generally 8 weeks in length and they offer puppy training classes, senior dog training, the family companion class, graduate companion as well as others like therapy and an agility fun course. My dog and I did the family companion class with Kim Sauer. There were a total of 9 dogs in the class so it wasn't overcrowded which was great for my dog, who has some anxiety issues among other dogs/strangers. The instructor was incredibly patient, knowledgable and friendly. If anyone had a question or issues with anything, she took the time to assist and explain things adequately. I can't wait to get into our next class here and would highly recommend this facility to those looking for a good place to train their dog. They're also very reasonably priced which is a definite bonus!

I took him to this class with 6 other dogs and their owners and initially he was shaking and panting and yawning and would not even take a treat or look at me during the first session. Marcia was so patient and encouraging and you could tell she really cared. After the course my dog was completely paying attention to me, not shaking, panting, or yawning. He learned most of the common commands when he didn't know any to begin with. Such a great class for such a reasonable price!
