1st, I ordered a pepper jack cheese on a stick, they gave me mozzarella. 2nd it was very greasy. Just wasn't great. It was just ok. People were extremely nice, even though the guy taking our order was in training, he worked hard to take our order. It is a drive thru only. You pull up to the door and they come out and take your order and then walk it out to your car, so no tables or even a counter to order from. read more

Went to get three drinks and the person that came out was freaking rude as hell. Usually they come out with a smaller version of the menu and when we asked for it she pointed to the one at the drive through and said "it's right there" we placed our order anyway. If I could give negative stars I would, we are from out of town and visited for the first time super excited. We ordered a potato dog and drink, the lady taking order was nice but not informative about the menu or options that come with the corn dog weather it's cheese or all beef. We ordered then the lady came out because she forgot what we ordered, we told her we weren't aware we had an option and then asked for all Cheese since they didn't start our order. She left then a shorter older lady came out and start yelling through the car window saying "next time You what that say that if that's what you want" we then said nicely we're sorry we weren't given any options they lady forgot Our order this lady was so aggressive and out of line we left with out our order and paid, mind you they weren't busy so I am unsure of the hostile behavior or aggression of their mistake, I called to speak to the manger the same lady picked up and stated yelling are you the person who just left go ahead call my manager here's her number 915 and I told her you know what you have poor customer service and are a bad representation of Your establishment. I can not imagine the amount of customers that have delt either her poor management of anger and frankly just working. Do not waste your time here. This place is a joke. I ordered the strawberry watermelon drink, and the photo on their instagram page clearly showed actual strawberries and watermelon in it. When I got mine, there was none of that. When I asked, the employee straight up told me the fruit is "just for advertising." Seriously? My family and I also got the chile con queso fries and the pizza fries. Both were absolutely terrible. The chile con queso fries were supposed to come with Hot Cheetos, but there weren't any, and the fries and cheese tasted old and stale. The pizza fries were just as bad cold sauce, no cheese, and barely edible. Been wanting to try this place for a while based on posts I've seen from others & the fact that there's always a line! Ordered the original corn dog meal (minus the ketchup, mustard & Mayo). Came with fries and ordered the mango lemonade. This meal was a hit with my 10 year old son. Opted for the nacho corn dog meal with the pineapple tajin lemonade. Enjoyed this meal too. The thing I liked least was how the cheese made the crunchy corn dog breading get a little soggy but other than that, good stuff! Ordered a fried cheese combo with a cucumber tajin lemonade and a separate mango tajin lemonade for the girls to split. This was a hit also. Plan on returning to try other options in the future. Recommendations would be to post the menu outside somewhere so customers can know what they want prior to getting helped. For those that like corn dogs but not lemonade, having a couple other drink options would be appreciated too. read more

We've only tried the lemonade here, being unaware they serve food until we saw the menu. We were not hungry, so we just ordered the drinks. The lemonade was good, and cold and refreshing. They could add a little more fruit to increase the flavor of the fruity lemonades, but overall, we wanted to cool down and the drinks helped. The service was good and quick, no issues. Not much to mention about ambiance, since this is a shack by the highway. Maybe next time we will try the food. read more

Everything was way way overcooked then covered in sauce so they became incredibly chewy and hard to bite into. The pictures on the menu don't show them covered in sauce so we were disappointed as my kids wouldn't eat them like that. Dip cups would be way better. The fries were very salty and also fried to death. I was excited about the lemonade choices but they were super sweet, did not have the fresh tarte taste of fresh squeezed lemonade, it was all syrup. The soda was flat too! No where to sit and unfortunately an extremely messy car food, because of the sauce situation. Staff was kind but it was very slow, we watched the 4 cars behind us get their food while we had to pull off to the side for only 3 meals. Damn! Really lived up to the hype I kept getting from friends. It was out to me quick, fries are pretty tasty, and the corn dog is on point. I got the buffalo corn dog. The sauce has a good heat to it, great buffalo sauce taste. Crisp outside and soft inside. Probably one of the best corn dogs I've had. Yes it's true. The servers can have a little attitude. It's not terrible, they're just a little short with you and are probably over worked. There is really no ambiance as you drive up and they come to your window to take your order. The food is really tasty though. Delicious corn dogs with unique toppings make this place a great addition to El Paso fast food dining establishments. The lemonade is also good. Give this place a try, just know they may not be super nice, but it's ok. read more

