    Interior Ice Rink

My family and I decided to go to the Galleria Mall. This mall is very big with several levels of stores to shop in and food options to choose from. There is an ice skating rink in the middle of the Mall. It was cool to see different people skating around. While we were there we visited the Netflix House, shopped at Hot Topic, browsed other stores, and lastly we ate at North Italia Restaurant. Overall this mall is a good option for walking, ice skating, browsing, shopping, and eating.

Designed by Gyo Obata (same designers as The Galleria), this mall left me unimpressed. I thought it would be very comparable to Galleria Houston but not so. This mall lacks character IMO. It is just a big mall. No centrally located food court. Instead they have food options sprinkled around everywhere. The main reason people love food courts is because everyone can choose something different but still sit together. Multiple parking garages. Anchor stores Old Navy/Banana Republic/GAP and Macy's are great. About 215 stores including some luxury stores. I love Dallas in general but would love to see some renovations to this 40yr old mall.

First time at the Galleria and it was a lot to take in. This place is so big and there's so much to do. They have an ice rink at the lower level, which has some restaurants. The 2nd-4th floor has the shops and other restaurants as well. I like how their food court is not overly busy with food choices and there are other eating options in other parts of the mall. It looks like they're going to open soon with the Netflix experience, so I can't wait for that. Overall, a really nice place to check out. Plus, they do have some Haagen-Dazs if you wanna walk around and eat ice cream.

Took my nieces for a "girls' afternoon" shopping trip, and Galleria ended up being a great pick! The mall is clean, bright, and thankfully not overly crowded. I even noticed they still have those old-school mall guides...which came in handy. It's three levels of shopping, with a good mix of staple stores (Nordstrom, Macy's, Abercrombie, Banana Republic, H&M, Zara, Sephora, etc.) and some fun finds sprinkled in. I'm not much of a mall person these days--like many people, I tend to do my shopping online--but when you need to try things on or just want the in-person experience, this is a nice option. Plus, there's an ice skating rink on the main level, very cool!! Parking was crowded but manageable. We lucked out and found a spot up front right away. Also appreciated that we could grab a bite to eat just by stepping outside the main entrance. There's plenty of restaurants nearby for when your shopping bags are full and your energy's low. Bonus: Got my steps in for the day, so it's basically wellness, right? Retail therapy = Happy Shopping!

Second time back and this time was for holiday shopping. Getting into the parking lot would have been a nightmare if it weren't for the traffic directors and valets assisting the drivers. Upon entry, you see why this is one the largest and most popular malls in the country!! Side note: they recently added a Netflix experience in the mall (not featured in this post) that I highly recommend trying out. They have everything. And they still have their famous ice rink, note with a massive Christmas tree in the middle. As it is the holidays, value is subjective. Things were marked up for the occasion, but there were some high value sales. Service worth noting, a young lady who worked at Urban Planet with a strong New Jersey accent was exemplary. The debit card system had crashed and she helped me and other customers to an ATM, held my selections until I came back (and I was gone for hours because I ended up stopping at other stores) and had my items all ready for me. Top notch.

Mall in the center of dallas with many stores and restaurants, and a nice skating rink that was decorated for lunar new year. Prices are like any other large mall in a city. Parking is free with garages and lots around the entire perimeter of the mall. Selection of clothes and other things is great. The mall is super clean too.

This mall is SO BIG. So many options food and shopping. And an ice skating rink. If you're ever in the Dallas area give this mall a try, you will not be disappointed

Visited both days during my trip to Dallas. Four story mall with just about every store you can think of. Lots of dining options. There is an ice skating rink too. Multiple parking garages. Mall was very crowded.

It is a beautiful outdoor plaza conveniently located on Belt Line Rd, right off the Dallas North Tollway. Always seems clean, well-manicured landscaping - great photo spots! Wide variety of restaurants and bars to cater to different palates - Sushi, Seafood, Mexican, American, Indian, Italian - and that's not even all! Trust me, you will find something there to enjoy! No shortage of entertainment either between the movie theaters, sports bars, and pubs - Boutiques for shopping, a few day spas to choose from, well you get the gist of it! On this particular visit, I went for their second Annual Pairings in the Parkway event. For $25 (in advance, $30 on day of event) we got to sample a food and drink pairing from seven restaurants in the Parkway - The offerings are listed below. It was a good value to be able to sample some choices from so many restaurants. Event itself was not overly packed so we were able to get through most of the restaurants very quickly (individual reviews of those to follow). I was a little disappointed though, that when we went to turn in our completed food passport at the end of the event to enter into the drawing for a gift certificate, the event tents were already packed up and gone by 4:30 pm although the center stated the event ran until 5 pm. Let me tell you, Village on the Parkway is WAY better these days than it ever was. They have a few businesses that have been open since the early ages of the shopping center -- Ernie's, Kitrell Riffkind Art / Glass, Mallasadi, and Subway. The shopping center was near death when a few new businesses brought some signs of life -- Bed Bath & Beyond, and TGI Friday's, and Blue Mesa. After that, better businesses start arriving -- so now there's Grand Spa, 24 Hour Fitness, Sherlock's Pub, and a larger, more popular selection of restaurants. The architecture is Mediterranean-inspired, with fountains, gazebos, wide boulevards, and landscaped walkways. My favorite is a little walkway behind Gloria's that's private and romantic -- I think they still light it up at night so it's even prettier.

The reason I am giving it a one star, is because there is not much to do, it needs a lot of updates and it's just so dead. The vive is not good at all and it's just a bunch of old memories that were left in this location! If you do not know what happened to this former Mall, here you go: Bloomingdale's, closed in 1990. The space remained empty until JCPenney came in 1996, but it later closed in 2013. By that time, two out of three of Valley View's other department stores (Macy's and Dillard's) had closed. The last remaining anchor, Sears, closed with several other stores in July 2017. The building's parking garage was demolished soon after, and now, only an AMC theater, a few art galleries and pizza joints, and a smoothie shop remains. However, there is talk that within the next 10 years, if Amazon do not accept the bid on building here, most operating stores will close too. I am very excited to see how this all unfolds, there are a few renderings and propositions on creating a MID TOWN high end with state of the art galore for us to enjoy! That would be very nice! I placed a $250 order and received a pair of pink shorts from the limited Special K-Pop Demon Hunters one-time collaboration for my niece's birthday. The item arrived visibly stained, snagged, and pilled. It looked unmistakably like a worn return that had been carelessly repackaged and resold at full price. This was not a minor flaw. It was obvious damage. Because this was a one-time collaboration piece, it is now completely sold out and will likely never be restocked. That makes this situation significantly worse. The only "resolution" offered was for me to return the item for a refund -- meaning Zara's error cost my niece her birthday gift, and I am left scrambling to replace something that cannot be repurchased. I contacted customer service twice -- once via chat and once by phone. Both representatives repeated the same scripted response: return it. The phone representative was dismissive, audibly annoyed, and spoke to me in a condescending tone, as though expecting basic quality control was unreasonable. A global retailer should not be reselling damaged returned merchandise without proper inspection. And if this reflects broader fulfillment practices, that is deeply concerning. A quick search of Zara reviews shows that complaints about inconsistent quality and poor customer service are not new. Unfortunately, I can now confirm this firsthand. I hope this review reaches someone in leadership who is willing to address what appears to be a recurring operational failure. It is unfortunate, because Zara appears to have a strong selection of children's clothing and exciting collaborations with major brands and cultural franchises. However, partnerships of that scale deserve fulfillment standards that reflect the value of those names. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering again.
