That's a bubble tea shop by the way - which is why we come to this Plaza often. It's a long strip mall with a couple of accessory stores and a music venue pub and some excellent bubble tea. I like hanging out in this Plaza. But it can be a pain to walk around in stiletto heels for sure. Parking is iffy in that you often have to park kinda far from where you're going because it gets so busy. Speaking of busy I have to go bye.

Good place to get your air conditioned walking in, if that's your thing. Other than that, I can't say I'd shop here. Even the food court only has about three restaurants and none of them are kid friendly. I don't know about your grandkids, but mine sure aren't eating Mediterranean. LOL It really sucks malls are not the norm anymore.

I had already completed order and had now way of contacting, so after I refused to take back an order that a customer had purchased, the little man with a huge ego proceeded to follow me to my vehicle and block my car in with his body. He then waved down a real police officer to issue me a criminal trespassing warning for trying to deliver coffee, even though my record is squeaky clean lol

Well deserved update. My last review was in 2017 and the place was in a nose dive. After 25+ years…read morethey undertook a remodel which added a lot of new archetecual features like new planters with palms,ice rink remodel etc. but 25 years after that it needed a major freshening up and they did. Not only does the mall cosmetically look better but a fresh mix of small shops adds to a new vibrant feel. I'm really glad they took action and even more happy I noticed it. Beautiful old buildings are still the main staple surrounding the square. And I do love old buildings! The vintage bricks. Their big sweeping windows - perfect for grand store displays. And if I'm real lucky they will have original signage on the buildings. That's the part that makes me the happiest. And today I was in luck as I walked along Garlands square - the most beautiful old sign glowed in the night like a beacon drawing me in - it is the Plaza Theater. I stood there in awe. Yes, it was a grand thing to see! And they have many shows there. I just missed Sleepy Hollow. I wish I knew about it, that would have been a treat to see in this theater. Looking at upcoming events I am already making plans to attend some of them. I truly cannot wait! With it being October, pumpkins and straw filled the benches with fall sweetness. And children were playing in the middle courtyard. There's something beautiful about children playing and laughing. so, now I must end this review with a quiet but meaningful statement - Downtown Garland has captured that small home town feel many of us look for. It's called Fat Straws, a local chain, and this might be their original location, it certainly gets a lot of visitors and gets pretty busy and cramped in there. It's not amazing but it's cute, and if you have to come to this Plaza, you'll probably like it. We didn't have too much of a problem with parking. A lot of guys have a problem parking with Barbie though, if they're poor.
