Visited this park today in hopes of enjoying the splash pad but it was closed. Also, 4 different groups of homeless. Not including the hotel they set up in the womens restroom, making it completely un-useable. Lots of trash debris and broken equipment. read more

*** A-okay park in Fullerton *** ENVIRONMENT Lemon Park entails just over 5 acres in Fullerton, CA. This includes the following: an activity building, barbecue grills, half basketball courts, free parking, pavilion, picnic tables, two playgrounds (one for 2-5 years of age and one for 5-12-year-olds and 4 sets of swings including 2 for babies), restrooms, softball field, and "spray pool" or as I like to call it a splash pad. This park is most likely a hit when COVID-19 isn't affecting visitations. The enclosed splash pad, by the way, was closed off entirely during our visit on 4/24/21. SERVICE Non-existent. MY FAVORITE PART... Mostly flat areas for my beginner 7-year-old roller skater to cruise around and "perform" her routine for me. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... One major downside was the restrooms not being open. The second was that there were a couple of older model RVs backed into some spots. No issues with those patrons - it just makes for a weird vibe. PARKING Free. Ample. Parking : The parking lot is limited and parking in the residential area (Rosslynn ave) is more convenient. Overview: My family and I came to this park for the splash pad. It was nice overall. The pad has 2 gates one for the seating area and another for the splash pad itself. I liked it because you can sit or lean on the gate as your child plays. My advice would be bring a towel , water shoes (for your child) and cash (for the ice cream truck). The water area was clean, most people place their shoes by the entrance and the water smells like chlorine. Overall, this is a great place to take your child to play in the water. read more

I came here from 4 to 6pm with my 6 year old & 5 month old. There was only three kids & a lot of adults without kids. The parking lot was halfway full but almost no one at the park. They have a splash which is currently closed (obviously). There's a playground for 2-5 year olds and one for 5/6 to 12 year olds. There's 6 swings (two for toddlers). The playground has mostly woodchips. What I really liked was that there were several areas to sit at, all around the playgrounds which is great to keep watch of your kids. They also have some workout equipment for adults. There's a little clubhouse that I think might be for an after school club or something because around 5, the parents started picking up their kids. Both outdoor restrooms were closed. There's a canopy area with tables to host a party. The area is a bit secluded so if you're looking to make friends, maybe a bigger park would be more suitable. read more

Wanted to get a quick review with one of the better "splash pad" type parks over in Fullerton. Located behind Costco/AMC on Lemon St, Lemon Park Spray Pool is where it's at! This park provides a lot of things to do for all ages seemingly--there is an area of outdoor workout machines, and I can say if you are trying to work out on a budget you can get a decent workout in on these machines! They have push and pull machines for your upper body, and some machines for legs. There are basketball courts, and an area to hang out (there are some homeless peeps, but no issues everytime I have gone.). They have a play area with swings, etc for older kids, and one for younger kids with smaller slides and swings. During certain parts of the year, they have the splash park area--be mindful that this tends to get packed on the weekends, etc., but it's a fun area where kids can run around with the water spraying everywhere. As a tip I recommend getting a cheap pair of "shower" shoes to wear while at the splash park area, you (and your little ones) don't want to catch anything or get hurt running around barefoot. This place has two kids play area. The play area is divided for children 2-5 years of age and 5-12 years of age. The play area for 5-12 years of age isn't difficult for toddlers to enjoy as well. Although it is pretty high and the slides might feel a bit dangerous. The play area is a good size and has 4 adult swings and 2 toddler swings. This place has a tiny shade above the play area that doesn't do the job right. There are lots of parking spots that is pretty convenient. There is a fitness equipment near the play area. It has 12 fitness equipment that only people over 14 years of age should use. The fitness equipments look pretty clean and decent. There are a lot of picnic areas and has four BBQ grill areas. Also 3 basketball nets near by for older kids. During the summer time they have the outdoor pool area running. It's not a swimming pool, but more like a huge fountain. It's free so there are tons of kids running around which seems very dangerous. So be cautious of toddlers who can't walk very well or smaller children from the older kids. Overall it's a fun way to enjoy the hot summer for free. Minus one star, because you get to see a lot of homeless people sleeping or sitting around the playground. They don't seem dangerous, but it doesn't feel super safe. So always be careful and be cautious. read more

Cute play equipment but the bathrooms are closed on Wednesday at 10. I saw a few cars but no other kids at the park.

