I was having difficulty making an appointment online, so I called and was able to get an appt the next day. I arrived on site 10 min before my appt time and filled out the appropriate paper work. I didn't have my referral papers printed out (I had a copy on my phone) but was able to upload it to their portal they sent me via text. After all the initial paperwork was completed, I was sent to a waiting room. I waited less than 5 min and was brought in promptly for my appointment. There is a parking lot in front but when I went for my appointment early afternoon it was pretty packed - so depends on day/time of day and when you go if you'll get a spot. read more

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! I was given a prescription for both ankle and foot. They made a mistake in the request for approval, kept lying about it and never addressed the issue. As a result - I never had the MRI for the foot because of how they handled it. The manger, Susan, say one thing verbally and then disappears and never solved the issue. Additionally, they gave the radiologist the wrong imaging! My doctor had to ask them to reanalyze as everything was wrong. Go somewhere else and better - a different company. read more

This site do not take you in if you are 15 minutes late, I was told by the person who answered the phone. I drove to this location because it had parking on site, as to closest location meter parking could be annoying if One doesn't know how long a procedure will take. I walked in, customer service was nice, everyone was professional, the site was very clean and spacious. They worked very fast and did what I was referred to do. The machines are kinda cool, I like how all the technology is painless. The whole process was done on time and I was able to get back to work on time. The entrance to the parking lot is on Bell Blvd. As I read a review here, I saw that for some reason doctors want us to have mammogram before a sonogram, I really do not understand it. I did traveled to the Dominican Republic to have a sonogram done since I absolutely refuse to do a Mammogram. As my doctor said, the sonogram is only done if the mammogram shows there is an issue, so me thinking, well, that means that a sonogram is more clear of a test, why not just jump to the sonogram?!!! So, I paid, traveled and go to the point faster. Sadly, many of us have to travel out of the US to get fast and/or economical health services. Which, I do get excellent medical care in the Dominican Republic when I need to. Is a get to the point approach in the DR. read more

Extremely fast and modern i fell so i needed assistance and this very kind young lady Chantel helped me she took complete control i never had to get up she brought everything to me and she even said the wait was about 20min and they called my name xrays took about 10min the tech was extremely knowledgeable i highly recommended them !!!! read more

This was a disappointing experience at the Bayside Lenox Hill. I have not experienced this at other Lenox Hill locations. Think twice about scheduling here. From my experience, I uploaded all of my documents weeks before my appointment. I arrived early, paid my deductible up front, sat down patiently and quietly, and waited .... waited while five other patients were seen before me. I took off the time Lenox Hill told me it would take for the procedure (45 minutes). I needed to return to work. While patiently waiting, five patients walked in and four of them walked out to go home. After 50 minutes of waiting, I was told the technician is calling the referring doctor to find out exactly what they want to see. There is a clear referral. This is incredible since the referral was uploaded in the Lenox Hill system weeks ago. Who would wait thirty minutes of the patient already waiting for their scheduled appointment to call the doctor to ask what the doctor wants to see? This is incompetence and incredibly negligent. That should have been clarified when scheduling the appointment to make sure the appointment is made at the appropriate time. I will never again visit this location, and I will encourage my loved ones never to visit this location. read more

Very surprised by the good reviews considering they have 2.5 stars on yelp. The desk staff was lovely but the technician absolutely terrible bedside manners and just didn't feel cared for as silly as that sounds but just didn't feel safe considering im getting a pretty intrusive exam done. I didn't get her name but the technician barely spoke to me like i had to ask if im supposed to do this or that, i didn't even know i was done until i asked and she said oh yea... The exam was also painful but to be fair some women experience discomfort but i still have my legs on the stirrups with nothing on down there and the woman says nothing and just starts throwing out the napkins AND THEN OPENS THE DOOR that has a direct view of the bottom half of me where it's not covered. I had to shuffle quick to cover up and she just walks out. And i'm supposed to assume i'm supposed to put my clothes back on and that it's done because she doesn't say anything. And she did this all in front of student who's still learning and the STUDENT was the one to hand me wipes to clean up. I never write reviews but i feel like a very intrusive exam deserves some sort of care and ive just never felt so terrible during an exam like that. read more

