Well that couple days turned into a week and then they just didn't call back after awhile leading me on and treating me like my time is not valuable. Marshall is a professional and has been in the realestate game long enough to know better than to treat a customer like this. Especially someone who has said such good things about you. Marshall you make enough money that if you are not interested in doing business with someone , if you don't want to deal with buying a property instead of leading people on , just leave an automated message. Discovered Erica through Yelp !!!…read more So glad we met several years ago. Over the last four years I have used her company several times. In 2016 I purchased a townhouse that was built in 1978. Needless to say it needed some updates. Erica came to the house a couple of times with paint chips to help pick colors, and to measure floors. Then she was available at ProSource to walk me through LVP flooring. I purchased the downstairs flooring in 2018. Erica gave me the fabulous recommendation of doing the entire floor at once. I love the floor so much, I bought another pattern with her help this spring for my upstairs workspace and hallway. Both LVPs are very different, but so beautiful and EASY to take care of. She always has a great list of installers and painters to use. It makes it less daunting to have a professional like Erica to have already worked with them. Instead of being resolved promptly, it took approximately three years of ongoing communications, site visits, and repairs before many of the problems were addressed. The amount of time, stress, and effort required to get the work corrected was far beyond what I expected when hiring a licensed contractor who charged close to $180,000 for the renovation. Unfortunately, one tragic error we only just discovered one month ago: they evidently installed the dishwasher without first putting in the legally required air gap. The dishwasher, operating without an air gap, builds up with standing water, blockages, foul odors, lack of proper drainage, hazardous mold, and biofilm. Over the course of five years, significant mold contamination built up within the dishwasher as a result -- mold we were consuming on our plates, utensils and cups. We have since incurred substantial expenses for inspection, remediation, replacement, and medical evaluations. Several members of our family, including a child, have experienced health problems that we believe are related to prolonged mold exposure. As a mother, I cannot describe the fear and horror of discovering that your child has these terrible toxins built up in his body -- toxins that have neurological, immune, gastrointestinal, and other impacts -- because he has been consuming mold due to contractor negligence. This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone considering this company to instead hire another one. Several contractors never even returned our call asking for estimates; one came & gave a reasonable estimate, then called back & doubled his price. Paul came out, gave a reasonable estimate & said he could start the job the next week. He started demo work on Monday & the job was finished on Friday! And that included him bringing in other guys for drywall & finishing work on the new ceiling. We're going to finish off the work we can (painting & hanging new light fixtures) to save a little money, but we were thrilled with the work from Black Rock; would definitely call them again in the future!

Plus, the trailer was located in Carson City, NV, and I'm located in SoCal. So, I sent out a few requests for estimates through Yelp, and Ricardo was one of the first to respond. I explained the scope of the project, and he said he could do it and had completed two other RVs in the past. He was very accommodating with his schedule to meet me at the trailer for the estimate. He and his crew were very professional; they took measurements quickly and suggested I use a different type of flooring (so glad we did) and even referred me to Landmark Flooring (also great). He quoted a very reasonable price and said it would take one day. On installation day he brought a crew of two other people and arrived on time. Carson City had triple-digit heat that day. Due to the chemicals they used, they had to keep the doors open the entire time, which meant the AC never had a chance to cool the trailer sufficiently. That didn't stop them. They worked tirelessly until almost 730 pm that evening. Ricardo always had a smile on his face and a calm and professional demeanor. The work they did was fantastic! They were very detail-oriented and left the place cleaner than when they came. He explained everything they did and asked if I had any questions - very professional.
