My original closing date was scheduled for May 29, but it has now been pushed back three separate times. Despite everything being completed and finalized on my side, I have received little to no explanation for these delays. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, especially for a first-time buyer. Instead, this process has been stressful, confusing, and disappointing due to the lack of communication and repeated delays. Rachel was my loan agent, and while I understand some issues may be outside of her control, the overall experience with Lennar fell far below my expectations. I would not describe this as a positive home-buying experience.

How is it that PGE takes 3 months to submit the application and GAF takes 3 months to process it and meanwhile my PGE bill is $500+ a month on top of the $30k I paid 4 months ago. I could be making enough interest at my bank on my $30k to pay my PGE bill. I called PGE they say call GAF, I call GAF they tell me it will take 1-2 weeks . . . Lennar . . I told the builder what had happened to me and they did not compensate me even though my tires were not patchable, and I had to literally get new ones and the streets are coming once only every other week did not seem sufficient. But other than that, the warranty department and sales department are excellent to work with and in today's economy I would still consider it a good purchase, especially in the area. (Ha, turns out they were the same family) Time was getting short, so we made the move and signed with McCaffrey Homes to build in the Clovis Santerra neighborhood. We were the second or third house built. We spent a good deal of time watching our home being built. I would swing by every day after they were done and look at the day's progress. I was 70 yrs old at the time we built and it wasn't my first Rodeo. I was very pleased with the build quality I saw going into our new home. That quality has paid off. After 8 yrs, I have so far not found any failures in my construction beyond normal wear, and even that is minimal. I have watched the entire area around us be built up by other builders, and believe me, they were cutting corners and doing things that would not suit me at all. The bottom line is this: McCaffrey builds a very good and solid house, and they stand behind their work. It's up to you to make a Home.

Did that feed your little ego to tell everyone that he left with a "debt", rather than simply contacting him to see how you could help? He obviously tried, to no avail, to contact you to gain clarification! A proper move-out walkthrough should have been done with him so that there was no confusion- that's YOUR job to make sure the tenant knows what to expect- not his! Why not tell him not to bother with his incurred extra expense and efforts, because you will have it professionally re-painted regardless? Paint isn't cheap, nor is peoples time. There are so many missed steps and lack of basic customer service that if done even slightly better, could eliminate these bad reviews (and people's overall opinion of your company- word spreads quickly), but your response only adds weight to his concerns. I bet if you had responded in a professional manner and took the proper steps to rectify his situation, he would probably remove this terrible review and you wouldn't have embarrassed your company by showing how unprofessional and uneducated you are. If you're a "manager" at Granville, it's worrisome to think of how your employees conduct themselves. I know this review was a while ago, but I'm certainly glad I read them all before making the mistake of purchasing one of your homes. My prior home was a GJ Gardner home, and the quality of that home is 100% better than this one. There are doors so far out of plumb they won't stay open. The tiles were beginning to crack because of the lack of mortar holding them down. The exterior cement at the patio and driveways look like they were done by a 5 year old. There are cracks in the plaster everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Granted, this house is about 14 years old, but so was the house I moved from and its condition comes no where close to being this bad. I am now convinced his homes are all show and no go. I ask why all others has two rows of plants and I only have 1.2 rows with 4 spots undone? Granville use a picture to show us a house has only one complete row plant..I request for the house address and phase releasing date to prove it same as my purchase. weather the house is in my community and release time around the same time frame as we purchased. Granville customer service manager Ashlee Perritte and owner Darius Assemi totally ignored many of our e-mails and close the case? They refused to finish the -incomplete works- and refused to prove the photo with only one complete row is similar release phase as we purchased. It is very irresponsible for Granville Homes to treat their home buyers after we bought the house! We don't want any compensation, we just only want Granville to finish the work?
