I was so shocked to see that 1/5 star yelp review for DFI, based on my positive experience with DFI, that I felt compelled to write this feedback on yelp. Joel deserves better than that.

I feel completely misled and scammed by Diamond Flooring. Last fall I reached out to the owner…read moreabout a job, and he directed me to one of his "employees." This individual represented himself as working for Diamond Flooring and even communicated with me under that pretense. I paid him directly via Zelle after being told this was the standard process. The work was completed, but now only months later the flooring is already coming apart. When I contacted the owner, he refused to honor any warranty unless I had an invoice--and then claimed he has no employees at all. He insisted the person who did my job was doing it "on the side," despite clear written proof that the installer represented himself as a Diamond Flooring employee. Instead of taking accountability, the owner was argumentative and rude. Homeowners should be warned: based on my experience, Diamond Flooring does not stand by their work, misrepresents their relationship with workers, and leaves customers high and dry when problems arise. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
