One of the best parts is how thoughtfully they can make the flights allergy accommodating, so everyone gets to enjoy the experience without missing out. Served on a beautiful wooden board, each pour lets you slow down and savor something different, from silky smooth lattes to rich espresso-forward sips topped with the perfect foam. It's cozy, elevated, and perfect for catch-up dates, work breaks, or a quiet downtown reset. The ability to sample multiple flavors, discover a seasonal favorite, and have it customized to your needs makes this one of the most fun coffee experiences in Winston-Salem.

The staff was 11/10 even when we had a cleanliness issue in our room, staff got on it right away and corrected it. Fully pet friendly which was nice for my service animal (even though it doesn't matter) but he still likes to see other dogs. Free social wine gathering every night I believe for an hour. The basement rec room was also great. Overall was a great stay and great hospitality.

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown inside the original RJR building. The front desk staff are all professional, friendly and kind, each encounter with desk staff was exceptional. Valet parking is the only real option, unless you want to drive around looking for a limited parking spot. All of the valet team are professional, courteous and timely each went above and beyond for us. Very comfortable accommodations. We stayed in a king room the first time for a weekend and a king suite for the weeks stay. Both are comfortable, the suite's size and separate seating area definitely make it worth the difference if your stay is extended. King bed, very comfortable, quality linens, very quiet soundproofing with high ceilings and heavy drapery with modern minimalist wall decor. The bathrooms in both are nice the suite, another level of comfort. Walk in large shower with a vessel tub within the shower enclosure. This hotel is one of the higher end in town, it trys to hit those marks. Better than most. 4 Stars rounded up a full star for the steller staff here from the front desk, to valet team, housekeeping and room service everyone makes your stay here better. 01150

Cuddle Creek Farm - Ceremony spot (arch available as an alternative)

Perfect semi-blank canvas venue for a rustic/barn wedding (or any other event). I recently got…read moremarried at Cuddle Creek and was thrilled with how it turned out. Some of the highlights include: a covered outdoor reception space, a caterers kitchen with a large fridge, multiple ceremony spot options (in front of cabin, in front of arch, in barn rafters), fire pit, speakers, and ample parking. The venue has tables, chairs, and some very basic decor items (ie. Wood slabs, metal pitchers), which is helpful. They were willing to allow us to utilize whichever vendors we wanted and had close to no restrictions on our event. The ones they did have were quite reasonable (ie- event insurance, insured bartender, following local noise ordinances). Beverly, the venue owner, provided us with a folder of FAQ when we booked, including things like linens sizes and how to get insurance. We were lucky enough to get access to the space the day before because there were no other events, and were able to do preliminary setup. The majority of the space is open-air, but covered. They provided heaters, did ceremony chair setup, and Beverly was on site and helped a little behind the scenes, which was above and beyond. For a small fee, Beverly and her husband also got the fire pit going and provided wood. I buried the lead here, but there is a cabin on site that the bridal party can use to get ready. We were able to spend our wedding night in the cabin, which was super convenient. Overall, this venue was perfect for our needs. It was one of the most affordable options we considered and our wedding was simply gorgeous. Whether you're DIYing it or using a coordinator, I definitely recommend checking this place out. Check their Facebook for photos from many of the events they've hosted.

This was a special event, and the dinner menu is not quite yet solidified, but I want to a) talk about the delicious food, b) the beauty of the inn, and c) the hospitable and friendly staff at the Inn/Restaurant. The Inn itself is beautiful and historic. It's located in the heart of downtown Winston, but has its own parking lot which is a huge plus. Our dinner was in a reserved room on a Friday evening. It was a great room for our group of about 11-12. Our waiter, Gary, was THE BEST! He had a radiant personality, and was super attentive! The chefs (Kelly and Juan) came out to talk to us and were a pleasure. The food! I can't wait for this to be a constant menu at the restaurant! We had Fried Green Tomatoes, Mandarin and Goat Cheese Walnut Salad, Braised Short Rib over polenta dish, and Crème Brûlée cheesecake. YUM! And the drinks were very unique and delicious. I am so looking forward to another trip back to Founder's! I absolutely can't wait to try brunch!
