Lehigh Plumbing actually picked up the phone when I called and offered to send someone immediately, but I opted to wait until the morning to save a few dollars. My experience with Lehigh regarding a plumbing issue at my Bethlehem property was not as good as some of the previous reviews. Initially, I called and there was a delay of an extra week for the estimate because of some personal matters having them get a little behind - no biggie. The second issue was that I received a text that "the plumber was on the way" on the wrong day. If I wasn't in the middle of a required webinar for work, I probably wouldn't have been so annoyed at having to pick up the phone and tell them the estimate wasn't scheduled until the next day. A big problem, no, but they should be able to get the day straight for their estimates. Last, the much more significant issue is that after Ryan came out the next day for the estimate, but never followed through, though he said I'd have it "in a few days." Maybe I should have been clued in since he didn't take a picture or a note, but I took him at his word. To be balanced, Ryan was on time, polite, and answered most of my questions. When I have a repair that's over $1,000, or so, I typically ask more questions about how they bill. Lehigh, like many (not all) plumbers, likes to give a "flat rate" as if that's some sort of deal. My problem was somewhat more complicated than a typical plumbing repair (a 4' X 1' section of concrete had to be cut out to access a damaged pipe under the basement slab). Very simply, I want to know how long it will take, roughly, and how many people will be working on it. That way, as with a mechanic or similar repair person, I can get an idea of what you are charging me per hour for not only the master plumber but the assistant. Again, I realize many plumbers don't like breaking down the cost of a job because that exposes their hourly rates, but if you say you are going to give an estimate, at least have the decency to get back to me even if it is to say I don't think we're a fit for your repair. We can agree to disagree on what's fair or not regarding billing, but we can't agree on just disappearing. I really don't appreciate having my time wasted. In a nutshell, show up the day your supposed to for the estimate, then follow through on the estimate or at least send an email explaining why you aren't going to do that. read more

My water heater stopped working on Friday. I called and spoke with Ashley, who was extremely pleasant and helpful. Saying they couldn't make it out until Monday she gave me the names of two other plumbers and their numbers. They also couldn't make it until Monday. So I confirmed an appointment with Ashley for today Monday. I got a text that Adam was on his way. 5 minutes later Adam arrived a half hour early. He replaced both upper and lower thermostats as well as heating elements. I have hot water again. I'm very pleased with the work, courtesy, professionalism, workmanship and price. We had leaking water line manifolds that one company could not repair and we were lucky enough to find Lehigh! The manifold system had to be redesigned to fit in small area left by original construction. Dan came up with a redesign that was more functional and copper. A true work of art ! Sooo.. My main sewer pipe was broken between my house and the street. I had an excavation company come out and dig it up. When they dug it up they found the problem was also a damaged main water line. I called Lehigh and Dan came within in hour. He assessed the problem and sensed the urgency. Having 4 small children and no running water was a disaster waiting to happen. Lehigh secured the required permits from the city and repaired the damage all in ONE DAY!!!!! I can't thank them enough!! Dan was amazing so professional and gave me tips and was extremely nice and sympathetic of our situation.. Thank you again Lehigh Plumbing!!! Call them if you need any plumbing help.. I hope I never have to again because that means there is a problem, but if I ever need to they will be the only call I make!! read more

STOP READING NOW AND CALL THEM. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. PERIOD! We had issues with the plumbing in a short sale home we were looking to buy. Me being a little overzealous thought I could do a lot of the work myself. Had a few issues along the way and had to call in a plumber. I had my girlfriend look up plumbers on the Angie's List app and boy am I glad she called Dan at Lehigh Plumbing. He showed up at the house within 30 minutes. He diagnosed the problem almost instantly. He gave us a quote, and when we requested to do some of the work ourselves he happily obliged and lowered our quote to $900. (Yes, the final bill for an emergency plumber came in below the quote). Since we were having the house appraised the next day we needed the water to be functioning for the appraisal. He originally had us scheduled for a week later but was able to re-arrange his schedule to and he did the work right then and there. While I ran to Lowe's to get a few parts that Dan suggested I get to make the system work correctly, he went to work on the water main into the house. When I returned in about 30 minutes it was almost completed. And after taking a few plumbing tips from the pro, I went to work. He was even kind enough to offer his help on some of the work not in the quote to help it go smoother. We were able to isolate the upstairs water from the downstairs water (at Dan's suggestion, well worth the few dollars for extra valves). We turned the downstairs water on and worked out a few kinks but got it up and running. We tried doing the same for the upstairs and made a nice little shower in our kitchen. Dan helped me diagnose the issues and had suggestions as what to do if it were his home. He did this after payment had gone through. This extra 30-45 minutes after the job was completed solidified my belief that he was the best plumber in the area. If it weren't for Dan's help and flexibility we would have had to walk away from a home that we had sunk a lot of time, money and energy into before it was even ours. I am very happy with this choice of plumber. I will use him in the future for even tiny jobs to show gratitude for his excellent work, wealth of knowledge and professional and helpful personality. I found my plumber. Our main sewer line was clogged. Lehigh Plumbing showed up promptly and snaked our sewer line from our house to the township sewer line. Ultimately, the issue was at the city sewer line after a couple of attempts to clear our sewer line (we called the township afterward and it was resolved by township). Although the issue was not initially resolved, we received excellent professional service at a reasonable price. Lehigh Plumbing is responsive and reasonably priced. I called their main number on a Friday, having picked them from an online list of "Best Plumbers in Easton," to deal with a plumbing emergency. Dan, one of the owners, called back within a couple minutes, then came at the end of the day ON A FRIDAY, and quickly rectified the plumbing problem--having to do with the clean-outs of my waste water piping. As promised, a couple days later, he provided me with a quote to do a more major repair to the waste water pipe clean-outs.
