This company does not care about you. We joined thier membership, and it has been a terrible experience. We asked to schedule our spring tune up in March, they scheduled us in May. Then they canceled day-of. Then they GHOSTED us THREE TIMES IN A ROW after re-scheduling us-- over and over-- no call, no-show... three times I had to call/text THEM to see why they never showed up. They never followed up or made good by attempting to fix the issue, even when after I reached out and told them about the TWO MONTHS of straight up GHOSTING and our continued desire to have them come out and perform the services they have been CHARGING US FOR the last 6 months. If you like being left in the lurch for MONTHS with terrible customer service and no communication, this is the company for you. They are not locally owned and operated. The prices are outrageous. I had issues with install and it could never talk to someone other than call center person who could not help and said they would pass on info and to expect call back within 24-48hrs ( way to long) only to never receive call back DO NOT USE THEM and share with friends and family. They charged $1700 for an inducer motor. I got charged $98 for service call when I gave them part number model number needed for replacement. Only reason I called them was I was out of country and my 92 year old mother was at house freezing. This part by the way is under $200 cost. Then month later furnace goes out I notice its short cycling usually meaning thermal sensor is gunked (which shouldnt happen during running season) I clean thermal sensor runs great but notice water and rust everywhere. Installer forgot to connect drain tube and exhaust clamp not tightened. Exhaust clamp not tightened could have been very dangerous. STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS THEIR NOT FAMILY OWNED THEIR CORPORATE GREED OWNED. EQUITY FUNDS OWN THEM. read more

We had a free A/C service check, that's turned into a $1000 bill because the tech caused the coils to freeze, then got told that it was caused by a leak but A/C system was working prior to the visit. Great job responding phone calls and sending out techs. Also Great Job washing there hands from the issue. Thanks Legacy for leaving you're problems. The staff at Legacy understood her needs, did not oversell, did not take advantage of her, and actually did some maintenance work for her for free. The worker was super nice but we paid for duct work cleaning that wasn't done properly. He used a small shop vac in our vents and took a small machine downstairs. I took photos of our ductwork a month after it was cleaned because I opened it up to find that it was dirty. Had to have someone come with the truck type vaccum and pay for them to be actually cleaned. I emailed Legacy about this hoping I could get some type of refund but never heard back. I sent these pictures to them as well. I am only speaking for the duct cleaning work. I did not have any other services done. read more

The sales and service team at Legacy heating and air are an asset to the industry. They came out diagnosed our problem and then explained our options. While installing a new furnace they realized that the original duct work that was put in place by the builder was done incorrectly. For no additional charge they moved the furnace, fixed the ductwork problems and then checked the air-conditioner to make sure it was working properly. My husband and I have been living in this new house for 7 months and have made a couple warranty claims before, then recently our furnace starting acting funny and not coming up to temperature. We called the warranty company (who has not sent us very good companies thus far) and they said they didn't have any company in the area that would do the warranty work, but that they would call around and get back to us within a few days. I'm grateful that Legacy took the job. I felt confident in the technition that was sent and he was on time, friendly, and made me feel comfortable. He explained the issues very well and was patient with all if my questions. I bought a maintenance contract from them which is a great deal! The furnace is running well again with just a simple cleaning. What matters to me the most is good customer service, good quality, not taking advantage of a customer and a technition that is warm and explains your problem. We lost our AC on a Friday afternoon and called a Heating and Air company to come out to help us out. Gave us this outrageous quote for replacing our 20 year unit. So we ended up going to my father in laws for some relief and found out his AC went out as well. Told us he contacted the Cook Family and came out right away and gave him a great quote on a new AC unit. So we called them as well. They came out on time promised. Then noticed a few things that needed to be changed to make our AC run properly. Gave us an outstanding quote, plus a year of maintenance, along with 4 free filters for our new AC unit. They came out the very next day 15 earlier than promised and started placing down protection for my floors. I have a one year old puppy who loves attention and them gave him loving. They were done in less than 4 hours and cleaned up. You wouldn't have even known they were in the house. I'm so pleased with Legacy Heating and Air. I would have given them 10 stars. My father in law is so happy as well. The Shaw family is happy and cool again cause of the Cook Family. I would definitely get a few quotes but make sure Legacy is one of them. We had a leak in a pipe in our basement that flooded our furnace. Legacy (Sales Rep, Ben) came out quickly to give us an estimate and go over our options. He gave us an economy option as well as an upgraded. He was sure to not be pushy and gave us plenty of information/pamphlets to go over before making our decision. The two workers that came out to install our new furnace and AC were great as well. They laid down sheets to protect our floors and were helpful explaining what everything was. Due to a bad experience with the plumber at Roto Rooter, we still had the leak. They followed up on making sure their part was finished after the plumbing was fixed. The two men who installed the system were also the ones who helped locate the plumbing problem. Once the system was in, Ben stopped back over to go over warranty information and give us our documents. Overall, we are so far impressed and thankful for their professional service! read more
