Overall, the food was good and I would have given this a 4-star review if it weren't for the poor customer service and limited hours. We walked into the restaurant at 8:12pm. The restaurant's hours are listed online as closing at 9:00pm. Immediately after walking in, we were told because of the time we walked in, the only thing on the menu available to order was pizza. Secondly during the middle of our meal, one of the waitresses, walked in from the bar screaming at the top of her lungs. There'd seemed to have been a misunderstanding or argument with another employee or customer. Ambiance was... vintage. Your typical established Scranton area pizza place. Nothing special inside like Pizza Perfect's train.

We got a half tray of white, and while white pizza is not my favorite, I actually really enjoyed this. There is subtle flavoring with herbs on top that complemented the creamy nature. It worked as a nice palate cleanser between wing trials.

The crust is fantastic...NEVER EVER change how you make your dough/crust. Love the side I added of sauce. I am full but want to come back tomorrow for 3-4 more slices!!! The interior is low key and an easy going atmosphere. Nothing stands out, but that's not why you came here. Dave Portnoy needs to swing by. One bite no flop, great under carriage, the sauce isn't overkill and the cheese is perfect. They are tucked in a strip mall next to some obnoxious chicken place. This is the real deal and what pizzeria legends are made of. Do they have other things....probably and it's probably awesome tasting like the pizza. But who cares if it's pizza you are after, this is your only choice to make! If you don't believe me, prove me wrong and drop a few bucks on a slice. I guarantee after your first bite. You're gonna be ordering one or two large pies to take home. If you're from out of town and you want pizza and you don't wanna have to think about it, this is the place that you go to. There's pizza place all over the place and there's no way that they taste as good as this PERIOD. I ate my slices with my eyes closed for 80% of the time to eliminate distractions and absorb the flavors and crunch. I will not spend the next 24hrs before I go home dreaming about how I can get a few slices before getting in my plane tomorrow.....and still make the flight. Great customer service, they are so polite and friendly. Why come to Scranton....maybe the Train Museum.....I say NO, for the Pizza BRICK OVEN PIZZERIA RESTAURANT

I've never eaten at Tony Luke's, but of course I've heard of them. I decided to go with the original cheesesteak, with cheez whiz, grilled onions, and broccoli rabe, for which there was a small upcharge. I really liked the sandwich. The meat was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The broccoli rabe was tender, but not mushy, and the onions were perfect. The bread was very good, and held up to the sandwich very well. I normally don't even like cheez, whiz, but I ordered it because that's what's in a traditional cheesesteak. I liked it. It played very well with the rest of the sandwich. The sandwich and a soda were very reasonably priced for what I got. I would love to try the original Tony's if I'm ever in South Philly. Thank you.
