Manuel and his crew did a new pebble finish and tile cleaning for us. I would rate the result a 5 - it looks great. His crew failed to return things in the area to their original state. Furniture left on the lawn and three expanding garden hoses messed up. Attachments not replaced in any event. Ruined rear hose splitter which did not need to be removed. They pressure washed some of their residue off our driveway but pressure washer ran under garage door leaving residue on floor and on car inside. Would hire them again I think but would be very vigilant when they are wrapping up the job. read more

6 month update -- we went with the mini white pebble and the pebble is holding up; pool floor is not too rough on feet. The tile (1x1 opal white) grout can be hard to clean, though tile still shimmers; and since the grout is porous, it does stain very easily. To our surprise, we did not realize that there were beautiful sparkly flakes in the pebble/plaster mix that shine nicely in the sunlight (big perk). LED lighting that the crew set up is holding up, though the light we went with did get some water intrusion, though not detrimental. My only recommendation for anyone considering new tile - go with the bigger tiles (easier to clean)! And use some sort of grout sealant prior to filling the pool so you do not have an issue with algae/stains. read more

First for perspective. I have owned multiple properties over the past 20+ years. I currently own 7 high end houses. So, for context, I have dealt with many many home service professionals from electrical, plumbing, construction, painting, pest control, roofing tiling, landscaping,...And over the years I have found stellar partners that I have continued to use for years, and I've found terrible service people. This company falls into stellar partner. For me stellar partner means someone that does quality work, is trustworthy, has reasonable prices and not "what they think they can get away with", and feels like a partner. I think I speak from a lot of experience when I say my experience has been amazing with Legendary/Manual. First, Legendary was highly responsive to my call for a quote to resurface two pools at different properties. Both pools required different things that needed to be done. I had two other highly reputable firms bid as well. Legendary's bid was much more reasonable on both pools than the other two firms. Second, I was told pool companies take forever to get you onto their schedules and that they start your pool demo and basically never come back. Legendary started my pool within a few days of me accepting their bid (which came to me within a few days of my initial call) and finished it within a week. Seriously. I think the entire process between me calling them for a bid to finishing the pool was two weeks or less. And I had my friend who's a top end contractor and is highly cynical and intelligent, and has himself installed pools, look at all the bids and speak to Manual about his bid. My friend also researched Legendary online and gave me the thumbs up to use them. Third, there were a few things that came up on one of my pools that Legendary could have easily taken advantage of and overcharged me (good old change orders) but they did not. This is solid proof of integrity. There's a few more things that occurred where I troubled Manual and made him do a little more work and back and forth than needed and he was always kind and patient. We purchased our new home about 2 months ago. Part of the agreement was that the seller would pay to get our pool re-plastered. Manuel and his crew were selected to perform the services for us. after a few conversations, I selected a different plaster color and agreed to pay the price difference out of pocket. $2,500 later, pool plaster still looks white when we paid for Caribbean blue green. There's no difference. In addition to that, there was an LED light that was installed, but never worked. I spoke with many numerous times about it, with him assuming me that he would have a guy check the box because a fuse must've blown. I spoke with Manny to get information on how to send payment and he assured me he would have a guy come out to repair or replace my fuse for the light IN Addition to repairing the light itself....oh yeah I forgot to mention that the entire LED light fell out the wall, which looks like a scary electrical hazard within itself. (See video and pics). Needless to say, once I sent payment, he stopped answering my calls. Either he pushes me to voicemail or ignores me and lets the voicemail pick up. I have even sent him emails with no reply . As of today, 13 times with no luck! I am very disappointed and highly upset as I have paid my hard earned money for product and services from this company, only to be ignored, and my time wasted by waiting for an appt that wasn't even kept. read more

They were able to repair our leaking rock waterfall with ease, and Manuel was able to come out himself (knowing his staff was super busy) and patch up the rocks. A leak detection company located the source of the leak to be the skimmer in my pool. I reached out to several companies to get a cost estimate. Legendary was first to respond with a competitive price. I received a couple of other responses with similar prices. I decided to go with Legendary. I asked specific questions regarding their process and materials used. I got the response I was looking for. I was loosing about 1.5" of water a day, so I was motivated to get this done soon. They said they could get it done within 48 hours. I accepted but I was concerned about the rain. They assured me it would not be an issue. I reluctantly agreed. Crew was to arrive at 8am. I own my own business, so I needed to take the day off. After 9am I reached out and asked if they decided not to show because of the rain. No reply. I went on Yelp to see if I could get a better number to communicate other than text. I found another number and called. They were surprised to understand the crew wasn't there. They said they would call right back which they did. Reason was they were delayed at the skimmer supplier. Ok. The crew arrived 90 minutes later. Said traffic was bad. I asked if gluing pvc in the rain with ground water around the pipe was a good idea. They said no problem. It took a very long time to lower the pool water level and the ground water as well. Like 5 hours. It was raining and windy, and I offered to have them come back under better weather conditions. Nope. Around 5 pm they got the new skimmer installed and were finishing the concrete on the deck top. They didn't have the concrete tools needed so I loaned them mine. I asked if they were going to pressure test their work and the said no. The owner said they would. Ok. I realize the weather conditions were horrible and I felt bad for the guys doing the work. I loaned a pair of gloves to them as one of them didn't have any and was very cold and wet. The crew finished around 5:30pm and the fast dry cement was setting up fast. The crew cleaned up the work site and were very nice. The skimmer is not level and protrudes out of the deck with a noticeable hump that is considered to be a trip hazard now. The leak seams to be resolved, but the result is going to require me to do more work on my deck than I would have expected. All this to say, when your gut tells you to do what you know is right ( have them come back when it's not raining and windy) listen to your gut. read more

Just had our pool re-plastered a month ago, Manuel and his crew did a fantastic, and beautiful job for us. Drains and fittings replaced also had Manuel re-grout the flagstone around our pool. Price was very fair and reasonable. The crew always kept the area outside and inside the pool clean which was one of my requirements. Upon completion, Manuel emails or text instructions on allowing the pool to cure and recommended a pool technician to help restart the chemical process. After one month, I had one small issue with the pool which was no fault of Manuel or his crew but he still came out to help me resolve the issue. I can honestly say very few companies will go out of their way to help the customer especially after they have been paid in full. We had a pool guy who was not doing his job of brushing our spa. He wasn't even putting chemicals in the pool. It was very frustrating and he seemed to have no knowledge on how to fix anything, even simple fixes. If something was broken, he wouldn't even let us know.