I stumbled upon Lemon Beaters after getting my oil change and did some shopping near by. I thought the location was great, easy to find. The drive thru wasn't busy and I wanted to try a fresh squeezed lemonade. The girl who took my order was really nice. I felt for her to be in the sun in the summer's heat. The service was really quick, and I was happy with my lemonade. Ok so I've been to lemon Beaters several times. Both this and the northeast Dyer location. The lemonades have always been a big MISS for me. Never very flavorful, never sweet enough and packed full of ice so you get more ice than lemonade. They even post Facebook ads showing all this beautiful fresh FRUIT for their lemonades but in the small print it says "fruit for visual purposes only" or some other codifying statement to let you know YOUR lemonade wiLL NOT be as robust and fruit filled as the pics show. And they aren't. But I liked the corn dogs. $5 for a corn dog is STEEP, but these were HUGE! Like about 8-10 inches and FAT! Fried fresh when ordered ... and with all kinds of toppings or just plain ol' ketchup Mayo and Mustard. I'm not a fan of all the toppings but I love a BIG CORN DOG, that harkens you Back to the state fair, or county fair... so I always just got one of the classics with no Mayo or Ketchup, just extra mustard. But today something has changed and I won't be back. My corn Dog was retrieved immediately, after I ordered car-side, so it was under a heat lamp for some time. It wasn't hot. It no longer came in the nice wax paper lined box. And I got mustard packets. But the SHOCK was how small the styrofoam box was it came in... I thought Surely the car girl had handed me the wrong item originally... but I Opened it and saw a corn dog the size of the $1.79-$1.99 ones you get @ Sonic or Weinerschnitzel. Gone was the giant Corn dog I didn't mind paying $5 for because I guesstimated it to be about a 1/2 lb weiner coated in cornbread coating. But this was just a common kids meal corn dog. With tax and tip it was almost $6! So I don't know what happened or why the Change .. but that's a big disappointment. And not worth the price anymore at all. The staff is very friendly. That automatically gets a star. The lemonades lavender and original were both delicious. The lavender taste isn't too prominent but it's enough to appreciate. Their lemonade menu Options are plenty. Lemonade has extra ice I personally don't mind it since it didn't water down my drink on the contrary it was very refreshing. They have a meal option for $10 you get the hand cut fries , corn dog and 32. Oz lemonade. VS $5 for the lemonade $5 for a corn dog. The corn dog was pretty good and a nice size for adult. The fries unfortunately we weren't a bit fan of , it could be that we got the meal to go and the fries became soggier, but it seemed that they were extra oily more sog than anything. I'm here to attest to the reviews that mention rude service from a female server. Let's paint the picture: I order an amount of food that totals around forty dollars. Nothing complex, no special modifications, not even any drinks. There are seven corn dogs for this order. The server comes out, takes the order, and takes my payment. I wait for a minute and she comes back out to tell me that 4/7 of those corn dogs are unavailable. There are none in stock. So my money is gone, reduced to atoms. And this server has the nerve to throw attitude when I request compensation for their mistake? I asked for a refund, and was told it would "take too long", but was graciously allowed to substitute the unavailable items for other menu choices. I choose another item for what they don't have and she goes back in to tell the cooks. My partner and I then discuss that we'd prefer a refund than the food at all, and request this when she comes back out. We're told, "I can't do that, my boss isn't here and it would take too long to contact her." And here's the kicker that followed - "If you wanted that then you should have told me before I went in to tell them the new order." Like what? I suppose that's my mistake for not realizing that I'm the first customer to ever cancel an order after it's been placed. I should have known it wouldn't be possible to tell the cooks to stop what they're doing and 86 an item. Y'know that little tablet they make you pay on and then enter a tip for doing the bare minimum of their job? You bet I added a tip to my meal too, for an incomplete order and rude service. I bring this up and get told, "Oh that's good that you did! The tips don't even go to me directly but is split between everyone on staff." That's a whole 'nother can of worms I didn't want to get into with this lady. So I reiterate that my frustration lies with losing my money on an order I don't want. She interrupted me at one point too, to point out that, "If I'd just let her finish", then she could uselessly explain how her boss "is only there for like an hour a day then leaves", or how "she doesn't normally blame her coworkers but they didn't say they were out". I felt like I shouldn't need to explain that the kitchen is twenty feet away from the ordering station and part of being a server is ensuring the order can be made *before* taking the customers money. But I digress. So TLDR? Sizable order placed. Money taken. Absent management. Rude server cannot cancel order or compensate better than what the mistake was worth. Did I mention I ordered hot dogs to replace what they didn't have? Burnt