Legacy west is super nice - as a native Austinite it reminds me of the domain, but maybe slightly bigger (because there is also legacy east etc.). There are lots of mid to high end stores, eg madewell, J crew, coach, Gucci, etc. The vibe is definitely more upscale. The parking lots are kinda weird/odd to navigate but they do have retail parking (it's intermingled with tenant/resident parking where you can't get in). There are lots of restaurants, from Cava and chipotle to north Italia and other nicer sit down places. Overall it's a nice place to hang in Dallas! read more

This is my second visit to Legacy West. I always have a great experience. The night vibe differs from the day. The parking garage is free but limited to three hours. The outlet has a variety of stores and food options. There are bars in the food hall and live entertainment at the Lexus box garden. read more

Nice open-air shopping center in Plano TX Located in the heart of Plano, Mom and I had a chance to explore the nice collection of shops and restaurants at Legacy West. We wandered down Windrose Ave and stopped at a Starbucks Reserve, one of the few left in the U.S., and ordered coffee (Mom) and a mocha frappe and chocolate croissant for me. We sat at their outdoor seating and relaxed for a bit and people watched, before we started window shopping. For a Thursday afternoon the outdoor mall was busy. We stopped at a Levi's store, they were having a big sale. Mom and I spent some time here and ended up purchasing a pair of jeans each. Lots of diverse high end shops, some names I'm not familiar with. Some yes, I've heard of... not that I can afford them like Tiffany & Co, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Lululemon, Sephora, etc. because when I try to turn up... my wallet says hold up! Anyway, where else can I find a Tesla store next to a Lululemon retail store. We didn't have enough time to explore the entire shopping center... apparently, we missed the Legacy Food Hall. This was our second time at Legacy west we made a point to come back again on the second trip to Dallas. We were super happy to see that the area was decorated for Christmas already and they had a lot of Instagram photo opportunities. We loved all the decor everywhere and all the lights and it was really magical and awesome to experience at night. This area is super fun to be in for a nice stroll and to shop and eat at a really good restaurant. We definitely made a vacation out of this area. read more

Jan2024:5: I would come here and shop again. I stopped by this location for a specific store and found that the area was loaded with high end specialty stores. My spouse dragged me kicking and screaming into several of them. There was a decent amount of parking in front of the stores, but there was a parking structure in the rear of the complex. There was a few handicap parking spaces on the main street between the stores as well. My full size truck was a bit bigger than most but I found a spot fairly easy for a few hours. Wife was in the area for an interview at Toyota. I came along for the ride. Lot of nice places to eat and shop, but my favorite was Legacy Hall ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/legacy-hall-plano ). So many choices! Also noteworthy was Amorino Gelato ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/amorino-gelato-plano ). Most beautiful frozen treat you will ever put in your mouth! And it tasted even better. Wonderful flavors. Bottom line: Very cool area to explore. PS. My wife did not get the job (they hired internally). What led me to this area? Starbucks. After I had visited where my employer's office in Plano is, I did a quick search for a Starbucks. Google Maps led me to this shopping area. There are parking lots and street parking. I lucked out and saw a car pull out from the latter. I swooped in and parked. Parking is free on the street. Across the street was Earls, which is a Canadian restaurant chain that has moved down south. It looked nice. Legacy West reminds me of Yorkville in Toronto. There are posh stores and some snobby folks around, which made me feel a bit out of place. The Starbucks is actually a Starbucks Reserve. The flowers potted every few steps were gorgeous and made my experience pleasant. It's nice to sit outside, soak up everything, and people-watch. There are a ton of eateries, including a fancy Shake Shack! This area has a number of financial companies, so it makes sense for folks there to come here for lunch and perhaps shop a bit. The place gets better and better with new shops being added all the time. New traffic tip. Avoid driving along Windrose Ave which bisects Legacy West into east and west side as much as possible. Speed bumps have been added very close together so one can't cruise through the shopping area. Much too bumping. Park as soon as you can. read more

