As I had talked to 4 of my new neighbors when their home was inspected they also had the same issues with the plumbing which is was the same company. My inspector found several plumbing issues I will post picture down below. Pretty disappointing on trusting a new home build with had so much issues but yet everyone is pointing fingers at each other and don't want to fix the job. The workers all left trash and all there work things down in my craw space. each company they contract out to help build these home are all horrible half A**work and it's work you can see if under your home. I going to poorly rate each company that was contracted and call the BBB to place a complaint. I have all the pictures to prove their work.

The air conditioner flooded the ceiling in the master bedroom twice, due to sealing the valves wrong. For weeks the room was inhabitable. The roof shingles fell off onto my back deck, and broke the wood tiling. Has to be replaced for safety. The upstairs master bathtub was not sealed properly, the first time using it, it flooded the down stairs, restroom, ruined the lighting, and the carpet. My water heater has had to repaired twice due to poor water lines. Countless hardwood floor titles are beginning to pop up, the carpet is uneven with bare feet. The granite in my kitchen has air pocket bubbles so it is chipping. I feel like I bought a lemon at a huge price tag. So sad, you work so hard for a dream home and it's trash.

This is a trend in the industry , that this builder chose to mimic. This family owned ( no outsiders) company lines their pockets first and pays subcontractors last, or not at all. We love our house and our neighbors. I highly recommend bringing an independent inspector to climb into the home and look for code violations and /or poor work habits. When I first brought a warranty issue to the one person warrenty department I had to wait for the weather to get batter, but when the weather got better , the subcontractors they used changed and I had to wait for the old subcontractors to contact the builder to come by, usually it was unscheduled, but seems to be better now. My initial inspection list that is supposed to be completed in 30 days was completed in 13 months. I still have warrenty problems popping up and so far they are helping me. That is why I gave the 2 star review.

And, when you need to save money, most of the homes have hallways that are just elbow length. Geeze! Lennar at Golden Hills is a nice compromise. You don't have to spend 1M and you have a home that has a spacious interior, modern amenities and a gorgeous design. Granted, you don't see me rushing out to get one but if you want to see some homes that look good, and give you room, these are worth the look see. ---------------- Bottom Line I saw them once. They told us we threw too much toilet paper down our toilet causing the leak, and made us pay for our own plumber. Our plumber said one of the pipes are slightly misaligned, causing a slow back up. After spending 3 hours unblocking the pipe, they agree to send in their plumber the next day who spent 15 minutes checking a clean pipe. He tells us the pipe is good and nothings wrong (of course). Their plumber also told me, next time -- don't call your own plumber, as this is covered under warranty. Toll still refused to reimburse me for my plumber as they tell me this is my fault. We built several properties in Reno from the ground up and hands down, Toll brothers has been the worst. Our neighbors all concur. I've told our business partners, every realtor I come across and our professional colleagues about our issues with Toll. Terrible customer service - Maggie and Lee. Everything is the home owners fault - the attitude is us against them.

When unforeseen issues arose, he was quick to update us on the situation and offered solutions to remedy some of the antiquated and typical 1970's era construction. He tried going behind our backs to acquire a pool table he took upon himself to write into the deal without our knowledge with the intent to keep the item, poorly represented us throughout the deal and the kicker was not paying us monies he blatantly agreed to resulting in a small claims case which resulted in our favor as he is once again-A LIAR! Stay as far away as possible from this guy if you're looking for a smooth transparent transaction. His broker isn't any better as he backs his agents whether they are in the wrong or not.