I was initially drawn to this park bc of the 2 shaded playgrounds. Then I saw the spray pad, viewing area, gazebo with bbq pits & rec center so I enquired about making reservations and found that the gazebo was completely affordable! We had my son's 3rd birthday party here on a Sunday from 11-3. Even though the park was full of people inside & out of the spray pool, the layout of tables throughout the park made foot traffic seem so organized. There was also an attendant on duty to supervise the spray pool area. That splash pad is what we'll be coming back for as soon as the season hits! Indoor bathrooms were extremely clean, outdoor bathrooms were stocked but cleanliness was tolerable. read more

New park! Pros: Partially shaded playground areas. Spray/splash area. Restrooms are close by. Cons: The grass is very muddy & a danger as its in very random areas!! The spray pressure is pretty strong for smaller kids. You can smell the chlorine within a few feet of the spray area. The bench areas are not shaded & it gets very hot. This place gets super packed with all the kids near by and trying to leave the parking area, you'll see line of cars trying to get in. read more

Other than the playground area this park didn't meet my expectation. The grass was mostly dead. Not too much shade. A bunch of people jammed under the shaded canopy. A good number of homeless folks sleeping there. If you're local this might make sense.. Or if you wanna splash around. Otherwise there are much better options. read more

Very small park with a small parking lot. They also offer a community hall to rent out thats a lil in the older side with limited parking. Would come here only during the week but would avoid weekends cause of parking. read more

We are so glad we found this place! This park has one of the coolest swing sets we've ever seen - and plenty of space. Plus, there is a really cool water feature for kids to play in, to bring those swim suits! We had a lot of fun playing in the water and on the swings with our daughter. We will be back for sure! read more

Very cool place to bring your kids to keep cool on a hot summer day. There's restrooms and 2 shaded playgrounds close by. I would suggest bringing chairs, towels change of clothes and snacks if you're planning on staying for long. read more

I actually really liked this park, until a regular looking guy sat on the bench next to me and put his hand down his pants while watching the kids. I was like holy ?%$! This is the very best free thing to take kids to in north OC. Its just a spray pool, but a good one, and last year they really improved it and added a nice shaded seating area for parents where you can still see the kids, and the adjacent playground they just installed and updated is a very good playground, to boot. There's only two entrances/exits to the spray pool, which makes keeping track of your kids really easy because they're really well penned in! parking is almost always an issue, but Costco is right on the other side of the fence, and I recommend parking there. The walk is no walk at all, and you can grab cheap pizzas or a drink for the kiddos while you're at it. It may seem small or not super impressive to look at to us big folk, but judge this place based on the way the kids feel about it and it's A+. They will keep themselves entertained for HOURS here and not want to leave! My neices and nephews spend the rest of the year talking about the "water park" read more

This park is pretty cool, but I'm giving it 3 stars because the splash pad shoots up too high for the younger kids (like my 2-year-old), and they also turn it off too early, at 5pm. It would be nice if there were a few areas in the splash pad where the water didn't spray up so high so that it could accommodate younger kids. They should also keep it open until 6pm in my opinion. Also, I don't know if we just came on a bad day, but there was trash and litter all over the ground and on the play structures when we went there. Some (but not all) of the trash cans were overflowing, but that doesn't excuse how the kids and adults seemingly just threw their trash down rather than throwing it in the appropriate receptacle. Even my two year old pointed out all the trash, saying "Mommy that's not right!" Even he knew it should have been in the trash can. The play structures and slides were pretty fun, but due to the lack of cleanliness and the fact that the splash pad is geared toward older kids, I don't think we'll be back for a while. read more

We went for the splash pad but we're disappointed that it's only open 1-5 during the summer, forcing you to go in the heat of the day. My daughter loves this place! Only thing is it's better for older children as they get crazy running around knocking the little ones down. My 4 year old got smacked in the head by an older child. She got a huge lump and a bruise. But she still loves it enough to want to go back! read more
