We were pretty concerned, as we only have a few days to look around, and in Wyoming you need a good vehicle to do so. So we checked online last night at about 4:30pm which was dicey in itself because they close at 5. But we drove down there anyway to talk with them, and even as they were closing, they were able to make a spot for us this morning 8/28/25. We got there at 8am and before we could ask, Kira at the front desk offered to find us a ride back to our hotel. We gratefully accepted! The owner Rick gave us a ride and after talking for a few minutes, we felt very comfortable with both him and his establishment. He assured us that they would do everything in their power to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Right after 9am, we got a call from them, letting us know they found the issue and would start fixing it right away. So we took a short walk around our hotel's neighborhood and not long after we came back, the phone rang again. They had fixed our truck and it was ready! It wasn't even noon yet! We were very impressed. And Rick came back to pick us up at our hotel to get our truck. Many thanks to everyone involved; Rick, Kira and shop mgr Jay, plus the mechanics who worked so efficiently to get us going again! You guys have definitely earned another customer- when we relocate out here we have about seven vehicles including two car show classics that will need maintenance. We were on our way to Canada via San Francisco, and had very limited funds. We needed a fix that would get us to Canada, where we'd be able to afford to do the larger repair that was needed. We explained this all to Dennis, and he understood. Instead of ripping us off like the other shops wanted to, he came up with a solution that would get us safely to Canada, where he made us promise we'd have the serious repairs done ASAP. The repair was done quickly and well - and he even called us the next day to check we were okay. What a sweetheart! Honestly, if it wasn't for Dennis, we'd still be stuck in Rock Springs. Took my ATV in for service and tune up and told them 10 times to change all fuilds and filters…read more They had it for a month and rebuilt the carb changed the oil and oil filter. They did not change the fiulds in the diff or change the coolant, just topped them off. They didnt change the air or fuel filters. All this was on the work order. The person at the service desk could care less and gave me attitude. I had to have the machine and will take it to another kawasaki dealer as I was told it would be 3-4 weeks before they could get it back in. DO NOT GO Here!!!!! should be no stars

The shop is small and cluttered and not a place for you to hang out, but I don't need a lounge. There is a Chinese place across the street if you need to kill some time. These guys took care of us with both the tow and shop time. It was a really easy fix, that they could have charged a bundle for. Not only did they move a car that was being worked on out of the bay to take care of us quickly, but they also charged us a really small fee and found a dead short that had been bugging me. We were on the road in less than an hour.

Despite the short notice, Carina got me scheduled for Wednesday afternoon when I arrived in Rock Springs. Not only that, Whisler was running a special on oil changes and I received a $31 discount. Perfect timing! Carina was super helpful throughout the entire transaction. The atmosphere at Whisler is clean and friendly. I honestly have never been to a car dealer where all the personnel treated me with such courtesy. They even allowed my dog to stay with me inside while I waited, so on top of everything else, they're dog-friendly folks. I can now continue my trip without worrying about damaging my Silverado engine. I highly recommend Whisler Chevrolet for any automotive service.
