I am outraged and disappointed on behalf of my daughter, an active duty servicemember, who purchased her first vehicle back in November 2025. She has paid for her vehicle in full, and to date, over 3 months later, has not received her vehicle's Title (illegal based on Maryland law based on the length of time elapsed), her permanent State Tags (currently driving on expired tags provided by the dealership) and has been overcharged for the vehicle's sales tax and tags. Finance office 1/5, if you come here to buy and finance a car, DO NOT use Jackie (finance manager). Politely decline to do financing with someone else or return on another day to do financing. The true nightmare starts after you buy and finance the car with the dealership (who after more research was not in fact the lowest APR) lie #1 by Jackie. you have to do the footwork, which I did on my own. Red flag, but hey we really liked the car and sales staff. Well days later check on the loan pay off, NOTHING. Ok, may take couple days. Check with bank in a week, NOTHING. Call Jackie get some run around about 20-30 day pay off. Well coincidentally the process was STARTED that day of the call (you do the math here). So 6 days later the paperwork is started. "this is how things are done, I have worked at many dealerships"-jackie Call the bank again today 11/11/2024, NOTHING! credit score impacted. Call dealership, oh yeah it was started on 10/31 we know you signed the contract on 10/25 but that's not how it works. Jackie talked down to me like I didn't understand financing. Again with "I have worked at many dealerships, no one wires money"-Jackie sends me a copy of check that is marked 11/5 (yes, 11 days after contract was signed). It's 2024 and we can wire money instantly. OTHER Dealerships do in within a couple days MAX of signing the contract. credit score dropped 30 points from perfect because of this ordeal. Dealership "sorry, that's odd". I know you sold the car, made the money and now don't care. So the old car is on the lot and currently for sale with LIEN on the car. You are telling me that the management wouldn't bust balls to get the lien taken care of if someone was there to buy the car? meanwhile, both the GM and Jackie, sorry your credit score has been effected. Bought a brand new high trim level truck here in 2023. The entire process was a hassle and has been ever since. I'd suggest another dealer. During the buying process the sales manager tried to intimidate me by standing over me while I was seated. I'm a decent sized guy, this dude was just overweight and rude. Sales person was supposed to turn my old tags in that day so I could cancel insurance on the old vehicle. he didn't. no one did. I later found that after the sale he just went home to celebrate. His Last name sounds like a beer brand from PA that starts with Y. I ended up going there, taking my tags off his desk and turning them in myself as he couldn't be bothered. The truck needed a few small fixes from the beggining, and scheduling this was a hassle as was negotiating a loaner for a couple days. This shouldn't be a discussion on a brand new truck with a sticker over $70k. Now I have 2 open recalls I have been trying to get scheduled, and my radio/ screen which controls everything is glitching badly. I have a warranty on it. I have called at least 5 times this past week alone trying to get this scheduled and keep being told I will be called back. I have not been called back. On the final call I explained I had been contacting them for the last 3-4000 miles trying to schedule this stuff and had the same issue. I expressed that if I wasn't called back by the end of Friday I would be leaving reviews and escalating the situation. So, here we are. Sales tries to intimidate you into buying. Also doesn't even hold their end of the bargain to turn in old tags Financing is bait and switch on warranty coverages. Getting service fixes scheduled even on a brand new off the lot truck is a pain. They let your vehicle just idle for long periods of time. Service folks don't call back to help with scheduling. They ask the same questions every time you call and they clearly don't keep a log in the system despite all the typing they do. Or they don't reference the log. It's terrible either way. Super stingy on loaners for services even when they are fixing things on a new truck that shouldn't be broken. In my case it was switches for seat adjustment that weren't there stalled correctly and wavy glass on the driver's side window. When I checked in I told the person checking in my truck I had ordered a part for the tailgate and they were also going to install that. Also under warranty wanted them to look at seat cover. Is it possible to give zero stars? If so, that's how I'd rate this "business". I've attempted to car shop there but was completely ignored by the sales staff for over thirty minutes. I guess texting and updating their socials was more important than serving a potential buyer. Most recently, I called to schedule a service appointment for my Jeep. At the time I scheduled the appointment, I was told that a service rep would call me prior to my appointment as I had questions about the planned services and associated costs. No one ever called me. Later, I called and left a voicemail message with my cell phone number requesting a call back. No one ever called. If you own a Jeep and need service or you're in the market for a Jeep, I highly recommend that you find another dealership. read more

