I experienced great success here. They blend strengthening and massage to coax your issues to better performance. I appreciated being assigned to ONE therapist and ONE assistant who followed my care (Better than Leading Edge or Cora, where I've also had therapy in the last 5 years but both pass you around to many people du jour.) I didn't give 5 stars for two reasons: accessibility-if you didn't plan well in advance, they were not available and you might have a week break between seeing them. (Also didn't like seeing the 2 days in a row rather than spread through the week.) Also they only work you 30 minutes, where others give you an hour for the same co-pay. (Granted, it worked, but I often felt rushed or "just beginning".)

There are a few there that do a really good job, but most spend their time conversing with one another about their personal business and barely realize that you as a patient are their seeking assistance. In particular I was under the care of Ashley England. After several sessions with Ashley I had to file a complaint with the patient advocate department. This isn't something I would normally do, but my last session with her put me over the edge. She talks non-stop with her co-workers distracting them as well from their patients. I continuously had to ask her for instructions for my exercises and how many reps needed. She was too busy talking about Disney and even left to go search on her phone how much a hamburger costs there! Totally unprofessional. The last straw was when I left the session walked back in to ask for the name of the manager in that department and I caught her talking about me with her co-workers in FRONT of the other patients there. This is totally unacceptable and if Watson Clinic allows this kind of behavior with their employees their reputation will begin to falter.

The surgery went smoothly and very quickly and I was able to drive myself home. It was much less invasive and my recovery has been much quicker than traditional carpal tunnel surgery. They did not make me feel welcome and were not accommodating at all, but the worst thing was when they started telling lies because they made mistakes and tried to cover themselves. So rude, they don't return calls or messages in MyChart, they also don't send the medication to the pharmacy that the Doctor has ordered, and then try to make excuses, telling lies about why it isn't there. The manager of this office is no better, she told me over a week ago that she will send me a referral for another office and the information to make a formal complaint, and I still have not heard anything from her. Instead of talking to his patients directly when there is an obvious problem, Dr. Timothy Evans hides and lets his staff, who are not nice enough or honest enough to have this position, continue to cause stress in his patients. No, he refuses to see patients and doesn't even have the manners to tell them, let alone a reason, why. This is known as abandonment!

He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly. Whether you're an athlete, coming off of a surgery or just needing guidance with an unknown injury, the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates are a fantastic option for support.

Finally I had no choice as I had NO use of my left hand and impaired use of my right hand. Started researching and met with a few orthopedics and neurosurgeons. My search led me to CARPAL TUNNEL RELEASE in Lakeland. This Ultra-minimally invasive procedure, TOMO release was invented by Dr Jurbala (thanks Doc!) All I can say is WOW ! 2 WEEKS and my right hand is 100% back to normal. My left hand which was excessively compressed for many years, will take a bit longer.
