This place is rough. They always look to charge me a co-pay even though I confirmed multiple times with both my insurance and Lenox Hill corporate that I should not have to pay. I spoke with a friend and she expressed that she had the same issues. Shady business practice in my opinion. The wait time is inconsistent at best. My first trip went smoothly and I was in and out in a half hour. The second time I went in, they explained that that I could not have the test as I ate and drank within the last 6 hours. What a waste of time. When I went back to get the same test done I had an appointment. I explained that I would be going on my lunch break and would have a limited amount of time. They said that it was not a problem at all but in the end it was. I arrived at 11:10. I sat waiting until 11:40 and then got up to let them know that this wasn't working for me. They proceeded to get on it and took my five minutes later. After they were done, I was late getting back to work. I have never come in late or returned from leaving the building late. Thanks Lenox! My friend who covered for me told me he had a rough experience at this same location. He waited 2 hours before being told that they couldn't accommodate him. They should do better! read more

I paid for Enhanced Breast Cancer detection $40 and didnt get any report at all. When i called them they said it was because i do not have any problem with my results. I said if I paid extra for this screening I should have a tangible report to hold on. Not just a receipt with no paper report at all. I will ask for a refund. read more

This place is horrible! Made an appointment for my premature newborn to get an ultrasound. They said I have to come in right away because it was their only appointment for two weeks. We live far out on Long Island over an hour away so we dropped everything to rush over there. When we got there they said the dr is not there and they can't do the ultrasound. It took us two hours to get home during rush hour and my baby missed his time to eat and sat in his car seat for too long for nothing. The office blamed the call center and the call center blamed the office. It just really sucked. Horrible experience. Avoid Lenox hill at all costs! read more

I never thought I would sing such high praises for a radiology office, but here I am! Coming here ain't fun, but I cannot get over how nice and friendly the staff are. They take the time to answer my questions, explain what's going on, and laugh at my dumb jokes. Special shout-out to Marlese, Tasha, Patty, and Dr. B (and the front desk staff too!), all of whom were warm and upbeat, despite dealing with other people's problems during a global pandemic. Speaking of, the waiting room and bathrooms were cleaned multiple times an hour. There are two spacious single occupant bathrooms for patients to use and they were spotless. The waiting room hasn't been over crowded both times I've gone, social distancing is not an issue. And they don't pipe in annoying music or daytime TV - bonus points for a professional environment! The only downside is it takes a very long time to book an appointment because all calls get routed through a call center (this isn't just the Elmhurst location, but all Lenox Hill Radiology locations). I spent 45 minutes on hold, and another 15 booking the appointment itself. An hour on the phone just to book is brutal. And usually there has been a wait for the visit, sometimes a long wait to be seen - but it's due to the nature of what's being done. My own appointment took longer than expected and I appreciated the time and attention shown to me. No one ever rushed, in fact all the staff seemed fully present and calm, which made me feel calm and taken care of. Lots of eye contact, lots of communication, and my comfort was ALWAYS a top priority. If Lenox Hill Radiology were a man, he'd be marriage material. read more

My mamogram was very quick and the technician was very polite and efficient. I also had a scan for cholesterol problems in my arteries. The young man was very helpful and encouraging during the scan. My Mammogram was done very quick , I give a for them. It was very quickly done . Problem is with the pulmonary center not the radiology.

Sad to say they have 3rd class management , if a patient has walked in it's understandable that there's a 2 hour wait, my appointment was at 2:30 , I reached there by 1:45 because i knew there's always a long wait , they took me in at 4:10 pm Even though I had an appointment, they made me wait so long . After taking my blood pressure I was sitting there unattended for 20 mins, again in Doctors cabin they made me wait for another 30-35 mins . All this time took me for just 2 vaccinations. there was no appointment with the doc. I had to cancel all my other commitments. That's not fair everyone's time is precious not only for people working in hospitals. I will definitely not go back. This was not the first time .its Always same wait. read more

They told me to be there 10:25. My appointment was 10:45. They made me wait until about 12:10 to see the doctor. They also messed up on many other things (the first time I gave them my credit card, they said it was no good, the second time I gave the same one to them, it worked. One of them told me I can drink before the appointment, and later one of them said I couldn't). How could you have so many problems in my first appointment? The only reason I'm not going more crazy is because I'm used to trash service by now (from most people). read more

RADNET used to be a decent place but as of late, their priority is volume production over quality care. Your experience will result in mediocre if not substandard results. The MRi machines break down more than they should which is a sign of old, over worked machinery. This leads to a lot of patient rescheduling. The technicians aren't always that bright or well trained either. I was placed on the wrong MRI Tesla machine for a particular study which resulted in images that were full of artifacts and difficult to diagnose. I tried telling the tech I needed 1.5T but she insisted 3T was fine. I had to jump through hoops to get the study repeated at no additional charge. When one calls to schedule, very often you'll get a snotty inarticulate rep who sounds like they are from the hood with zero grammar skills. Then it took 16 days to get my report posted. The specialist who I had scheduled with didn't have the report in time which impeded my care further. An incredible domino effect followed. This does not include the hours you have to waste on the phone trying to convey your issue. Truth be told occasionally you will get a sharp person but that's far and few between. RADNET should have their license revoked. Stay away. read more

2nd year in a row I have made an appointment for Mamo/Sono at least a month in advance to make it somewhat convenient for my full time work schedule. 2nd time in a row I get called the day before to be told they need to cancel....because they scheduled me a day that there was no tech available. Seriously, the "Call Center" is awful to try and schedule an appointment. They have you on the phone forever. Only to be bombarded with texts & emails to keep filling out the same exact information. Oh, and once you get in the appointment they hand all the same paperwork to fill out, yet again! Why not just go back to calling the location you want your tests. There is NO excuse that the call center doesn't know what day the techs are available at every location. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! read more