I purchased a 2024 Durango from Stoler Dodge on May 18th. Great experience before I paid for the truck. Worst experience after I drove it off the lot. Their sales staff is unresponsive and unaccountable. I will not be buying another vehicle from them. Three trips to them to have running boards installed. Two left side boards were sent to them by Mopar, then left side board was defective, 3rd time there they finally got them installed. Each time it was 100 miles round trip and I waited a total over 5 hours to have them installed. In fairness, the issue was not caused by their service department who were extremely apologetic. However, after the first trip to have them installed I asked the General Sales Manager if the boards could be shipped and installed at a Dodge dealership 10 minutes from my house. His response was no because they would have to pay them. No customer service skills. The cashier's check I used to pay for the truck was more than the cost of the truck. Stoler Dodge was supposed to mail me a check (almost $1000) within 2-3 weeks for the overage. After the 3rd week I emailed my salesman (Chase) twice, called the business manager (Diane) and emailed her twice, and emailed the General Sales Manager (Dwayne) over the course of a week. I received zero responses from any of them. I called Dodge's Corporate office and was routed through 5 different people before being told they couldn't help. They advised to go to Stoler Dodge in person which I did - another 100 miles round trip. I finally received the check 5 weeks after purchasing the vehicle. read more

Attempted to purchase a Dodge Viper from Len Stoler Chrystler Dodge Jeep Ram. Got my finances together, got preapproval for the loan, and reached out online. Chuck LeDuc emailed me to start the process of making the deal. Monday AM, I leave a VM requesting pictures and service history details from the car. Not only did I ultimately get neither, but I had to circle back with Chuck to get a response at all the following day. I did get plenty of statements in his response about "its beautiful" and "let me know how we can transition to ownership" and "is this the car for you", however. Basic inexperienced salesman. No interest in your questions or helping you ensure you're buying the right vehicle. All he cares about is getting you to the dealership to try to sell you the car. For a car that is nearly 20 years old, they had no records on file to to support the purchase of the car. Lastly, upon showing intent to move forward with the deal and make the 90 minute drive - I was only then informed that I was unable to test drive the vehicle until AFTER purchase. How does that make any sense? Not sure why they would buy a Viper from auction if they are not capable of facilitating a transaction to sell it. I showed up shortly before 1030, and left 1240..... with absolutely zero reason or excuse for how long it took they pretty much just said sorry and let me leave with my car... they told me I could go without thing which would have been nice if I didn't already have to pay nothing because I got tire coverage when we purchased the car. read more

Service Department is horrible. They don't communicate with the customer. I brought my 2021 Jeep in to have a part replaced at 7:30am. Was advised by Malcolm it would take a couple hours but it will be fixed today. So I left the vehicle and was told they would keep me updated. I explained that's my only means of transportation and I needed it back today. I even asked for a loaner vehicle and was advised they don't have any available. He promised it would be done. Hours have passed and no phone call, text, or note sent by a pigeon. I called at 2pm and once again Malcolm said it will be complete by 6pm and he would call me to keep me updated. Now it's 5:50pm and again no call. I called and was advised Malcolm left at 5pm and the only other advisor was on the phone but they would leave a note for her to call me. Again no call back. My advise to everyone is take your vehicle to another Jeep dealer. Don't deal with Len Stoler Jeep service department. read more

Worst dealership experience I've ever had, period. I drove my truck in to have the hydraulic clutch system replaced because the one I installed was difficult to bleed. I had just replaced the clutch myself, from flywheel to throw-out bearing, and all in between. First, they told me my pressure plate was bad, then, when I told them it was new, I was told my clutch fork must be worn. I had to inform them that I didn't bring the truck in because it wasn't functioning, but as a preemptive measure. It drove fine, but the hydraulic system needed bled a little as the clutch engaged a little too soon for my liking. They replaced the hydraulic system, but now the clutch doesn't disengage at all. They claim they will need to remove the transmission and inspect the clutch to figure out what is wrong. I physically drove the vehicle into the dealer and had previously put about 50 miles on it after the clutch replacement. I had to pay a tow company to tow it back to my house from the dealer. It was not drivable. The dealer actually made it worse, to the point that it can not be driven. To top it off, they threw the old parts away so I can't put them back on. They offered to do nothing other than to charge more money to tear into the transmission. The mechanic was Matt, and the service manage is JD McDaniels. Both are useless in my book. I bought a Jeep here about a year ago. It will never visit Len Stoler Dodge/Jeep and I will never step foot in there again. read more

