I've lived here for almost 2 years. If you're reading this, DO NOT DO IT! I'll be back highlight my experience and list pros and cons later. Update: Let's start with the pros! 1.) Free live music 7 days a week thanks to the pool crowd. Why pay for a concert when you've got DJ ThongBoy spinning tracks at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday? 2.) FREE Built-in cardio program: Dodging water bugs, sketchy dogs and random half-naked people in the parking lot keeps the body toned and adrenaline high! Wonderful place to live if you are an adrenaline junkie. 3.)Strangers often left notes on my car telling me I was beautiful, which would be sweet if it wasn't...scary....walking to my car often felt like the opening scene of a First 48 episode. 4.) Last but certainly not least-The maintenance team was always very kind and extremely helpful. Shoutout to whoever is over the hiring process for the maintenance department. Great group of individuals. Super sweet lady (not sure of her name) often helping w grounds work, cleaning the pool area and grills in the morning. She deserves a raise and a vacation. Alright- now for the cons: I don't have the time, emotional bandwidth, or enough characters to capture this in one sitting. So here are just a few lowlights: 1.) Mushrooms. Growing. In. My. Bedroom. I actually love mushrooms; however, I didn't ask for an indoor garden -- and yet, here we are. Maintenance came by and snatched them out the wall. 2.) Used condoms in the grass -My poor niece thought someone had a water balloon fight. 3.) Walls thinner than paper. Unfortunately, I know my neighbors' nightly... routines... in HD surround sound. My master bedroom is on the other side of my neighbors master bedroom. 4.)Water bugs everywhere. I've never seen anything like this before. I am very clean and have never experienced any his. First night I woke up with one ON MY FACE. 5.) Unprofessional leasing agents (with the exception of Mark)Everyone else? Unresponsive, careless, and very useful for sending out empty noise complaints and random discombobulated emails. I received a random email one evening accusing me of having someone named Nabreika in my apartment for too long. I was also accused of having this persons mail delivered to my mailbox. I had no clue who the individual was, as I almost never have guests. Shocked and confused, I went to the office to speak about the accusations in the email, they concluded that there was a mix up and apologized. 6.) The pool = frat party hell. Drunk/high people in thongs year-round blasting music like it's Coachella. If you can not afford concert tickets, you're in luck, this is the place for you! I work from home and had to take Zoom calls in my bathroom just to block out the noise. 7.) Dog policy? My 12-year-old poodle (who had an aggressive form cancer bless her heart) was attacked by a large aggressive pit bull on the property. Leasing office said they couldn't "track the dog down owner down......although I provided them with the building number that the individual lived in. *** I'll be back to add pictures of the lovely mushrooms in my bedroom along with the huge hole in my bedroom wall that had to be cut and eventually closed back( my water heater was leaking into my downstairs neighbors bedroom). read more

Is no stars possible? This has been the worst rental experience ever for me. I gave a review about 4 months in, because of upkeep of the property and had some issues with excessive noise that was out of the norm. Almost a year in, nothing has changed. The property looks filthy. I've found a used syringe in front of my building. The tenants drip trash drippings down the steps and it remains until the occasional pressure washing happens. Most recently, despite my cleanliness, I've had mice in my laundry room, I'm guessing there's an entry way since the dryer vent runs outside. The staff in the leasing office are nonchalant about issues you bring to them. When I reported the mice issue, Monique said I would have to wait until the next Friday for pest control and it was Saturday which meant I had to wait a week. She told me to buy mouse traps lol Maintenance offered no help to see if there was an entry way to repair. When I made the second report (now 3 mice in 5 days) the property manager, Allison and Monique giggled with each other about the issue, thinking I had left the building. They are unprofessional and the staff changes frequently. Back to the noise, my noisy neighbors moved and there are new tenants there who do not make all the noise that the previous tenants made which proves it was excessive. There is a man that goes to sit by the pool frequently, yes in winter too, and blasts his speaker with music and since I work from home, my clients can hear the music on my Microsoft Teams calls. The pool is by the leasing office, which means they let this fly. There are fire hazards all over the complex with patios filled high with junk because you can get away with anything here. It's definitely disgusting overall here and the staff is lazy until it's time to front and have an event. They need to spend more time on customer service. It's been difficult to reach corporate but I'll keep trying. read more

