Company did nothing about the issue and their only response was that they didn't steal it. There was no one else in the apartment during the move, it's been over 6 months every box is now unpacked and the bag is absolutely not in any of the boxes and nowhere to be found. I moved all my other designer or expensive items myself and forgot this new purse because it was still in the shopping bag. I had to go to work while the movers were coming. I left the new purse which was still in the shopping bag sitting on top of a arm chair in clear site, while I was at work during the move, my partner was with the movers and was unaware that the bag was sitting on the chair so he didn't keep an eye on it. When I was off work the move was finished and when I asked my partner where the bag was, he's said he hadn't seen it. The arm chair it was sitting on was moved, and everything else was moved. The one designer item I made the mistake of leaving in my home while this company was moving my stuff was stolen. I waited to post this review as I hadn't unpacked every single box, and as a business owner I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and be sure I hadn't mistakenly packed the new purse somewhere and forgotten, now that I've unpacked EVERY SINGLE BOX I'm 100% positive that this purse was stolen by this coming. No one else was in either my old apartment or the new one asides from them. Not one other item was lost during our move, only the one designer purse. These guys showed up with minimal supplies, parked their red Tesla, in my driveway, blocking in both me and my neighbor, despite there being ample parking directly in front of our house. It never crossed their minds, that blocking this communal driveway might be an inconvenience to the people who use it. How can a moving company arrive at a job underprepared, then bill the customer for procuring the very supplies they should have initially provided? Furthermore, we were charged by the hour for the two employees who went hunting for supplies. While two movers went supply hunting, and little to nothing was being done in our home, we were charged an hourly rate for 3 movers, because the moving company failed to bring necessary supplies, and by "supplies" I don't just mean boxes. I'm talking about the scissors, tape, tools, dolly, etc. We had been pleading with them for weeks to provide us with a detailed receipt because the charges for supplies were so inflated that we suspected an error. It required our assistant doggedly pursuing them day after day before they finally furnished us with an itemized receipt. This is not an honest company. It is poorly run, with poor leadership. If Yelp allows it, I am going to attach a copy of the invoice so everyone is able to take a look at exactly what this moving company sent us, the inaccuracies and inflated charges. They gave me a unit for very very cheap on promotion and were extremely professional and friendly and accommodating especially after being taken advantage of in my commercial lease with my previous landlords.