I had been having issue after issue with my Jeep and my local frederick dealership was not helpful at all. With little mileage left on my warranty, I tried Len Stoler. Each time I went in I felt like I was listened to. Their mechanics were quickly able to realize something wasn't right. This was the worst auto service experience I have ever encountered. A few months ago, Len Stoler changed the oil in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. About 4 weeks after, I noticed there was oil on my garage floor and discovered a leak from my Jeep. I took it back to them to find out where the leak was coming from, which turned out to be between the filter housing and the oil cooler. I did a little research both online and with another mechanic only to discover this is common with Jeeps and usually caused by tightening the filter cap too tight. It is a design flaw with the Jeeps and when changing the oil, the cap should only be hand tight. The dealer told me it couldn't possibly be their fault as they only tighten by hand. I asked for the parts and discovered the cap is more than hand tight, or one brut of a man tightened it. (Wish I thought to have them check the tightness while I was still on the lot). They were not willing to discuss. When I asked if it is wasn't cracked when the oil was changed, what does he think happened. He said it probably just wore out. This is a piece of plastic with zero moving parts and only 4 years old and it wore out? Then to throw a little more salt in the wound, I was charged $839.08 in Labor. I spoke with them on late Monday afternoon and they did not have the part but by 8:19 am on Tuesday the Jeep was ready to be picked up. Doesn't seem like many hours were required to replace the cooler and that the labor charge is excessive. So what they want me to believe is, it's just a coincidence that the leak started shortly after an oil change, exactly when over tightening seems to be the major cause of these leaks. read more

Took forever to pull the car from the blocked in inventory, they didnt bring the model or color I was looking for, had no reading materials or content covering the 2020, and flat out ignored my wife and kids. Also, try asking anything about eco-diesel and see where that gets you. Wish I could say this is unusual for the dealership, left Len Stoler and drove to Koons in VA the next day and purchased an 80K truck. The job situation drove us out here and because I never had a "real" car before I bought a Challenger SRT before we left California. I get it serviced here at Len Stoler and haven't had a bit of trouble with them. They get me in fast, do excellent work , are easy to work with. I have about 120k on the car and it runs and looks brand new. I see a Jeep in our future and we'll be getting it from Len Stoler. I trust them. read more

I purchased a 2015 wrangler last month. I was not informed that the vehicle only came with one key until after the paperwork was signed. I was then informed that a new key could be made easily and it could even be duplicated at Walmart, which as I found out was not the case. I called a local dealership and I was quoted $275 to have a new key made since it is a chipped key. I emailed the salesman at Len Stoler to express my disappointment and to see if anything could be done but he never returned my email. I emailed him again and did not receive a response. I then emailed a manager at Len Stoler twice about the situation and did not receive a reply to either email. And the vehicle they sold me has a mechanical issue with the clutch. read more

Was told that to look at the car it may cost $400 for diagnostic services .? when in fact my warranty calls for a $100 deductible which includes diagnostic services for a covered part ! I have 3 issues with my car one of which I'm sure is covered under the Car Warranty.... of course the service manager got offended when I suggested he could possibly find a part and fix it and say it was not covered..? And charge me 400 anyway..?? I wasn't born yesterday.. I know how some people can be , this was just an observation. Len's Stoler's management and back office team was slow, demanding and extremely unresponsive took over a month to complete a simple cash deal because of all of their additional requirements and delays and when I tried to reach out to them not ONE manager answered my calls, emails or messages, specially Richard Sell whom I must have tried to reach on over 4 different occasions. its been over 4 weeks since they had received the funds to purchase the vehicle and to this day I am still awaiting important documentation necessary to put this vehicle to work. Took the car in the first time, and they didn't order the correct parts. I was told it would take 5 days to order what they were origionally suppose to order. Two weeks later they finally have the part, and say it's going to take 2 hours to install. I drove up there 5 hours later, and they were just getting finished. All I needed was an fuel adapter bolt installed. I was charged $350 just in labor. I don't have a choice about buying parts from them, but I would never let them work on my car again. I was never given an estimate before hand either, or I would have taken my car to Midas. No way should labor charges be that expensive for a repair like this. read more

