This was our second time at Legacy west we made a point to come back again on the second trip to Dallas. We were super happy to see that the area was decorated for Christmas already and they had a lot of Instagram photo opportunities. We loved all the decor everywhere and all the lights and it was really magical and awesome to experience at night. This area is super fun to be in for a nice stroll and to shop and eat at a really good restaurant. We definitely made a vacation out of this area.

Just when you think there's enough shopping and restaurants,up pops the latest concept. Although open a couple of years, the wet blanket known as the pandemic put a lid on the party for awhile. Not anymore! The word is out that Legacy West is fantastic! What do I like? Great mix of shops Outdoors Fantastic restaurant choices with great food Copious amounts of easy in and out parking Valet Modern architecture If that's not enough, two major north south freeways get you here in the shake of a stick! Go!

I love the ambiance this place has! The fountains and all the restaurants that are in here. You can also do a quick staycation at the Renaissance Hotel, fine and shop and enjoy what this place has to offer. They even have a Reserve Starbucks too! Love all the props they have set up, great for pics.

Jan2024:5: I would come here and shop again. I stopped by this location for a specific store and found that the area was loaded with high end specialty stores. My spouse dragged me kicking and screaming into several of them. There was a decent amount of parking in front of the stores, but there was a parking structure in the rear of the complex. There was a few handicap parking spaces on the main street between the stores as well. My full size truck was a bit bigger than most but I found a spot fairly easy for a few hours. The area was neat and clean that I observed. There was security riding around in a cart in the area.

Wife was in the area for an interview at Toyota. I came along for the ride. Lot of nice places to eat and shop, but my favorite was Legacy Hall ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/legacy-hall-plano ). So many choices! Also noteworthy was Amorino Gelato ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/amorino-gelato-plano ). Most beautiful frozen treat you will ever put in your mouth! And it tasted even better. Wonderful flavors. Bottom line: Very cool area to explore. PS. My wife did not get the job (they hired internally). Blessing in disguise, as this would have been a killer commute from Keller.

What led me to this area? Starbucks. After I had visited where my employer's office in Plano is, I did a quick search for a Starbucks. Google Maps led me to this shopping area. There are parking lots and street parking. I lucked out and saw a car pull out from the latter. I swooped in and parked. Parking is free on the street. Across the street was Earls, which is a Canadian restaurant chain that has moved down south. It looked nice. Legacy West reminds me of Yorkville in Toronto. There are posh stores and some snobby folks around, which made me feel a bit out of place. The Starbucks is actually a Starbucks Reserve. The flowers potted every few steps were gorgeous and made my experience pleasant. It's nice to sit outside, soak up everything, and people-watch. There are a ton of eateries, including a fancy Shake Shack! This area has a number of financial companies, so it makes sense for folks there to come here for lunch and perhaps shop a bit. It was an unexpected find, but I enjoyed looking at the fountains and walking around. (41)

Had a great shopping/restaurant experience this evening with my hubby. We shopped at LV and had an early dinner at True Kitchen

It's there or it's nearby. Parking can be challenging so opt for the parking garage. You'll be happy that you stopped in

Second time we have had a reservation for dinner at a legacy west restaurant. No parking. Had to cancel and eat elsewhere. Never again.

The Luau at Grandscape was disappointing…read more They started out with dancers in cellophane skirts and coconut bras who were very entertaining. After the 1st round of dancing, they had their first hula lesson. Yes, hard to believe that they had 2 hula lessons. After the lesson, the dancers took a 30 minute break while the band serenaded us. Unfortunately, the band quickly ran out of Island songs. There were 3 guys playing. The singer played the ukulele but the bass player and drummer only played sometimes. Lots of people went home during the serenade. Hawaiian Bros had the only food booth (there were supposed to be lots of others). The line wasn't too long, maybe 30 people, but it did not move. No idea why, since their grinds were pre-made and just needed to be scooped into really small bowls. We've eaten at their restaurants so we knew they usually serve bigger helpings. Tahiti style dancing was much better. Their costumes looked authentic. Yes, we've been to many luaus. We reached the time for lively drumbeating but they spent too much time giving their drum "backstories" and a long "drum solo" without dancers. Finally, there was more dancing from Tahiti that was very good. The dancers knew their moves. We left when the 2nd break for the dancers started and the band serenaded us again. This was supposed to last 30 minutes and then we would get to see the dance with the LED lighted poi balls. This is one of the very few times we've left a show early at Grandscape.

We went to check out the Crayola Experience with the grandkids, but we just weren't going to have the time before we had to be at the airport to catch our flight back home to Orlando. Next time we'll definitely be taking them to the Crayola Experience; it looked quite fun. The mall is still in really good shape. Some nice stores still there. Good place to get your air conditioned walking in, if that's your thing. Other than that, I can't say I'd shop here. Even the food court only has about three restaurants and none of them are kid friendly. I don't know about your grandkids, but mine sure aren't eating Mediterranean. LOL It really sucks malls are not the norm anymore.