my weenies. But that's okay. I lost my appetite after being fed so much nonsense. Oh, and bite me, Google. I finally decided to look for close by eateries to pick up food that are descending the escarpment from Lonoria Mesa, El PasoTX-US. I had hoped for a specific eatery, but it had not survived the ongoing pandemic. However, I was exceedingly pleased to find a new light eatery just off Gateway West close to McRae Boulevard. In fact, I passed the easy entrance off Gateway West, and had to cycle to the intersection with McRae, turn right, then right again into the parking lot for Brakemasters/At Home Delivery stores. It was an easy slight uphill to this compact/intriguing eatery, where I inquired of the lemon-aides about their status. Of course they were open for business, just setting up traffic cones for drive-through customer. In fact, before leaving a half hour after arriving, I was the only customer who actually went inside--all others motored there. The lemony staff freshly prepared all snacks/meals upon order, and were always immensely cheerful. As this was my first-ever visit (and certainly not my last!), instead me ordering only a corn dog & sugar-free lemonade, adding French fries to make a meal wouldn't cost more, I'd just get more (to eat). I heard about Lemon Beaters on social media a few months ago. I wanted to try it after I saw photos of their lemonade and corn dogs. The lemonade looked refreshing and the corn dogs enticing! I saw it when we were having those 105, 107 temperatures so I was definitely intrigued. They offer around 10 different types of lemonade, including a sugar free. They also have different kinds of corn dogs and queso (cheese) fries. They make their corn dog batter from scratch. I'm not sure if they can do all of their flavors in sugar free or just the regular lemonade. I went to their new location on the eastside that opened in August. Their original location is in the lower valley. Overall, the experience was good. The only thing I didn't like too much were the prices. I understand they have to make a profit but $18 is a bit pricey for one lemonade and a combo meal. The meal was $10 and the extra lemonade was $5. I left a small tip. The meal included the corn dog, fries and lemonade. It's as if you're paying $3 and change for each item. I think it's decent for the lemonade because it's pretty big but not so much for the amount of fries and the corn dog you receive. I got a cheese and Hot Cheetos corn dog. It all tasted good and fresh. I'm changing my mind and saying this was 4.5 stars overall. I'm not rounding up. The service was quick. The young girl who was helping me was friendly. Right now they aren't letting people go inside due to Covid-19. You have to go through their makeshift drive-thru. Would I come back? Yeah, probably if I'm in the area. Overpriced - I wouldn't recommend paying $5 for a cupful of ice and water with a lemon garnish. I heard great reviews about this place and was excited to try, but within five sips it was gone. So we want to try a new place each week and this was our weekend choice. It's in our part of the city and we wanted a snack not necessarily a full sit down meal. It was perfect because they do drive thru only. We ordered their lemonade, which were fantastic!! We also ordered two of their specialty corn dogs and I must tell you I am upset I didn't think of that first. Crunchy planks breaded corndog?? Hot Cheeto crusted corndogs?? Genius! Their fries are truly hand cut and were great, especially with cheese! The chicken strip was also crispy and well battered. All in all it was a delightful surprise. My only concern are the prices for the specialty corn dogs. $5 per is a little steep, especially if you are really looking for a hearty meal. Lemonbeaters started out really good and strong. The food was delicious and always hot. the Lemonades awesome with all the different flavors. They opened a second location which was great because it was not only drive thru but you could go in and inside. NOW, there is only the Lemonbeaters left on McRae and they are always closing at different hours. They post their hours on social media and don't respect them. We were just told they are closed when on their hours they still have an hour left to close. very disappointed, the food has also gone down in quality. read more

Hot Dog on a Stick in the mall has closed. Don't try to fix your craving for a perfect corn dog and lemonade at this place. The corn dogs are ok, the lemonade not so much. Not lemony and very watered down. They offer several variations on corn dogs, lemonade and fries but for a hefty price. Hand cut fries are fancy, but even better cooked 'til crispy. A huge batch of limpy fries is not ever appreciated. The quality does not meet the steep prices. Our server was pleasant and we got our drive thru order pretty quick. read more

I wish this place could've lived up the hype for us like it did everyone else but unfortunately it didn't. They are very cautious as far as Covid, you drive up and they go to your car to get your order and deliver your food. Unfortunately when we tried this our corn dogs were beyond burnt, you could even see it in the color of them. This place is nothing too special, their lemonades are decent. So I've been trying places my daughters have been wanting to try for a while, so I gave in. Like The Lazy doughnut and Tippi Teas they were awesome but This place and the Lazy Doughnut were horrible.
