Some of the most halfassed sorry excuse for craftsmanship a half million dollars can buy. Whoever set my cabinets either has no clue what they're doing, and did so unsupervised, or just didn't care. Or both. On top of that, cabinets are warped, nothing was set correctly to begin with, and whoever thought out the the dimensions for the fridge opening is a complete moron. Literally no fridge on the market will fit nicely - the space is either too short, or too wide. I'm going to give Crown the chance to honor the 1 year warranty, but I've already begun setting aside money to hire a competent contractor that cares and won't use bottom of the barrel materials. Wall studs are twisted to the point of hilarity, pathways aren't square, they didn't put a drain next to the water mainline, so you have to get a wall drilled to run the drain pipe out when you get a water conditioner installed. Stucco is cracking, the front landscaping is hideous, the irrigation is a joke, the included appliances are literally the bottom line GE that Lennar put a Profile price tag on, doors aren't hung correctly, you can hear the heat pump from the bottom of the driveway, the list goes on... As soon as Lennar has your money, any concern or complaint is pretty much treated like you're a pain in the butt homeowner making a fuss over trivial matters. Because, God forbid you expect quality after spending nearly a half million dollars on a house. Fortunately, this isn't my forever home, and I plan to sell this heap for a profit and finally leave California behind. I won't buy a Lennar home ever again.

Since we came in well under budget, we decided to rip them out, and have quality cabinets installed. Upon removing the countertop, in the corner, were crushed Modelo Michelada cans, fast food wrappers, cigarette butts, and an orange Home Depot bucket that had FECES in it! This was in our KITCHEN!! There are so many issues with the craftsmanship of this house that it would be more cost and quality effective to just gut it and redo it ourselves, but after finding this, we're horrified of what else we might find. No supervision or quality control was implemented during construction, and Lennar has taken ZERO accountability. They got our money, it is no longer their problem. All of the new neighbors have mentioned similar problems with quality, and that the claims process is pointless because the contractors that are sent out don't even know what they were sent out FOR. Lennar is clearly a profit driven company, to the point where cutting corners to make more money outweighs any pride of craftsmanship, or quality of work. I am completely beside myself for being taken advantage of. I will NEVER refer Lennar Homes to anyone, and I cannot wait to sell this house and move into something someone cared enough to build right.
