They handled an entirely DIY setup and take down, kept all of my decorations organized, and made sure the entire day was perfect from start to finish. Shepherd University has many dining options throughout the campus the issue is that the staff…read morethroughout isn't well trained, they seem very confused on how to use the meal plans and what needs to be used when purchasing. Shepherd Dining Services also only allows one to only use 2 meal swipes per meal period which is morning til 11AM then 11AM-4PM then dinner at 4PM-11PM. I have the most expensive meal plan the Deluxe 300 which gives me 300 meals per semester which is $6.50 a meal. The problem is that I can only use 2 per meal period which does not leave me much at all when I have class to juggle, meetings, exams scheduled, and tutoring etc.. on top of everything it does not leave much time to grab something to eat and if I already used 2 say at 11AM for a coffee and a salad. I cannot eat again until 4PM in the evening. I paid for 300 meals per semester I would like to use them when necessary and when I am hungry. I would be greatly appreciated if the staff knew how to use them and if you just let us use them when we want to as well. Thank you.

You can tell Kelly takes a lot of pride in the integrity of the historic home and of her business. My husband and I always feel so welcomed here. Kelly is incredibly kind, accommodating, and inviting. We also loved that they have a fully stocked, self service coffee bar available anytime, featuring a great variety of coffees, espressos, teas, and even hot chocolate to suit whatever mood you are in. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, this is it. The staff is so friendly, and having spa services available right on site makes it even better. Plus, it is in a great location, just a short, easy drive into Middletown to grab lunch or dinner. This is the perfect place to truly unwind and recharge.
