Well this Florist went above and beyond! I was contacted by my friend who thought i may not be able to help. She had lost a close family member unexpectedly. Everyone was so busy getting everything together they forgot about the flowers!! I was asked i know you probably can't help but..."What do you need?" I asked. She said we need flowers like now! At the church this very moment. I said I'll call you back! I hit yelp and found Lopez the Florist. I wish i remembered who i spoke with be he told me "what time, where and how big?" Like Sammy, I am also disappointed after reading so many good reviews. I had ordered flowers yesterday for a wake I attended tonight. The flowers were not what I ordered and paid $150 for. I went into the store and Donny helped me choose by bringing out one of the flowers already finished as an example of what to expect. The beautiful big white roses caught my attention and I immediately told him I wanted to get that exact one. The flowers that were actually delivered pretty much came with everything BUT the big white roses.. the reason why I bought it! Don't get me wrong, it was still a beautiful set, but it would have been nice to actually receive what I paid for. Don't know if they ran out of those roses last minute but at least notify me somehow and let me know! Such a shame because Donny was a really nice guy. I did not think that he would allow this to happen. It was my first time here and I will most likely not return. read more

This review is a bit overdue, as our wedding was this past summer. But my experience with Lopez the Florist has stood out in my mind as exceptional and I was waiting for the time (and photos!) to give them the stellar review they deserve. My husband and I were married this past July in Boston, MA and our venue recommended Lopez. After one meeting with Donnie, I knew I would not be working with anyone else. He is an absolute pleasure to meet with-- he works with whatever budget you present with and is never pushy or suggestive of spending more. He is able to work magic with whatever budget you give him. I met with Donnie twice-- once with my mother and mother-in-law, and once on my own to review the sample. When reviewing the sample I literally went flower by flower, telling Donnie what I liked and didn't like and discussing what could be replaced with what. He patiently listened, asked clarifying questions and spent as much time as I needed to be sure he understood what I wanted. When the final products showed up, I was FLOORED. I had a beautiful wedding, but my flowers were by far my favorite part of the entire day. The flowers were beautiful and full and colorful-- everything I had suggested or said I didn't like was taken into account. When I entered the banquet room at Granite Links I was overwhelmed with the beauty. The room is mostly white, and the flowers seemed to explode with color from each table. My only regret is that I couldn't somehow make each bouquet last forever. I got married on July 9 three weeks before then I was stressed trying to find the right Florest. With such short notice and time running out I started to panic when into Lopez and not only was able to help me out no one could ever beat the cost anywhere. I ordered flowers from Lopez through their online portal for my mother-in-law who lives in Milton. I used their same day delivery and it was super easy! I would estimate that between the time I placed my online order and got an email that the flowers had been delivered was about 3-4 hours. Pretty impressive! They have lots of arrangement options on their website but I chose a custom arrangement by the florist. For that option you set your own price for the arrangement and then they add tax and delivery at checkout. I didn't have any special requests but there's a box to describe exactly what you want, if you happen to know what kinds of flowers the recipient likes. I put in a last minute order on Sunday night for the Color Me Yours arrangement. Online ordering is easy and simple to use on their site. I needed the flowers to be delivered asap on Monday and they delivered it very quickly! I was super impressed of the timeframe. They don't open on Sundays but re-opens at 8am on Monday. They delivered the flowers in 6 hours! As for the arrangement, it didn't look exactly like the picture but it was very similar. Please be aware of their Substitution Policy! A dear friend of mine suddenly passed and was going to be waked in Milton. Not being from the area, I consulted her family and the funeral parlor. Then I went to my tried and true source Yelp. Although they only had 4 or 5 reviews,(all good), they all looked legit and I did some background research on the company. Their website had several clear photos from which to choose from- then I had to call them with additional questions and they were patient and friendly. One of them actually called me back like a half hour later because there was some question about what I wanted on the ribbon, which was a very impotant detail to me and they went up a "star" just for that! The flowers arrived at the time I asked, the flowers,fresh, beautifully arranged, the card and ribbon were accurate. It was a nice assortment of roses, lilies, hydrangeas and other perennials.It was good sized and I was happy when I walked in and saw it. Lopez was recommended to us by the venue we were using for a bridal luncheon shower. We met with Donnie Jr. who was very helpful and really listened to our vision and then showed us a number of different options so we could hone in on what we wanted. He subsequently put together a sample for our review and was great about taking our feedback and tweaking it so the end result was exactly as we had envisioned. We ordered a dozen centerpieces and one long, low floral piece. Everyone at the function commented on the beautiful flowers and they were more eagerly sought after than the favor as a takeaway! One minor issue: the clear cube vases were not wrapped, so the stems and water were visible. I thought the wrapping was standard from all florists, and did not ask, being totally focused on the flowers to be used in the arrangements. So, not sure if it was our oversight for not asking, or if they don't do that unless requested, but that was the only issue, minor for sure. Highly recommend Donnie Jr. and Lopez the Florist.
