We were in constant communication to make sure that the Barbie costume and event package was everything that I was hoping for. "Barbie" showed up on time and looking fabulous! I received a phone…read morecall from William 2 days prior to my event and he confirmed that I will be receiving exactly what I ordered the next day (the day before my event). All my rentals arrived the afternoon before my event, except for the cotton candy machine which I then found out it was broken and they were "trying to fix it". We told them not to worry about it, we will take the snow cone machine instead because we would hate for the cotton candy machine to break or something while everyone was here. All the tables and chairs were disgustingly dirty. 409 and Mr Clean sponges barely did the trick. The tables are rusted underneath and so are the chairs. Most of the chairs were wobbly and uneven. You only get one flavor for the snow cone machine and you don't get the actual paper cones you're supposed to put the ice in so we had to use plastic cups instead- even though the website promises to give you everything you need. Our event was on October 5. Today is October 24 and we still have all the rentals in our home because no one has come to collect them despite my many text messages to William- who actually stopped even replying to me completely. I'm convinced their business isn't going so well so they are using other people's houses to store their shit. I'm sure you can find rentals elsewhere. I don't recommend this company at all.

Most of the party packages encompass a princess theme which includes, a princess and hostess to manage the party from start to finish so you don't have to, tutus and boas, tiaras and wands, dress up gowns and accessories, princess tattoos, princess music and parade, story and picture time, arts and crafts time, a princess gift bag for each child and a personalized gift for the lucky birthday child. There are over a dozen different packages to choose from, each one a bit different from the next. Most of them are for up to 8 children and last about 1 1/2 hours. However, for an extra cost you can add more children and even make the party longer. Also, if there is something that doesn't come with the party package you choose that your child wants you can always add it in for an additional cost. As far as the prices go, most of the party packages range between $225 and $275. A $75 deposit is required to hold the date that you want, but fully goes toward your overall bill. If you like the concept but don't think your son will fly for a princess party, rest assured that Butterfly Dreams also caters to little boys with more suitable themed parties such as princes, pirates and cooking. Plus, they can do themed parties for adults as well, which usually center around tea parties and cooking in most cases. However, if you have your heart set on a princess party I'm sure they can work something out. Clearly this is not a cheap investment, but it would save you time, hassle and probably a little bit of money in the end to have Butterfly Dream Parties.
