Such a cute little ice cream shop. I stopped by on the way home the other day. My grandson wanted a milkshake. He ordered a Chocolate Milkshake and I ordered a Chocolate Malt for my husband. Both of them said it was great! The service was quick and friendly. We'll be back. read more

The best dairy bar I've been to! Fun atmosphere, genuinely fantastic and friendly staff, quick service even when they are busy. The pineapple Dole soft serve is the most mouthwatering, refreshing summer treat. My husband and I moved away from Bethel, but we will still travel 40 minutes to go enjoy this place, especially when they have really good food trucks. Get there, and keep an eye out for big foot, I hear he is loose. read more

This is a cool version of one of those Dairy "Whips" as you find around greater Cincy... complete with plenty of nostalgia. I love the name, and the decor, and it doesnt end there! I had to come out this way to pickup something so I decided to try this out! They were also hosting a food truck I love on this day. There is walk up ordering or a convenient drive thru. A very large patio area offers plenty of seating. Ample parking is located on either side. As community enrichment they have a "need a book, take a book, donate a book" library. Daily flavors are offered and there is a sign board with them right out front. I opted to try the Dairy free pineapple, as it was very hot out and it sounded refreshing. I love this place, it's full of nostalgia for me, since it's a staple of my home town of Bethel. It's gone through a few owners in my adult life, but the current owners are by far my favorite! Not only do they produce a quality product at a reasonable price, they also give back and support Bethel and host food trucks as well. I had the orange pineapple Dole whip and it was every bit the citrus punch I dreamed of! They have several dairy free options as well as the Cry Baby Blue (just like the smurf ice cream from King's Island!). I've been several times and am never disappointed. This place was such a good find! We recently moved to the Amelia area and were looking for a new local creamy whip to go to. The sundae's are delicious and huge! My personal favorite is The Elvis (chocolate, banana, peanut butter) and you can't go wrong with the blue soft serve. Staff has always be pleasant and helpful! Went through the drive thru with 3 others. We ordered a vanilla cone (good), the hangover (amazing), the Jersey Shore (amazing), and lastly I got the trifecta which wasn't so great. It tasted like straight up coffee and I couldn't taste anything other than coffee. I love coffee but I wasn't expecting literal ice chips in it. This item would be better if it was blended with a focus on being able to taste your choosing of soft serve & not so much coffee...if that was the case I would just go to Starbucks. Overall everything else was unique of its kind and very good and I do recommend, but not the trifecta unless you just want coffee. read more

The flavors were great. I really appreciated the dairy free option. The prices are amazingly cheap for such large servings. The pineapple dairy free was different and impressive. Let me say this: I travel 1 hour to get this ice cream. I could easily drive a few blocks from my house and have the choice of 5 or so different ice cream joints. I'll continue driving an hour to get Legen-Dairy Whip. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I've tried something different on every visit and I'm impressed each time. Great service big ice cream, who doesn't love big things. Polite staffing and fun environment overall.

First time and last time customer. Owner was rude when I walked over 10 min before 2 and informed me they do not open till 2. I did not know they were not open, there were cars there and a person at the order window. one driveway was blocked so we pulled in carwash and I walked over. My husband drove the jeep over and pulled in the other drive that was not blocked off. It looked like they were setting up a food truck in the other entrance so we figured thats why it was blocked off. I waited up by the window for them to open. Owner walks over to my husband and asks if he needed help, he pointed to me said he was waiting for me. She says you can park at church or in front of store but he can't pull in facing the wrong way. He was closing the top down on the jeep at the time so he can turn the ac on so our ice cream did not melt and then was going to pull out of drive. Owner walks back to me and says they won't open or take our order untill he moves the jeep. I told her he was working on it. You could clearly see he was trying to close the top. He gets turned around and pulls out of the drive and goes and parks in the car wash. The owner comes up and tells staff they can now open car is moved. so they take my order. i hear the owner talking to other people refering to us as idiots while I am standing there. We will not go back. And I lost my ice cream walking to the jeep as its so hot it melted right off. There was a much better and kinder way to handle the situation. She never even stoped to think we had never been there and didnt know they did not open till 2 pm. She could have been a lot nicer. I feel sorry for the staff if she treats them like she treats her customers. The food truck was a veteran owned truck, well my husband is a Desert Storm Veteran as well. Really upset to be treated so badly and insulted. I gave 2 stars because the staff was very nice. 6.28- In response to the owners response. We did notnknow you did not open till 2. For someone who had never been there we had no idea why only one half of the drive was roped off. with the food trucknthere, it was our thought you did not want cars driving through there. The jeep did not create any safety issues he was parked out of the way and there was not anyone else even around. There were no kids either that you were so worried about getting hit. A better way to handle would be to simply ask us if we had ever been there before and then nicely explain where we should park andnlet us know your hours and just serve us and we would have known better the next time. Now there will be no next time as we were completly insulted and will not give our business to someone who has such little regard for their customers. read more

Great Ice cream and I love supporting small businesses but the wait times are always outrageous. It took 35 minutes to get two shakes and two soft serve. The two soft serve were made immediately so they melted while I waited. They gave me the wrong size on one shake and forgot the other. Once I finally got them, they took the melting soft serve and gave me new ones. Not a single apology for taking so long and forgetting/messing up my entire order. read more
