It took…read moreme over 4 years to post this because it still affects our family to this day, despite trying to put it past us everyday day. The following was sent to a manager(?) of Windermere who over saw Susan Stier's shortly after we moved in a little under two years ago. We were actually very displeased with our agent. Never once did we feel like our agent was our advocate, instead, we felt as though she was the sellers advocate. Continually she would say that she sent apologies to the sellers for the loan delay that was COMPLETELY out of our control. Not once did she try to contact our bank her self to urge them to work faster. Yet our loan officer was always there advocating for us. She also never needed to request or obtain anything that had sensitive information to speak with our loan officer or bank to hurry them along, so there was no reason why she didn't contact our bank. Furthermore, the seller's agent demonstrated true customer service by covering a delayed moving expense on behalf of the sellers so that it would not stress the sellers out. Yet for reasons unknown to us, Susan was never empathic to OUR situation. Our things were moved out of our apartment two weeks before the house is ready, the movers didn't come on time, so we were living in a chaotic mess, when they finally DID come only two showed up, so they worked until 2 in the morning. My baby had to sleep on my chest out on the balcony because we couldn't set up his pack and play. On top of all that stress, Susan kept harassing us to hurry the loan process. However, even though we told her, we were on the phone with the bank every other day she KEPT insisting on sending harassing emails to us about how upset the sellers are. After we moved in not once did Susan check in on us, however, our loan agent DID, several times and even sent a housewarming present. It's customer service like what Bank of American did for us (even though they had a 1-day delay for our loan) that will make us go back to them. However, it's service like Susans that made my husband, and I swear off Windermere and telling our friends never to use Susan. Fast forward to 2022, we're still suffering from the negligence that our realtor should have protected us from. At least that's what I thought they were supposed to do. Especially because we were living in another state and FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS. Definitely don't recommend Susan Stier, but now that we've been through the absolute worse we know what amazing agents and brokers look like.