I've lived here for about a year now and the BEST part of living here are the maintenance/ground keepers. They are super friendly with the whole community and attentive (they are the ONLY reasons I gave this review 2 stars) However... be cautious about the fact that there is little to no security in place and it continues to become increasingly unsafe to live here. Multiple incidents involving car break-ins and even apartment break-ins. I understand this can happen anywhere, however, there have been no known improvements to prevent these incidents. The most recent incident being 20+ car break-ins last week. Unfortunately, most of my experience with the leasing staff has been unpleasant. They have not very friendly and appear to ignore both major and minor problems. When I moved in, I noticed the paint cover ups don't even match the wall paint and had multiple different damages in the apartment Extremely strict trash policy - there's no way to opt out of trash valet either. You are also not allowed to put up your own security cameras, yet they have not put any in place themselves. I can say with certainty that I will NEVER rent here again. read more

Stuck here for over five years. This place is awful. Noise from traffic beginning at 6 am, noise from airplanes all day and all night long (forget about sleeping in on Saturday or Sunday past 7 am because you will hear airplane noise). I live on the top floor and hear my neighbors underneath me walk, flush their toilet and close cabinet, bedroom and front door every single time due to poor construction. Over the years car break ins have increased and just last weekend over 30 cars had their windows broke. They are not doing anything about it because this costs money. I'm moving in a couple of weeks from now. These apartments are beautiful on the inside. Actually, the apartments like just like the pictures on their website, in fact, the picture doesn't do the inside of the apartment any justice. These apartments are very chic and upscale and reasonably price. The amenities are standard luxury apartment amenities you would get anywhere else, but you can play games with your family in the courtyard. The staff has been friendly and I have been treated with respect from the moment I inquired about my apartment. Everyone from Courtney, Jenna and Madison have been pleasant and friendly. read more

The front office staff was more than accommodating from letting in the internet provider to helping coordinate our furniture delivery for when we arrived. Management doesn't care anymore about tenants concerns or safety. Just making quotas. Many good people leaving and not for good reasons people are TIRED of complaining and not getting things done! Trash pick up you pay for but it's up to the service if they want to do it or not! The even ripped my garbage bags INTENTIONALLY on more occasions than I can count! Pool gate and water fountain by the pool have been busted for a good 9 months! Business center is now down to 1 computer and I brought my own cleaner in to make sure it was sanitary. Only used 1/5 th of each of those jugs they only has a small amount of litter in them I can't believe that this was a place I gave 5 stars to only 1 1/2 years ago to what I would like to give NO STARS! Email comes out not to go in to talk to the girls in the office on the weekend, well then maybe they should have either 2 people or stay open a 1 night a week to address tenant issues face to face. Not everyone has a 10-6 pm job! It takes them 5 days to address issues brought to their attention. People complain cause nothing is resolved read more

I travel for work, leading a sales team each summer. Typically with securing leases for the amount of guys on my team and for the short term duration In which we need those leases it's an extremely difficult task. The office staff here has made that an extremely easy process. They've been extremely welcoming to us all, providing fantastic communication that it takes to make the process of housing the team smooth. Realistically this is typically not the case each summer so it's definitely been a breath of fresh air here! read more

I do not live her but was seeking to move here due to having issues at my current complex. This place is overall beautiful and location is great. Apartment were really nice esepcially the new phasd apartments. Love how they created an extra BBQ area with live size games. However, wish that the ladies at the office were more open to discuss why my application wasn't approved because turned out there was something in my background check that wasnt me which was an easy fix to get it removed. I ended renting somewhere else and that's how I found out what was on my credit background check. But overall, I would had rated it a 4 if it wasnt for that. read more

Legacy Management, Front Office worker and neighbor has addressed my children inappropriately representing your community. When my sons friend was going to check in with his mother, who lives on the second floor. She told them to go back inside their apartment. I instructed my daughter to go get something from our vehicle and your representative also told her to go back inside. It is not her place to tell my children what to do, specially in the manner she did. When I asked her to address any issues with me she was rude and had an attitude that I did not appreciate. I am not fond of pets due to my allergies. Her dog jumped on me while her boyfriend was walking them losely on their leash. When I addressed the incident she responded, "they didn't do anything to you" my children didn't do anything to her yet she instructed them inside our apartment. I have never complained about her dogs barking in the middle of the night during quite time hours when they are being walked nor have I complained of all the dog waste left in the back yard and not to mention the open bags with dog waste left by the stairs which I am attaching a video of (attached in my email). As a representative of Legacy Fort Mill apartments I expected professionalism when an issue occurred (even though she's off the clock). She also told me to get back into my apartment instead of acknowledging that she should have addressed any issues with me, which upset me even more because she has no right to tell me what to do. Had an appointment scheduled on line reached the appointment on time (five-ten minutes early) Upon arrival was told had to reschedule due to the Management having a mandatory meeting until 1pm. Mind you the appointment was set for 12:45pm. Apologies were given but no courtesy to accommodate in that moment. I feel that more could have been done to accommodate my drive to the property.
