He loves it there but the ambiance the Cobb parkway location can't compare to the hustle and bustle of a Mall. They also offer more services at this location. My husband and I went for a couples' full body and foot massage and it was so relaxing! We cannot wait to come back! The only thing we would change is having heated beds for the massages because I was a little cold during the massage under just a thin sheet. This was my first time visiting this spa after hearing so many good things about it from friends. We had a group come in after a long work week, so we were needing this relaxation. Appointments were made beforehand which helped with us being seated within seconds. We ordered the foot reflexology special for $30 for one hour. They started with massaging the shoulders, neck, and head then began working on the legs and feet. I was so relaxed. Several around us were snoring lightly from the stress release. I really wanted to love this place because it is close to my home, but the massage was very uncomfortable. Long story short, I had the sheet removed completely as I waited for the masseuse to leave the room so that I could dress, but she grabbed my sheets off of me and felt it necessary to wrap my towel around me for me. She also did not respect undergarments being left on and moved them out of her way when they were there for a reason, and there was no communication throughout of what was going on. Meaning, hot stones were used, which is great, but I was not told that we were going to use them nor introduced to the heat. Rather, they were just put directly on me and were extremely hot and it hurt. I have had about four hot stone massages, they are my favorite, but I asked for them and was introduced to the heat so that it would not burn. I say that to emphasize that this actually hurt. I went in with no expectations, just needed a good massage. You go into the massage room, lay down and bury your face into paper protected hole space (whatever u call it! lol) and my guy for the hour came in. Yes, you can request male or female hands. What can I say?! I like it rough. Anyway, never even saw the guy and only exchanged a yes or no with him. That part was kind of weird... but he gave me a bomb massage! Then I went into the co-ed sauna... you get to lock ur stuff up in a locker and put on a robe. At first, I was alone in there so I went on IG live. lol Then a couple girls came in and a married couple. We all started chatting and it was a fun hot and sweaty time. I had a Groupon and all i can say was that it was ok. I think she spent more time on the back of me than anything. She didn't even touch my feet. I opted for the Sauna afterwards which never got hot enough for me to break a sweat. I will give the place one more try and do reflexology. read more

I had been to this Spa a four or five times before and thought it was pretty good. Not the best but good for the price. I'd never bothered to review it until my last visit which kind of sucked. I was reviewing another place today and remembered that I wanted to comment on my last massage at this place. I've been getting regular massages for the last 9-10 years so I've got a lot of visits to draw on to deliver a single star. The friendly woman behind the counter let me know that I was going to have a male therapist. I prefer a female therapist but, whatever, I've had male therapists before and it's fine. The guy was a skinny middle aged guy and when he first came in I told him Iike lighter pressure. I've been getting massages for so long that I'm not afraid to tell them if it's too much pressure. The guy starts and in the first couple minutes I ask him for lighter pressure. He repeats, "lighter ok". There is no language barrier issue. Then a little further into the massage I have to tell him to lighten up again. This happens two more times and he's just not getting it. I think to myself if I have to ask him to lighten up again I'm just going to stop the massage. I've only ever stopped a massage once before because my allergies kicked in and I couldn't stop sneezing. It was no reflection on that therapist. This guy was just awful and didn't take direction at all. Here is where the one star comes in. The guy had to know I didn't enjoy my massage at all. I go out to the lobby and am waiting to pay. The therapist guy walks to the lobby with me and is standing about 3 feet away looking towards the payment counter and sort of in my general direction. I don't know if he thought I'd complain or what. He just stood there the whole time. It was really freaking awkward. Was his goal to intimidate me? You don't watch your customers pay when you are in a tip industry. Like how weird would it be if your waitperson stands over while you fill in the tip. I actually did leave the guy like 15% (lower than my normal massage tips) which in hindsight I shouldn't have. I should have complained that he sucked right there in front of him but I'm pretty mild mannered and it's not my style. At some point, after much awkwardness, a woman behind the counter seemed to have scolded him in his native tongue and he walked off but by that time I was practically done. Really unprofessional of that guy. Before typing this up I read some of the other reviews. There is another yelper who goes by Katrina S. I read this in her review and wondered if I'm the lady she saw getting stared at by the weird massage guy or if that's his typical behavior!?! From her post, "There was a mid aged white woman in front of me paying her bill and the man that works there was standing there watching her pay the lady behind the desk like she was going to run or steal or something lol it was so weird." I really enjoy this place, I've been a few times. The ONLY qualm I have is that sometimes the employees aren't very considerate of noise. While getting a foot massage, I could hear employees talking and coughing in the back. It was very distracting and took away from my experience. During the same visit, I could hear an employee and customer's full conversation outside of my private room. Also extremely distracting. I will definitely be back because not all of my visits have been this way, but hopefully they can be quieter next time. read more

Place was good and professional until we went to pay. The older lady at the front obviously wanted me to tip more, even though I paid for a full body massage yet only my back was massaged. I come here all the time to get the one hour foot massage for $30. Amazing! But since today was Mother's Day, I decided to get a full body massage in addition to the one hour foot massage. This was the best massage I have ever received in my life! Tomo was awesome! I have done the Natural Body, the Spa Sydell and the Village Health thing, but you definitely get more bang for your buck here for equal (or better if you get Tomo!!) services. Now if you must have cucumber water and complete silence to enjoy your spa day, this is not the place for you. Don't get me wrong, everything is very nice, the masseurs are professionally trained and they treat you wonderfully, but you occasionally may hear someone talk when you are getting a body massage and the room for the foot massage is communal. But most people are respectful and quiet. I love this place!! read more

I like how they have two separate areas, one for foot massages and the other for body massages. The space is tranquil, clean and relaxing.
