Randy is very professional and not greedy. My house has some footing issues, and after I called him, I got the sense that some people might have simply taken my money, told me "Yes, there's a problem," and I'd still have to find a contractor to actually fix it. But Randy didn't do that. Instead, he advised me to go straight to a contractor to address the issue, and mentioned that the inspection fee could be rolled into the repair cost. My husband and I were frantically calling around for a reputable home inspector who would be able to come out to inspect our prospective condo property within our 7 day inspection contingency during the July 4th holiday weekend. Randy was fully booked 9 days out but graciously squeezed us in on a personal day he was planning to take. He quoted us on the phone based on the property type and square footage. Randy was communicative about the home inspection services he would provide and arrived on time (actually, a few minutes early). Before buying the property, we wanted an inspection by someone who was detail-oriented and thorough so we knew what we were getting ourselves into. Randy exceeded our expectations by miles. Randy is an expert in his field and he knows it. He worked efficiently and no detail was too small for him to document. He spent over 5 hours (other might have just rush to get it done quickly) at the property which was renovated and look completely brand new and found a lot of defects on the build and renovations which will help provide me details to get the seller to fix those build to be up to the safety standard. I reached out to Randy to get an independent inspection of my crawlspace to understand if there was excess moisture and/or cracking in our home's foundation.
