They won't accept phone calls. They force you to order thru a 3rd party app. If Leggio's doesn't confirm your order within 10 minutes, WHICH THEY DON'T, the 3rd party app cancels your order. Worst waitress ever. Olivia, you need to engage with customers not just put stuff down and walk away. Not saying make small talk but Christ before we could answer your short and snippy question you weren't waiting for an answer and turned around. You had no other tables, the restaurant was virtually empty. So you can say she was busy. Large portion was the only thing making review above a 1. Think about running a bissel/sweeper when the floors have scraps all over the place. Just not a good experience. With all the Italian places in that area, I am sure we won't be back. Very generous portions and great prices are at Leggios. Have been here a few times over the years. The inside is nice and inviting. The pizza has a sweet sauce and great cheese, then cooked quite nicely. Overall good quality food and good prices. Worth stopping in to avoid the other overpriced places in the area. read more

This restaurant has the best pizza hands down in the entire valley. I'm always amazed at the generous portion sizes for the very low price. This is by far one my husband and my's favorite restaurants. They are always so nice and friendly and make sure we're taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone. Also- I have tried a million "cauliflower pizzas" as sometimes I try to be healthy. Their cauliflower pizza is by far the absolute best. Wow. Never been to Leggios and have to say it far far far surpassed my expectations. The Stromboli was the best I have had. The Marinara dipping sauce was definitely homemade. The crust was also homemade. Then the service. 12 on 1 to 10 scale. Wish I I remembered my waitresses name. She was friendly and cheerful and prompt. All characteristics that are difficult to find these days. The event I attended after dinner in a side room also had food. Needless to say, all that food was also exceptional. Spinach salad was very fresh and large portion! Hawaiian pizza was really good! Nice crust and not soggy! I've been here a few times while visiting my sister at Misericoria and it was always the place to go after a soccer game. We recently visited for a late lunch following a long hike knowing that we were 1) starving and 2) we would have leftovers for that night's dinner. I hadn't been here in a while and immediately noticed that it was so much nicer than I had remembered it to be, I believe they recently re-did the interior and it shows. The garlic knots are no joke and they keep them coming if you finish your bowl, which we obviously did. We were replenishing our carbs from the hike.. I ordered the chicken parmesan over spaghetti and it was HUGE. They pounded out a whole chicken breast and fried it in seasoned breadcrumbs so it was so crunching and good. The sauce was a sweet red sauce which is not really my preference but it went so well with the salty chicken cutlet. We each ate about half of our meals, packing the rest for dinner and we were still full. This is a restaurant that is good for a group and has something on the menu for everyone, as long as you like Italian food :) read more

We stop in anytime we are passing through Dallas. Friendly service, great food and large portions. I highly recommend the Dr. M's Tequila Cream Sauce dish and Chicken Parm. Salads are better than average, and they do keep the garlic knots coming. I must say I was not impressed the first visit (thought it was just average), but every visit since has been excellent. We had shrimp and salmon pasta and rigatoni and meatballs. Sat quickly server was attentive. Food was good. One negative comment ... I produced an online coupon for a free glass of wine with meal. Usually have a good meal but not this time! Girlfriend ordered a Cobb salad but received something totally different. Olivia (waitress) came back with a new that was wrong also. Apparently Olivia has no clue what a Cobb salad entails! I ordered an Italian Stromboli with mushrooms and onions (no peppers) and received it with nothing besides the meat/cheese. I have been to the Leggio's across from the Woodlands and the food and service were great. Came in from Myrtle Beach and was going out to the Dallas Legion so decided to stop at the Dallas Leggios which is right across the street. I have to tell you the other 4 people and ourselves were totally disappointed in the service and the food. The waiter seemed like he couldn't be bothered with waiting on our table. Never came back to see if everything was alright. Took for ever to get the check so we could leave. The food was barely eatable. It is a shame when one restaurant with the same name is really good and then the other is so lack luster it brings the other restaurant down because you think they will both be terrible. Leggio's has always been one of our favorite restaurants. However, today we stopped by for lunch, and after waiting for nearly 20 minutes after being seated, no server ever came to take our order or even say they were on their way over. There were only 4 tables with customers at this time, one of which was us, so they were not busy. There were 2 waitresses and a hostess, and not one of them could come over to take our order. On our wait out, we told the hostess about no one waiting on us, and she did not even apologize. Considering we are still in the pandemic social distancing, you would think they would have been thrilled to have the business and would have given us better service. read more

My go to is the chicken Oscar, some days it is loaded with grab meat other days it is very lacking. Have eaten here several times with every time being a disappointment and will not go back. The lasagna was all sauce with hardly any pasta or meat. Eggplant was so bad we sent it back and did not reorder. The chicken cobb salad was a generous size but the chicken was tough, dry, and a lot of grizzle. I recently attended a rehearsal dinner here. Food was average to below average. We started out with some boring iceberg lettuce salads. The rest of the meal was served buffet style. Pasta was average, Alfredo sauce was pasty and didn't taste house made. Veggies appeared to be of the frozen and bagged variety. Mashed potatoes were clearly from a box. Absolutely zero flavor...the clams are from a can, which makes the broth about as flavorful as pasta water. The pasta wasn't salted and sadly was just a big disappointment. I will never return and will advise my friends to never eat there. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, they were "fair"..not the best by any means. You had to search for the chicken and for the orzo in the chicken orzo soup. It should be called water and carrot soup! Not tastey at all. I asked for a takeout container and was given one that the sides did not close and the sauce spilled all over my sweater and pants as I was attempting to place it in the plastic bag. I had to sit in that mess until the supervisor finally made up her mind to come see what happened. Her attitude sucked. She didn't even say "sorry" or offer to compensate for the mess in any way. I told this to the waitress (who was very nice) and she said I should have said something to the supervisor. It is my thinking that the supervisor should have been the one to mention compensation and at least apologies, not the customer. She finally gave me and my sister a free desert..and told me how to wash my outfit so I would be able to get the sauce out! I suggested she pay for the cleaning....and she said o.k...if I bring my outfit to her right away. I live a good half hour away and did not feel like going home and them back again...1 hour of my time and gas. Not to mention that it was late and I didn't feel like going back that same night. So I will attempt to wash it out myself. Not a very customer friendly place to dine. The one in Plains is a bit better. Never had a problem there! read more

I'm a huge fan of Leggio's! Their prices are reasonable, and they have a big menu with lots of delicious entrees, appetizers and cocktails. I've never eaten anything there that I haven't really enjoyed. I love even the salads and dressings they have to choose from. We've never had a long wait for a table or for food, no matter the size of our family party. I would always pick this place over any chain restaurant in the area, and I feel the same love for the Wilkes Barre location. The breakfast menu is a bit thin but it covers most staples. The homefries were a bit bland but were crunchy. Kids menu is decent. Average prices for all items.