The process of the sale is very smooth, The financing process is also smooth, but if you are not careful they can really feed off of you and you are stuck with it once you sign. In all honesty they do what they are supposed to do. You just have to make sure you come fully prepared and have done research and get financing pre-approved before you come in. I believe her name is Karen. Seemingly to be perpetually annoyed with the world, Karen has a VERY POOR 'tude and shouldn't be permitted to have direct customer contact. Because of her dismissive, indifferent and unresponsive demeanor, I chose on two occasions to take my car elsewhere for servicing. Because new car buyers would necessarily deal regularly with Karen, I am not even considering purchasing a car from that dealership. Particularly the Finance Manager, Diane Morely, who ran a hard check against my credit report *without my permission*, then lied about it. I was very adamant that I was not intending to finance the car with them. After my credit report showed that they had been fraudulently accessing my information the general manager had the nerve to say that they had the right to access my information without my consent. What's worse is that they sold me a vehicle that had a fuel pump recall on it, saying that "it's no problem at all.. Just take it to a Toyota dealer and they will fix it right up for you." Wrong. Toyota still has not fixed the problem, but has issued a public warning saying that the vehicle can simply stop anywhere and not restart again --potentially raising the risk of crash. Go elsewhere. We had agreed in principle to purchase a used Jeep Compass Trailhawk that this dealer had on cars.com. Had numerous emails with Chuck "the smuck" a sales and leasing consultant. Forwarded him a Copy of the DL, insurance, and loan approval letter. Said we'd be there Saturday to pick up the Jeep, did I mention it was a 225 mile drive for us? 8:30pm Friday night Chuck the smuck says everything's good to go, car is being washed, and will be ready for you in the morning. 8:45am Saturday morning we get a call..."the car is sold, but we can try to workout a deal on something new" No thanks we're coming for the car we agreed on and we're a half hour away, and how does a car sell before the dealership opens? Then text message from the smuck...we can put you in a similar blue one for the same price". Get to the dealership and we're told policy is first come first served...I tell them that's &$&@#% up and they threaten to call the police on me. So I would think twice before dealing with this dealer as it seems they're not good to their word. It seems like they tried to use a classic "bait & switch" on us. New Ram 2500 delivered with check engine light present after salesman decided to leave. Business Manager did not provide routine OBD II scan to diagnose a P0562 Code prior to a five hour drive with brand new vehicle. Dealer installed front license plate on steel bumper without inserting plastic pedal for screw contact through square hole in front bumper. This resulted in the metallic screw gouging paint on front bumper. New truck was delivered without bed drain plug 55359234AC installed. Dealership agreed to provide missing plug and paint for gouge in front bumper, but after waiting for six weeks for delivery of small routine parts, all that was received was an incorrect drain plug which did not even cover the drain hole in the truck bed. This part has delayed installation of a necessary bedliner in truck and should be present on the brand new vehicle at time of delivery. Truck tire pressures were set at 80 psig (cold) in front tire upon deliver. Ram specifies 65 psig in tire. This resulted in poor steering response until corrected. It was stated to register truck as Class 3 over three separate occasions during purchase. Registration was received six weeks later with incorrect Class 4A registration. Do not expect this dealership to follow through and do what they say they are going to do to complete a transaction without significant hassle and waste of time. Several phone calls over the course of six weeks resulted in no definitive action by the dealership to remedy very routine missing items. 1 read more

I called very very last minute for an oil change this week. Not only were they very accommodating and nice but I was out of there with plenty of time to spare to get to where I needed to be. The service guys recommended I replace my air filter (I knew it would be time). Reasonably priced and still very quick. The lounge where you wait is nice too.
