The best home inspector I have ever encountered in my last 10 years of being a real estate agent. The entire process was literally too good to be true. The initial inquiry was responded fast, Haitham continued to be always very responsive throughout the scheduling process and very accommodating. On top of that, he can also arrange with his trusted vendors for sewer, termite, and chimney inspections. They all show up at the same time a home inspection is scheduled at (at least try to), they will report back to Haitham so that the buyer gets all the reports from Haitham. What a great system and service he provides! Only a confident, capable, responsible inspector will take that task, and I don't know if any other inspectors would do that - at least I don't believe that is what the majority of inspectors would do. After he finishes his inspection, he explained his findings to the buyers in a way very easy to understand. Speaking with Haitham on the phone I could immediately tell he was someone who listens (as I explained the details of the property to him). I liked that he was courteous and pleasant. He right away emailed us a calendar with the date of our inspection, and instructions (it also listed all his credentials such as Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering--which we appreciated seeing--National Association of Home Inspectors). On the day of inspection he showed up early, was skilled, reasonable and helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions and he didn't hesitate to answer them all. In addition to the big stuff like showing us that the windows had missing items and damage, he pointed out tiny things too (that aren't initially bothersome but could become so over time) like the bathroom fans making an odd sound. After, he submitted to us a detailed report replete with photos and red arrows of what he found functional and non-functional on the property. He was thorough and detail oriented. Absolutely unprofessional. Haitham was the coordinator for multiple inspections for my client in the purchase of a home. That part went okay. HOWEVER, when he agreed to come back to inspect completed repairs by the seller, he was a no show. For the first re-inspection appointment I gave him the benefit of the doubt on his "no-show." The second appointment was confirmed and he didn't show up, he wouldn't answer the phone or texts. He "ghosted" my client and myself. He wasted not just my client's time, but mine. Haitham, preformed a house inspection on a house that my wife and I had just placed an offer on. His inspection was very thorough and as the buyer it was great to get that level of service. During his inspection he let me follow him and ask questions. He was nice enough to explain the problems and even give me a rough estimate of cost so that my realtor and I could come up with a fee for credit. At the end of his inspection he spoke with me and my realtor and gave us a brief list of items that he was concerned with. This is the second home I have purchased and let me tell you, this inspection was very different than the last. My realtor recommended Haitham and he was great. He inspected every part of the house, followed every crack and put together reasonable assumptions of what could be happening to gave me ideas on how best to proceed with the repairs. Additionally, he is full service. All within the same scope of time, he inspected pool, termite and brought in a video sewer inspector which uncovered some MAJOR issues (fought against that but so glad I did it). After looking through all the great reviews, I called a few inspection companies and Haitham answered right away. He was pleasant, informative, and willing to work with our time sensitive schedule. At the inspection, he made sure to inspect everything and took the time to explain his findings so that we would understand the true condition of the house, as well as the priorities in getting repairs. When the dishwasher started leaking a lot water onto the counter, he even went out to get a t-shirt from his car to wipe it up because the house was empty and we had no way of cleaning it up! I appreciated the care he took with my maybe-future home. Afterwards, Haitham sent the report quickly via email ahead of his projected time frame and made sure to notify me that it was available. Because of something he noticed with the piping underneath the house, he recommended getting a plumber to come in to do a more detailed inspection with a camera in the pipes, which we did. I'm so glad he made that suggestion because the plumber found that the sewage pipe was severely in need of repairs and we would not have known otherwise! We were able to add this to the repair list for the seller and avoid a money pit in the process. I would highly recommend the Legacy Property Inspection company.
