I really appreciated the fact that this is a family owned business. Manny was great to work with and truly the interaction I had with him is what made me choose his estimate (I got 4). Price was competitive, but the customer service and their timeline to start the work made them the top choice. I also appreciated their response to a small issue I had, they came back the next day and immediately resolved it. Would highly recommend this company.

We needed our pool re-plaster. We got about 5 quotes and Legendary Pools & Spas gave us the best quote. Manuel came over helped with the best option and the job was done in 2 days. They did a great job clean up after themselves and Manuel has helped us out with the start up since we are new pool Owners, any questions he's there to answer and guide us. Highly recommend.

6 month update -- we went with the mini white pebble and the pebble is holding up; pool floor is not too rough on feet. The tile (1x1 opal white) grout can be hard to clean, though tile still shimmers; and since the grout is porous, it does stain very easily. To our surprise, we did not realize that there were beautiful sparkly flakes in the pebble/plaster mix that shine nicely in the sunlight (big perk). LED lighting that the crew set up is holding up, though the light we went with did get some water intrusion, though not detrimental. My only recommendation for anyone considering new tile - go with the bigger tiles (easier to clean)! And use some sort of grout sealant prior to filling the pool so you do not have an issue with algae/stains.

After picture-tiles were cleaned and plaster replaced with light grey.

They gave us by far the best quote, showed up on time, had great communication, did quality work and fast, guarantee their work, and unexpectedly came back to clean our pool deck. What else is there? Our 1975 pool looks brand new again.

We purchased our new home about 2 months ago. Part of the agreement was that the seller would pay to get our pool re-plastered. Manuel and his crew were selected to perform the services for us. after a few conversations, I selected a different plaster color and agreed to pay the price difference out of pocket. $2,500 later, pool plaster still looks white when we paid for Caribbean blue green. There's no difference. In addition to that, there was an LED light that was installed, but never worked. I spoke with many numerous times about it, with him assuming me that he would have a guy check the box because a fuse must've blown. I spoke with Manny to get information on how to send payment and he assured me he would have a guy come out to repair or replace my fuse for the light IN Addition to repairing the light itself....oh yeah I forgot to mention that the entire LED light fell out the wall, which looks like a scary electrical hazard within itself. (See video and pics). Needless to say, once I sent payment, he stopped answering my calls. Either he pushes me to voicemail or ignores me and lets the voicemail pick up. I have even sent him emails with no reply . As of today, 13 times with no luck! I am very disappointed and highly upset as I have paid my hard earned money for product and services from this company, only to be ignored, and my time wasted by waiting for an appt that wasn't even kept.

    After

Our family needed our pool redone by summer time. We reached out to Manny for an appraisal and he responded very quickly and was able to come out to give us an estimate shortly after. The pricing was very competitive with the other companies we reached out to and we were very happy it was within our budget. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole process and delivered on his promise of completing the job by a certain date we had requested. We were very happy to support a family business and I would recommend Legendary Pools and Spas to my family and friends.

Leslie's Pool Supplies - Free Pool Water Test Station

    Leslie's Pool Supplies

I usually order online through a discount pool supply company. However, this is the place to go when you are in need of pool supplies & don't have the time to wait for an online order. **Take a sample of your pool water in for them to test & tell you if your pool is at the correct levels. It's helps a bunch!

Leslie's is a great company. Their Elk Grove store gives stellar advice. Stockton has been good as…read morewell. However... Leslie's has a serious problem in Lodi. The manager (I think?) that has helped me the 3 times just isn't knowledgeable about very basic pool chemistry. For example: I had my water tested today after an algae bloom and she was hung-up on the fact that my chlorine was 16 ppm. She kept going back to "it really needs to be 1-4 ppm" (because that's what written on her water test sheet) despite my telling her several times that the pool was mid-shock and that explained the high chlorine count. I expect a pool clerk (let alone a manager) to know that "shocking" is just high-dose chlorine. She even offered to sell me Leslie's Pool Shock (like all Leslie's chemicals according to her, "it's twice as effective as anyone else's") and identified it as "hypochlorite" but apparently didn't realize that's the same as the regular chlorine they sell (also "twice as strong as anyone else", despite being just standard 12% hypochlorite.) She also completely failed to connect the high phosphates in my water to the persistent algae bloom. She knew it was high but had no idea WHY that mattered or what it might have to do with algae. (I knew it was a problem because Leslie's Stockton told me to get a phosphate test yesterday.) A similar problem when I went in to buy a pool vacuum several months ago: lots of pressure (some clearly dishonest) to buy Leslie's brand products and steer me away from what I indicated I was actually interested in. Good salespeople listen more than they talk; she does the opposite. And she's convinced (despite her clear lack of actual knowledge) that she's right. I can buy chemicals at Walmart cheaper. I go to Leslie's for the advice. And the Lodi store gives lousy advice. This is only 2 stars only because she did test the water, but after that, pretty much useless. Support Leslie's. Go to Elk Grove. Go to Stockton. Stay away from Lodi. EDIT 8/21: Review went up to 3 stars because Leslie's regional mgr just called me and we talked for 15 minutes. That's customer service. This is a good company with a problem at a single store. I'll check the Lodi store again in several months and hopefully it's improved. (And Stockton has already helped my algae bloom.)

They were always quick to respond to our questions, kept us informed throughout the project, and provided exceptional customer service every step of the way. Marie was also great about keeping us updated on dates and times, which made the entire process even easier. Every contractor and crew member who worked on our pool was professional, friendly, and did excellent work. It was clear that everyone took pride in what they do, and the quality of the finished product reflects that. Our pool turned out even better than we imagined, and we are so grateful to the entire Premier Pools team for making our backyard dream a reality.