I had a humane, caring, informative, smart, and personable technician perform my mammogram. The person who performed my breast sonograms was also great. The mammography machine looked to be brand new despite the fact that the facility is a little run-down (the latter about which I could care less but my point is don't judge a book by its cover). The front desk staff including the scheduling person were lovely and very helpful. I have dense breasts and the experience is always anxiety-producing, my first mammogram showed irregularities and I had to have follow-up sonograms, and that technician (at a different facility) was very cold and harsh as she performed the test...When she imparted the news, she was just awful, zero warmth and very grumpy. This earlier awful experience made me realize just how important it is to have this procedure performed by a consummate professional who exudes compassion and is clearly knowledgable, like the technician at Lenox Hill. Tip: If you have dense breasts, ask your GP or gyno to write a scrip for the mammogram and sonograms at the same time to allay the anxiety that being called back for more imaging can produce. This way, you can schedule both tests for same day and the radiologist can immediately compare the images and know for certain whether there is something meaningful to worry about. Also, it's very helpful to the radiologist for you to provide a cd and the radiological report from former mammograms (at least the last one) if you had them done at an unaffiliated facility, so try and get the cd and report (most places will mail it or give it to you in person without a hassle if you show id). The radiologist can assess without the comparison but it's ideal that they have a baseline mammogram to compare with. I stopped going to a Mount Sinai facility at Cadman Place in Brooklyn (even though that technician was great there too) because they required a faxed scrip from my doctor and yet everyone knows that faxes often don't get received, I found it frustrating (on top of the anxiety that this test produces) to have to check whether the scrip was received and then contact my doc's office to have them fax again only for it not to be received again, it's absurd to make patients and prescribing doctors' staff jump through such hoops. Thankfully, Lenox Hill allows the patient to fax or email or bring the scrip in person, this was enough to make me switch. Another difference and reason to choose Lenox Hill for radiology: Lenox Hill immediately gives this to you at any of their affiliated radiology offices (not just the one where you had the test done) as long as you provide proper ID (takes just a few minutes). They can also mail it to you if you call. Mount Sinai made me fill out paperwork for the cd and radiological report and would only mail it, I could not get the cd in person and they said it would take at least a week. I know I'm rambling, but all these things add up to a better patient experience, which really should be the point. Excellent experience all around at Lenox Hill. Cheers. read more

My experience at Lenox hill was horrible I went in for a ultrasound you expect to have a good appointment and get treated well. This ultrasound person treated me like I was stupid, was not helpful, didn't Greet me, had a nasty face the whole time. If you don't like what your doing especially in the medical field then take yourself out. Ultrasound is suppose to be a good moment and she ruined it. She is the only ultrasound person working there I don't know if she was having a bad day but it was not the time or place to be a nasty person to anyone but I think this is who that women is. I left upset, sad, crying and disappointed at how she spoke to me. The energy was off completely I regret going there, I hope I can save someone else's time from going there. read more

1. Our appointment was at 9:15am and were told to be there at 9am and text "Here" when we arrive. NO RESPONSE to the text. WAITING OVER 3 HOURS to be examined while writing this. A WALK-IN was taken in before the 7 people already waiting. 3. COVID precautions are not well managed. Too many people waiting in the office, for over 3 hours. NOT GOOD! 4. NO ONE answers the phone from the actual site. After holding over 15-40 mins during each call, and a call center answers instead or the actual office, so they have no clue. 5. There is NO ONE to ask or complain to regarding the LONG WAIT, SAFETY ISSUES, & NO RESPONSE, in person or over the phone. HORRIBLE. Technicians name is Er**a (I'm being nice here) and she was RUDE! And she was pissed off at ME, because I'm upset from the long wait. I'm sorry, but is she the priority over patients, and is she doing patients the honor of her presence. HIRE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMPETENT, PROFESSIONAL, AND CARE ABOUT PEOPLE AND DESERVE TO BE PART OF THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSION. I'm a doctor and this is disgusting. 6. Finally, there's NO ONE here to address the wait or safety issues & we're still waiting, on site, AND I've been on hold on the phone (40+ minutes), while writing this. NEVER AGAIN! New office at 88-12 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst. Front desk is organized. The back waiting room staff is totally disorganized. I waited one hour and twenty minutes for a bone density test. There's no one to tell you whether you have to change, so you end up waiting til the technician comes out to get you for your test and then they have to wait for you to change, which you could have done while you waited. And there's no one taking care of the changing rooms. They're a mess. read more

If I could put negative stars I would. Not only is the wait extremely long but they are incompetent. First I went for an X-Ray and that wait was long and then I went another day for an MRI. Even though I had an appointment for a MRI I waited over 2 hours. The receptionists said you can park in the Target garage and they would validate the parking ticket for you. When it was time to leave I waited another 40 minutes, if not more for one of the receptionists to find the validation stickers. read more

Parking sucks. Just street parking and metered in this very busy location. There is a parking lot a few blocks away So it depends on how far the ill person could walk. So be prepared to arrive extra early. The rest of this review is just for customer service. It was horrible. I had an appt at 12 and when I got there they told me it was canceled. They found out this morning that it was canceled. My problem is why couldn't anyone call me? I don't think it's hard to pick up the phone and just inform a person that there appt is canceled. That phone called could of saved me going out of my way to arrange for transportation, get here early and struggle down their ramp with am injured foot just to find out that my appt was canceled and they knew since the morning but they couldn't call. Ummm wowwww!!!!! Probably going to try a different place. Not coming here unless there was no other choice. read more
