I live in Hawaii and made an online purchase. They upgraded my shipping to 2 day air but UPS messed up momentarily lost or delayed the package. Scheduled a one on one to go through the functions and settings of a new camera at the shop. I had nominal expectations. After the event I met my wife for lunch and she asked how it went. I'm not sure how this store only has 11 reviews. I have had a stellar experience with them and sadly I live in SF where we have our own Leica store, and Leica Miami blows them out of the water!!! I have been a full-time photographer since 2008 and have always had an affinity for Leica. One of my best friends acquired an m240 in 2018 and the more I was around it the more I thought about one. I did pick up a d-Lux 7 for a "fun" personal camera and honestly it was phenomenal for a point and shoot. Fast forward to quarantine 2020, my friend and I did a headshot exchange. The files out of the Leica were so beautiful that I was finally sold. I scoured the web looking for a mint condition Leica m240. I am convinced that it is one of like is best models because there were not many for sale online at all. I think Ebay had two for sale in the entire United States and all the leica stores that I had looked at didn't have any until I came across like a Miami. They had one m240 that was in great shape, and the price for the shape it was in seemed like such a great deal in my opinion. I purchased the camera in the evening in a Friday and the camera arrived from FL to SF on a Monday. I have been in love ever since. Look no further than Leica Miami, they are efficient, and when you email with a question they are so helpful and respond right away. They are my go to leica dealer. read more

Nice, modern, upscale camera shop with an amazing selection including vintage equipment that's like new. I've known Luis, on their sales team, for years, and he Doesn't just sell, he's a proper photographer in his own right, and designs some pretty cool wearables as well (you can see a selection in-store). I actually didn't go for Leica gear... I needed a nice strap for my Hasselblad, and they carry Artist&Artisan ... a nice handmade brand from Japan. The silk strap is incredibly strong and comfortable- I've attached a photo of the strap. read more

Great place if you've got lots of money to spend. I come from a family of collectors and have actually been to the Leica factory in Germany a couple of times and really just stopped by because this is the first opportunity I've had to stop into one of their actual storefronts. The staff were friendly even though it was obvious from our appearance that the most we'd be walking out with were some catalogues or free literature or what have you. We had a very pleasant time talking with the staff who were supremely friendly. If you're into cameras or well heeled enough to buy Leica kit which, even though you are well past the point of diminishing returns, is still some of the best in the world. They have a nice selection of oddball accessories and customizing bits which are very cleverly done, things like shutter release caps and the like. read more

If you are looking for absolutely first-rate service from a camera store, this place delivers. You can try whatever cameras you want, for as long as you want, and they even accompany you outside of the store so you can shoot in the lovely environment of Coral Gables' Miracle Mile. When I tried out the X-U underwater camera, they even let me take it underwater in the nearby fountain. Bring your SD card and you can take all the pictures you want. Of course this is the Leica store, which means it only sells Leica products. If you are unfamiliar with the brand, the first thing you should know is that it is extremely costly. Don't walk into the Leica store without at least being aware that their most cost-effective camera is the Q, which costs $4,250. Why on earth would someone pay so much for a camera? Leicas are finely crafted cameras, designed by passionate photographers for passionate photographers. Precision, craftsmanship and elegant beauty of design are hallmarks of Leica. These are, alas, not inexpensive things to make. Does all this make you take better pictures? It does make photography more fun. There is no doubt in my mind that using a Leica makes me want to put more time and effort into my photography. Whether that makes it better or not depends on the situation, but I definitely take a great deal of pleasure in using one. So letting you freely use the product is simply a sneaky way to get you to consider the camera long enough to get hooked. In a word: It works. The people are friendly, knowledgeable and truly love the products they are selling, which makes visiting the place a lot of fun. You could say this is a place run by fans, for fans. A lot like an Apple Store, which I believe the Leica stores were modeled after. One thing I like about the Leica Store Miami is that their companion web site, reddotforum.com, has very interesting reviews of Leica cameras. Now, obviously they are far from impartial, but they write them well and the photography done in the reviews speaks well for reviewers and the cameras alike. They also have community meetings and events with prominent photographers. There is also a Leica store in West Palm Beach, called the Pro Shop for Photographers. Although it looks almost identical to the Leica Store Miami, and was actually the first one to be opened, the Miami Store is crushingly superior in being able to get a full Leica product experience. I live very close to the West Palm Beach store, but I will always go to the Miami store to try and buy any Leica gear I want. The only caveat I will give is that if you are in the slightest danger of buying a Leica camera coming into the store, they will probably be successful at selling you one. Your wallet will feel the pain but your photographic spirit will soar. Leica cameras are just that type of product ...