I needed to get an X-ray and this was the most convenient location for me to go to. Upon reading all the negative reviews of this particular Lenox Hill radiology center, I was honestly a bit hesitant going in . I sat in my car and was honestly going to go to the another location that had better reviews. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went in anyway despite the fact that all their review were bad and I'm glad that I did. The receptionist was very kind and courteous, and we even joked for a bit. The x-ray techs were so nice and respectful. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was okay. They were fantastic. As far as how long I was there, I can say that I was in and out within about 25 minutes. Take the chance and don't base your decision to use them or not based solely on negative reviews. More people should post their positive reviews. read more

Think twice before bringing an elderly loved one to Lenox Hill Radiology in Bayside. My 71-year-old father, who is diabetic with a history of strokes and suffers from hyperglycemia, had an abdominal MRI scheduled for 1:00 PM on April 19. We followed every instruction: completed the pre-appointment forms, confirmed via their link and phone call, arrived at 12:30 as directed, and my father fasted for 6 hours despite his serious health risks. When we arrived, we were told the MRI technician was "on lunch" and might return in 20 minutes. The only person on site was the front desk operator, she genuinely tried her best. I saw her repeatedly calling and texting both the technician and the manager, but there was only so much she could do. By 1:00 PM, still no technician. At 1:15, I finally spoke to the manager by phone. She first blamed us, falsely claiming we hadn't confirmed the appointment. When I pushed back, she shifted the blame to their call center and internal systems. Even worse she admitted that she had been trying to reach the technician since 12:30 PM and that he was simply ignoring her. Imagine that a supposed healthcare facility where management has zero control over staff, and patients are left in limbo in dangerous health conditions. At 1:30, likely realizing we might escalate the issue, she suddenly altered the appointment time in their system from 1:00 to 3:00 PM "for clinical records," clearly trying to cover herself. The technician didn't arrive until after 2:00 PM, with no apology or explanation. When he started the MRI process that was almost 2:30 pm and it was finished after 3 pm. My father had fasted for over 8 hours and the lack of urgency or concern from the staff aside from the front desk was incredibly disappointing. My father began to show clear signs of low blood sugar weakness, dizziness, the situation was really scary. This location is not safe for elderly patients or anyone with serious health needs. The powerless front desk staff was the only one who tried to put some effort. The technician was cold, robotic, and clearly unconcerned. The manager didn't even try to offer compensation, a formal apology, or anything resembling human decency. read more

I get there at 4:10 and they tell me they stop taking walk ins at 4pm....they should put that on the message when you call now I wasted my time and I have to come back another day. read more

This is really 0 stars. Very poor and horrible experience. The receptionist as soon as you walk in are so rude and dismissive. They try to cut you off if you try and ask a question and yell "sign your name and have a seat." Very sad that these people don't have proper training in 2023. You'd think they will smile more and learn how to interact with people better in these times. I sat in the waiting room for about 30 mins over a CD that they were to burn before hand as I called earlier. They claimed they never received the request. Very ridiculous. Unorganized. Unfortunately I don't recommend this business because their scheduling system does not work. We wanted an early appointment so the first appointment was for 8am - great! we received numerous emails telling us to expedite the check in process we needed to fill out the forms online. We filled it out and continued to receive more emails requesting the same thing. Then we received numerous emails telling us to be there at 730am. We rushed there since we don't live close by. We get there and door was closed on the door is a signage saying to call is we needed access to the facility - we did but not response. Also there's signs stated that they open at 8am NOT 730pm. After waiting for them to open at around 745am we were finally able to get in. I know it's only 15 minutes but the concern is WHY would they make us come at 730am If they don't open until later. We asked and the receptionist said that there facility doesn't open until 745am SO WHY NOT POST THAT OUTSIDE AND FIX YOUR EMAILS STATWD THAT!!!!!! read more

