Not much else to say since it's a public display. There was one security guard there when I visited so that's nice but aside from that, what you see is what you get. I took my wife, and overall it was... okay. The biggest downside? The crowds. It was packed, making it almost impossible to get a clean photo without strangers walking through the frame or ending up in the background. Thank goodness for Samsung's AI photo editing--it saved a lot of our pictures. Parking was another headache. It took us a while to find a spot, and then we still had to walk over to Urban Light. After taking a few photos and spending a little time looking around, we were pretty much done and headed out for dessert. Overall, it's a nice place to visit once, but I probably wouldn't go back. And maybe it's just me, but I couldn't help thinking it's kind of a waste of electricity to keep all those lights on throughout the entire night.

whoohoo, first review! stopped by this gallery after eyeing some nice art pieces in the window and…read moredecided to check it out. as i perused around, i saw lots of street art and cool knick knacks displayed by artists i weren't too familiar with...but after talking to the owners about street artists that i liked, he was able to point out a few prints and pieces in the back of the store that were on sale. the owners were really chill and were kind enough to show off pieces from their own collection that they were selling. they also had a few prints by Shepard Fairey and other artists for sale as well. i ended up buying a Cryptik- Eastern Philosophy book, which was sold out online and so it was a pleasant surprise to find here. definitely a cool spot to check out if you're into contemporary/urban art!

When my mother asked if it was an option, we were able to get in for free which was great and so appreciated. 2) they had some contemporary art exhibits that were pretty cool and that we enjoyed. Cons: 1) we wished we chose an audio tour option or had a guide so we could better appreciate the exhibit. This…read moremuseum is definitely an art experience worth visiting with iconic figures and street art that paints Mr. Brainwash's (Thierry Guetta) main mantra for the museum, "Life Is Beautiful" which is dedicated to honoring imagination, joy, creativity and inspiration. It's his own work that is displayed but he also references artists work such as the famous Banksy and other artists. A friend told me that the documentary, Exit through the Gift Shop, is connected to this museum. I have yet to watch but will do so to gain more understanding. Apparently, it was free museum day because there were hosts at the door greeting and letting visitors in. That was nice. It wasn't too busy but a good crowd to where I had to wait for my turn to take photos. It's three levels including the rooftop where more artwork is held and a view overlooking Beverly Hills. They also have a gift shop with unique items for purchase. I bought a cutesy pen with an engraved quote on it. To add, I was instantly moved by the creativity and effort they put into this museum. It brought a lot of inspiration. The art work gave me ideas of how I would want a part of my home to look like. It was a fun visit and would recommend for anyone wanting to dig into their imagination and enjoys art. I am also a sucker for anything that brings out the inner child in me and this place fed it well. Thank you, Mr. Brainwash and staff. Ps. The museum might be closed now. However, these hours are contingent on the gardener, who may not show up or may come late / leave early. If you're coming from afar, it might be a good idea to email the owner at gardenofoz@me.com and ask about that particular week. I found the email address on a webpage about the garden. I emailed at the start of the week when I wanted to come but heard back the following week. Turns out the gardener had car trouble so the garden was closed the previous week. The owner did email me back again letting me know the garden would be open the following week, which was nice of her. So, if you're driving from afar, reach out to confirm. Don't come at the last minute just in case the gardener leaves early. It's not the easiest to access but hey, this is a private home and we're lucky to have any access to it. This is interesting for anyone who loves folk art, mosaics, outsider art, etc. It's a large space with a lot to look at. No photography is allowed. Parking is on the street. The streets are narrow and hilly but there should be available parking within a reasonable distance.

It is approximately 8 feet tall and 10 feet wide. It stands at the entrance to a small, private parking lot, and next to a huge "CALIFIA" mural. The bright pink background brings life to any photo taken here. There is a small informational flyer pasted on the mural's edge. It includes information such as The start of the Global Angel Wings Project began in 2012 in The City of Angels to remind us that we are angels on earth. The project has spread to Taiwan, Australia, Kenya, and other cities, including Haleiwa, Hawaii! Membership in the Academy is open to qualified filmmakers around the world. The Academy was originally founded as a company union to medicate labor disputes and improve the film industry's image in 1927 nearly 100 years ago! Louis B. Mayer, the studio head of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) founded the Academy. Who doesn't just love the golden Oscar statue/trophy! I've enjoyed countless episodes of Joan Rivers and her daughter's (Melissa Rivers) various shows about the fashion aspect of the Oscars. Fashion Police was one of my favorite Rivers' shows! I miss Joan asking "who are you wearing?" There's nothing quite like the Oscars Red Carpet and seeing all the stars all decked out and stopping for a few questions from reports and posing for photographs! It's fun to see the outfits, makeup, accessories, jewelry, and hair styles! Thanks, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, for years of Oscars entertainment!

I…read morespecifically went there to see one of my favorite animation films "Ponyo" but there was so much more to see. They currently have a jaws exhibit, beauty, and the beast, and Barbie as usual they have all of the fabulous costumes from various cinematic greats. It's a must see and definitely worth taking a day to visit. The admission is $25 parking is also around $25. You can get lost in there for an entire day. It's a day well spent. There is a café and a bar and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. if you're looking for something to do in LA this is a place to go. I always enjoy myself and exhibits rotate so there's always something new to see!
