The Palm is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking and it is easy to find. Dinner seating was a 5:30pm, with the show starting at 7:30. When you arrive, you are seated at a table and then drink orders are taken. Alcohol and soft drinks are not included in the ticket price. For Saturday dinner, you have the choice between the hot food buffet or 3 plates meals. Both options include access to the salad bars, soups and dessert buffets. Our party all opted for the plated meals and I got a seafood pasta that exceeded expectations. Portions are also large and they will wrap leftovers. The salad bars and soups were pretty standard, but the desserts had a lot of variety. The staff does a good job at making sure meal service is done in advance of the show and the buffet area does close before the show begins, with servers bringing bills and taking drink orders during intermission. The show itself was amazing with a talented cast that would inspire me to check out other performances at the Broadway Palm!

It was very busy and a little tough to find parking but once we did we couldn't believe our eyes seeing so many shark teeth! Big and small from all types of sharks and there were some beautiful wall art made with shark teeth some dipped in resin with beautiful colors it was amazing to see how celebrated these teeth were. The live music was great people were dancing having a good time. I didn't see very many food vendors maybe because venices strip has restaurants up and down but they definitely had drinks non alcoholic and alcohol. I got myself a really cool branded coconut from surfing coconut that they crack open and you can drink fresh coconut water that was cold and refreshing. And the Kids Zone was great my kids got to find their own shark teeth offered by the Venice Lions Club which they got two minutes to find as many shark as they could and when they were done they had about 10/20 shark teeth each! This was a great festival filled with very talented vendors and amazing fossils and Shark teeth I will definitely be attending next year's event!

My family and I tried all of the different options (prime rib, salmon, and chicken) and thought they all tasted good. Though I could have done without cranberries in my rice... The tickets are expensive (makes sense...you're getting a show, a 5-course meal, and riding a train) and being able to buy separately was really helpful for us. Everything the night of the event ran like clockwork. Boarding the train was easy and fun. We had a table in the Gasparilla train car with lovely servers who took care of us all night. Drinks are pretty reasonable (ice tea and water are included, but you can purchase soda, beer, wine, cocktails) and you can even get a full bottle of wine for your table which you can take home if you don't finish onboard. The meal was better than I expected. It started with a fruit and cheese plate, then we had hot pretzel rolls an butter, a delicious potato leek soup, a salad, and then the appetizer. Our choices were prime rib (friends said it was delicious), chicken francese (I loved it) and salmon. Dessert was a cheesecake. The performers were very animated and enthusiastic. These murder mystery shows are always hard for me to actually follow and figure out. I appreciate all that goes into it, but I wish I was a better sleuth. My only issue is that the train ride itself is VERY long at 3 - 3.5 hours. I love a nice train ride, but I wonder if they could shave a little time off the ride.

They have senior citizens discounts and other discounts for different times of the day and week. Always have to try the popcorn and it was freshly popped and did not disappoint. Recently purchased 1/2 cow from Pineshine, which is located in St. James City/Pine Island. Had been…read moresearching for local 100% grass fed/finished beef to fill our freezer and Pineshine is 1 of only a few that offer this quality. Most others are grain finished, which we did not want due to the health profile changes it can create, even if only fed grains for a few weeks. Ordering was fairly simple. Communication was a bit spotty (specifically our timeframe & cost), but I suspect it's because they do it all themselves - no marketing department to make things slick, which was fine w/us. We paid quite a bit per pound (more than I'd expected), but the meat is delicious and excellent quality. We've ordered 1/2 cow from other farms in the past, but this is probably the best tasting meat we've had from any ranch so that's impressive! So far we've cooked up ground beef, steaks, roasts, organ meat and made the most amazing beef bone broth from one of the soup bones. All items have been excellent quality, freshness and flavor. We chose to pick-up our meat from their farm. It was easy to schedule pick-up, everyone who helped us was friendly. If you don't have enough coolers to transport they will loan you a few to get home and then you bring them back. Here are the opportunities for improvement...Although the meat is the best we've had, the packaging is the worst we've had. I realize Pineshine isn't doing their own butchering, but the butcher they used is reducing the value of their product. The meats are all wrapped in white butcher paper and taped. Steaks are varying thickness. You can't tell how many steaks or bones are in each package until you open it since the wrapping is white. It's a mess when thawing as the paper gets soaking wet and the juices seep out. Sometimes the paper rips so you then have exposed meat. I prefer to avoid using plastic, but it's SO much nicer to have clear vacuum sealed meat in the freezer. I know exactly how many packages of steak to pull out when I can see them in the bag. If I'm running late on meal prep, I can submerge a vacuum sealed frozen package and have it thawed for dinner. I have a lot more confidence in the freshness several months in with vacuum sealed beef vs paper wrapped. Probably good we didn't know it would be paper wrapped, as we would have ordered elsewhere and missed the opportunity to eat their amazing beef. I also wish custom packaging were offered, which is what we've had with other cows (more roasts vs steaks, thickness of steaks, pounds per package, etc). We only use 1lb of ground beef at a time but all our beef was in 2lb packages and that's such a bummer and waste for us. It's difficult to cut frozen beef so I end up just thawing the whole thing and essentially losing the opportunity to use it later for a 2nd meal. Here you get standard cuts unless you buy the entire cow. Overall, I would highly recommend the beef from Pineshine Farms. It's fantastic! Would I re-order? If I could get customized butchering and vacuum sealed packaging then definitely! However, we would probably not reorder if they're still using the same butcher & paper packaging.
