They are liars and cheats.

In September 2024, our HOA hired another company also owned by Mr. Garrison to recoat 35 townhomes. We paid a 50% deposit upfront. For two months, we were given constant excuses for delays--broken-down truck, foreman on vacation, etc. Eventually, Mr. Garrison admitted that he had spent our deposit--intended for materials--on personal expenses and no longer had the funds to do the work as promised. He offered to repay the amount over time and made three small payments but then stopped responding completely. It is now June 2025, and the matter is still unresolved. He still owes us a large amount of money, and we have filed a lawsuit. The Better Business Bureau has confirmed other complaints involving Mr. Garrison as well. Given that he is operating under the name Arizona Elite Builders, we feel it's important to share this experience. We strongly advise anyone considering working with this company to do thorough research and proceed with caution based on our experience with its owner.

It was a very challenging time to build with a lack of available subs and serious delays and shortages in materials. On top of that, our home design had some special, unique challenges. We were very pleased and impressed with his even temperament which kept us calm while he kept the work moving forward. We are now living in our beautiful home and are very happy with the results. After six months they are still fighting us on replacement of the counter which has a jagged seam, stains, scratches and a missing corner they tried to rebuild with glue! There was a bath tile that was cracked in half. No one saw that?! We were told by one of the employees that they were aware of the bad seam but the supervisor said "let's see if the buyers notice"! They have insisted on half a dozen occasions that yet another party would like to "put their eyes on it" including the VP who straight out lied and said the seam was cut with a laser. The previous five contractors agreed it was cut with a bad blade. We also had a warped front door that would not open or close, bath fixtures that fell out of the wall, substandard driveway pavers that sunk..... The list seems endless. KHov executives are bold-faced liars and cheats.

He has knowledge on what he is doing, spent some time to make the Fengshui graph of my house, explained what changes are needed for the energy flow, etc. The recommendations Steven gave me some items are easy to do and some were hard, costly, and impractical. He truly cares about the clients and will continue to keep in touch. Changes I did: 1) Moved the appliances with plugs to the good areas in my kitchen and built a buffet shelve extend my kitchen counters,, 2) Put a tall shelve in the foyer to redirect the flow but he wanted the shelve to be in your face and blocking the entrance. It is a very strange placement, but could not do it so I place it on a wall, 3) Remolded my den into my personal office, 4) Guest room #1 has been changed into a dog and storage room, 5) Flipped the living room and built a peace alter, and 6) Hung up a Chinese mirror Feng Shui to reflect the back juju in the front door. I still need to "block" my front entryway with plants or huge rocks and close out my patio area. Steven shared his insights regarding my future my future relationships, health, and overall.