This place does NOT value its patients' time. It requires its patients to arrive 30 minutes before their appointment, but they were behind for hours. I thought it was just me, but while waiting in the reception area, some patients/family were already complaining about how long they had been waiting (more than 2 hours and one had to come back). The receptionist and technicians were also unprofessional as they were talking about their office issues in front of the patients. I had to leave and was unable to be seen after being there on time. For some reason all staff look sleepy and very slow. I've been waiting for x ray for more than a hour. They keep saying 5 mins but no one came. It was most uncomfortable experience. This place is a sham. My freshly post partum wife had an absolute horrible experience at this site and felt traumatized trying to get help for an abscess to be drained in her breast while in terrible pain from engorgement and mastitis. The ultrasound tech or assistant who aided the doctor had at least 15 bangle bracelets on each arm and one or more swiped my wife's nipple and I heard her shout from the other room and didn't not seem apologetic. It's like they didn't know anything about breastfeeding and were dismissive of my wife's heightened state w and barely made eye contact with my wife or explained the process to her. When she asked the doctor questions or the ultrasound tech they were dismissive and did not have any bedside manner. She was meant to have lidocaine to numb the area and when the doc started the fine needle aspiration and my wife cautioned her that she was in pain the doc stated that she was already "in" and that essentially she would just have to eat it and deal with it. My wife was in such pain and in such a state of over exhaustion from being so freshly postpartum, even when she asked for help to lean up from getting up from laying on the exam table it seemed like it was too much to ask to have help sitting up and getting off the table. Then we were told that we could leave. That we need no follow up and that she should pump and dump. My wife is a doula and lactation consultant. This place was unprofessional and continued to advise us at the front desk that there was no follow up and no post operation care instructions and no re cord of the days events were recorded or provided to us or in our online portal. Since we were so unhappy with our care we decided to follow up with a different physician. When we tried to access our files on my chart, the online portal, our file was completed incorrectly. They said she had a chip placed and a post procedure mammogram as well as given post op care guide which none of those things happened. They also said they would culture what was drained and never sent it to pathology even though they said they would. They are running a terrible operation and we would advise new moms with breast issues who are looking for continuous and birth/postpartum sensitive care to go somewhere else! Zero stars read more

Poor customer service, the receptionist was rude and gave me an attitude. I made an appointment for a sonogram only as per my primary doctor request since I'm only in my mid 30s and mammogram is not needed. Got there, they charge my CC $$$ about to go in and one of the staff/nurse tells me i need a mammogram done too. There was no mentioning anywhere that i needed a mammogram too. When making the appointment nobody told me that i need to do both, and when i got there they wont do the sonogram if mammogram is not done. (mammogram needed to pay extra money) I already paid for the sonogram came all the way there for the sonogram, for nothing they wont do it because i also need a mammogram. So i wasted my time to go there for nothing. The receptionist was just so rude i just dont feel like going back there plus i havent get my refund yet which i will need to call to follow up. Asked me if i wanted to do another appointment for tomorrow? i took a day off from work to go there and now they ask me to reschedule?! because their doctor left for the day. Great. Came to Lenox hill in bayside to get an MRI and had a separate appointment for an x-ray. I arrived a couple of minutes late and the staff was not only still able to see me, but they offered to combine my mri and x-ray appointments so that I can avoid having to come back a second time. My insurance company was giving me an incredibly hard time about changing the "site location" of the MRI. I sat on the phone with them to no avail. One of the team members here named Victoria called my doctors, the insurance company and anyone she had to. She was able to resolve the issue in 10 min and this is by no means something she had to do for me. great place, great staff and I highly recommend coming here. read more

Cancelled my appointment about half an hour before it, while I was in the car on my way. I missed their call because I was driving, and when I arrived I was told there was nothing they could do. If I can rate 0 stars, I would. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else instead of Lenox Hill. I have never had a more horrible interaction with a company in my life. My insurance required additional information, and can only request it from Lenox Hill since they sent the request. I told them about this information needed on a Monday. I contacted Lenox Hill daily for an update, only for them to tell me they have handled it. On Friday, I discovered they made 0 motions to get this additional information, and acted like they had no idea what I was taking about. Saturday, I was told they received the paperwork and were sending it over. Only to find out the following Monday that my appointment was cancelled yet again. If I can't trust these people with simple paperwork, I can't trust them with my health. I'll be certain to inform everyone of the disappointment they will deal with by scheduling with them.