This strip is good for basic needs. Levis and Free people employees were super helpful!!! Mac staff pumped me up and felt like my personal cheerleaders. The Lululemon wasn't the best but I lived in NYC for 7 years so I was lucky to shop at the lulus there, which were the best all around for styles on site. read more

Absolutely love this shopping area. It is so great that it is outdoor, new, and has a variety of places to shop and eat! I checked out Sephora and Tesla and really enjoyed my experience. I love that Sephora has dedicated and kind staff and they take the time to really help you. I was helped by Ariel who was so knowledgeable and kind. She helped me with picking out a eyebrow filler, lipstick, mascara, concealer, and primer. I spent way too much money, but I got everything I need for the next couple of months! I told her exactly what colors I needed and concerns and she really listened! Also, she shaped and filled in my eyebrows for free!! I love that they have these great services available! Tesla was just a beautiful experience! I absolutely love their cars and the staff was so friendly and patient. I told them that I was just looking and they gave the five star treatment! The Peking can be limited and is located behind the shops, and free just time limited. The area is new and attracts all kinds of people. Fist time at Legacy West. Saturday around noon. Great facility. Great restaurant options. Wanted a beer.... 1st Floor bar, waited for beer 10 minutes. One bartender. Never approached us. Went to 2nd floor. No bartender. Went to 'brewery' on 3rd floor. No bartender. Not cool. Went back to 2nd floor. Bartender at a side bar. Got a beer! Went outside to common area 'tent'. Fun set up. Cold in February. None of the gas heaters were on. Not cool. If I cone back, maybe the place will be better staffed and environment outside will fit the weather. read more

I visited this shopping/dining/business center for work, and also stayed in one of the apartments in the area just a few steps away from the office. There were plenty of restaurants here that I already enjoy (Shake Shack, True Food Kitchen, North Italia, etc) and a few stores that I like as well (Madewell, Barnes and Noble, VS, Levi's). There's also a Starbucks Reserve located here, which could be described as the fancy Starbucks store. WeWorks is next door, which is where I went to for work. At the end of the street, Legacy Hall can be found, which is a massive food hall with plenty of food vendors, bars, and even a venue where events can be held. I am excited for Neighborhood Goods to open up at the opposite end of the street, which is like a food hall but for small businesses/vendors. The restaurants and stores are all lined up in one street and it is outdoor. Unfortunately it was raining at the time we were there, so we weren't able to fully enjoy walking up and down the street. There is a dancing water fountain area, as well as fun jazz music playing in the background. For those who live in Los Angeles, it really had a Americana/The Grove feel but just limited to one street. Parking is free for those who visit (limited to 3 hours). While this place is kind of small, I do think this is a cool spot especially for those who work around the area (as there are many companies around). I can see myself hanging out here frequently when I make the move here to Plano. Enjoy! read more

I purchased two pairs of jeans from the Levi's Store for work- outdoor work. Brittany was very helpful. But Kohl's had some on sale ($39 vs $89) that actually looked and fit better, so I brought them back to this Levi's store. The salesperson asked if anything was wrong with them and I explained that there was a large difference in price and the less expense ones from Kohl's actually fit better. His comment? "Customers always have a choice between quality and value." Huh? So Levi's sells jeans of lessor quality to retailers other than their own stores? Really? I'm not sure if they're trained to say that to the customer or it was just something he thought of on his own, but it was inappropriate. No, it was rude. He implied that I only bought jeans for the price. That's untrue. The non-Levi's jeans I was wearing were $125, so no, my naive salesman, I don't purchase for only "value." We have been considering possibly going out to dinner in Legacy West as the COVID-19 restrictions have been loosened. So we did a drive by on Sunday afternoon. WE ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT dine in this area! Almost NO ONE was wearing a mask and people were walking around shoulder to shoulder throughout the entire development. This area has all the makings of a COVID-19 hot spot due to poor behavior and lack of social distancing. Sad to see people disregard health safety. read more

I like this place because they have a lot of great brand name brands. Especially, the victory secret and MaC are two stores i like best. Me and my coworkers always passed by on the weekend to find good things. They also have a foodcourt with a lot of restaurants and nice fast food. Environment is very clean and professional.
