Start of the flooding into the house.
    Larry W.

If anyone is thinking about purchasing a Lennar Central Valley CA Home, we haven't had a good experience. We moved into our new Lennar Home on December 9th (we needed more space for our 7 foster-to-adopt kiddos), and within a few hours, sewage was backing up and pouring out of the downstairs shower like a waterfall. Called the emergency number and a plumber came out. The next day, a couple of the kids went to play out back and came running back into the house yelling that there was sewage floating all over the side of the house and into the backyard. Called the emergency number again and multiple plumbers were sent out; however, the damage had already been done. Lennar stated it was construction debris blocking the sewer line. Just thought I would share, as no families should be subjected to the health hazards of raw sewage, or the resultant damage. One week after we moved in, we noticed the base boards were soaked and damaged in the downstairs guest bathroom. Apparently, the toilet gasket was installed incorrectly and leaked every time the toilet was flushed. This new Lennar house has been a nightmare.

Look at the putty/filler used to fill in the gap - because they used a chainsaw instead of a jig to cut the recesses. Can't adjust at all!!!

Terrible service, no sense of urgency and lack of communication from the Loan department. Stay away and save yourself the headaches.

I'm still not providing five stars only because of the issues with having three flat tire tires from the street sweeper not coming often enough to clear the roads. I told the builder what had happened to me and they did not compensate me even though my tires were not patchable, and I had to literally get new ones and the streets are coming once only every other week did not seem sufficient. But other than that, the warranty department and sales department are excellent to work with and in today's economy I would still consider it a good purchase, especially in the area. It's a good investment.

(Ha, turns out they were the same family) Time was getting short, so we made the move and signed with McCaffrey Homes to build in the Clovis Santerra neighborhood. We were the second or third house built. We spent a good deal of time watching our home being built. I would swing by every day after they were done and look at the day's progress. I was 70 yrs old at the time we built and it wasn't my first Rodeo. I was very pleased with the build quality I saw going into our new home. That quality has paid off. After 8 yrs, I have so far not found any failures in my construction beyond normal wear, and even that is minimal. I have watched the entire area around us be built up by other builders, and believe me, they were cutting corners and doing things that would not suit me at all. The bottom line is this: McCaffrey builds a very good and solid house, and they stand behind their work. It's up to you to make a Home.

5/5 -- Incredible Experience with Bill at BLC Homes…read more We recently completed a home remodel with Bill at BLC Homes, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Bill is one of those rare contractors who combines top-tier craftsmanship with clear communication, professionalism, and genuine care for the final product. From our very first meeting, Bill took the time to understand our vision and offered thoughtful recommendations that made the project even better than we originally planned. He provided a detailed timeline and budget, and he stuck to both--no surprises, no headaches. Throughout the remodel, Bill and his team showed up on time, kept the space tidy, and worked with incredible attention to detail. Every finish, every line, every piece of the project reflects true quality. He handled a full kitchen gut, raised ceilings, new concrete, a complete electrical overhaul, bathrooms, flooring, structural changes, and the transformation is stunning. Our home has never looked better, and we've received so many compliments already. What impressed me most was Bill's communication. He kept us updated at every stage, checked in frequently, and made sure we were completely comfortable with each decision. Working with him was stress-free, smooth, and honestly enjoyable. If you're looking for a trustworthy contractor who delivers exceptional work and stands behind everything he does, Bill at BLC Homes is the one you want. We will absolutely be calling him for any future projects.

We let Bill know what we wanted and he gave us so much more!!! Their quality workmanship and attention to detail completely transformed our home!! It feels bigger, flows better and looks new. The crews kept everything clean while they worked there magic. The job was finished on time (even with us adding unplanned upgrades) and if you can believe it, UNDER BUDGET!! When does that ever happen?? We love our home and we love Bill Cornacchia of BLC CUSTOM HOMES.

Around…read morethe same time frame, all house with the same size plan and same landscape plan, every units has two rows of plants at their front yard window and only ours second row with only two plants which six spot need to be done, missed 4-5 plants. Few days before closing, we saw it and talk to the landscapers working next door and they said they would come back next day to finish it, and nothing was done? After we moved in, we were told we need to file in with customer service and which we did. Later on Granville deny us for asking extra plants and it is not allowed? I walk around the community and 95% same house plan has two rows of plants, and we only have 1.2 rows finished and four spot were not done which is incomplete work and Granville Homes refused to finish the ---incomplete landscape work-----? I ask why all others has two rows of plants and I only have 1.2 rows with 4 spots undone? Granville use a picture to show us a house has only one complete row plant..I request for the house address and phase releasing date to prove it same as my purchase. weather the house is in my community and release time around the same time frame as we purchased. Granville customer service manager Ashlee Perritte and owner Darius Assemi totally ignored many of our e-mails and close the case? They refused to finish the -incomplete works- and refused to prove the photo with only one complete row is similar release phase as we purchased. I requested for proof but no answer again and again!!! Granville using a photo from no where with no date, no address? no phase of release? It is very irresponsible for Granville Homes to treat their home buyers after we bought the house! We don't want any compensation, we just only want Granville to finish the work? Granville Homes just won't finish their work. Although It is a very small job need to be completed, and cost nothing---plant four more plants. It really bothers me a lot is the ugly Granville style attitude towards their home buyer after you paid the house?
