My only gripe is that I had to wait an hour past my appointment. It's very frustrating to move your work and personal schedule around for these appointments, to then have to wait. The techs were compassionate when I went into full panic attack mode. If you're somewhat claustrophobic, please save yourself time and this awful experience. I scheduled an appointment at this facility for my mom to get her mammogram as well as the enhanced breast cancer detection (EBCD) and filled out all the paperwork needed for her not to have to do anything except get checked in and make her copayment as my mom does not speak English. When she arrived she was checked in by a very rude lady who didn't even tell her her name, furthermore, the lady decided my mom didn't need an EBCD and set her up in the room without one. My mom left with just a regular mammogram and when I called to ask what happened the same lady was extremely rude to me, telling me that "she can just get one next year I didn't feel like doing all that work" as if that fixes things. I told her my mom already had all the paperwork filled out all she needed to do was charge her the payment and go about her business but because it was a Saturday she didn't want to be bothered. DO NOT COME HERE and do not send your parents, grandparents or loved ones to this careless and horrible establishment who will just mistreat them, belittle them and then gaslight you about whether you need the exams you're asking for. The front desk lady is NOT a doctor so she shouldn't be deciding whether someone needs or doesn't need an exam, and telling someone they can "just get it next year" is extremely irresponsible! read more

Every time I come to have X-rays done there's an issue with machine or the technician isn't available. I live nearby so it's convenient for me since I have physical disabilities. I need X-ray on my knee and feet because I keep falling in the neighborhood. read more

They schedule appointments then when you arrive tell you they never received the script, authorization etc etc etc and then expect you to jump through impossible hoops and do their job for them. I'm seeing why they have 2 stars. I tried calling to see about getting an x-ray. No one answered the phone. The automated system says that you can walk-in to do X-rays. I arrived at the location and they told me X-rays are closed today to call tomorrow. I went for a MRI at 215 E 95th. St in Manhattan on my feet because I had an accident and was sent there, the Technican a female, told me that she is not doing the area that was ordered on my left foot and said she is only doing one spot because it's a large area and she doesn't have time for that, and on my right ankle she asked where was hurting and said that is the only spot she will be doing she won't be doing anything else. My right ankle was very swollen but little better now, but both of my feet is very painful, I am not satisfied because I don't think I got a good examination because it was strange the way she behaved. she was very rude. seems like every time I have to get something done, I am refused proper treatment. read more

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. It is important that the eyes connect upon speaking and arriving....... My experience was not good BECAUSE I had an MRI to my neck area. I WAS NOT given any support....for my NECK! Given the nature of the MRI it stands to reason that a support is necessary. I have been waiting for a sonogram for an hour and a half from my appt time. No explanation or apology. The waiting room is crowded with seats right next to each other and a little flimsy plastic sheet between them. This is the first time at this location and my last. Horrible. appointments are useless. for a 10 minute check-up we were there for almost 4 hours. Had an appointment at 3pm but with previous appointments they suggested to arrive as early as possible in case others cancel. we showed up at 2pm and registered our names. there were 2 ahead of us so we were told and were happy about it. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours we got called. by now us and another patient are last. while there we hear everyone complaint the fact that they make appointments but are never taken care at that time. the other patient asked is anyone going to take care of me? and the clerks or whatever you call them, were always arguing about customers, hours, appointments.. it was just very unprofessional. I have been going here for a few years whenever I need imaging, people have been so kind and compassionate. Today I felt like a slab of meat on the MRI table, I had questions about the contrast dye, was placed in machine...finished that part, I was moved out for them t inject the contrast and I was telling them it was hurting so much, I was ignored and shoved back in the machine for round 2. My experience here wasn't terrible. I was here about 2.5 hours, but everyone was friendly and very helpful. I did not feel rushed, if anything I would have liked it to have gone faster. I had to drink a solution that was vanilla flavored but still it was gross. I waited an hour to be called and when I was called I had to drink one last cup of that nasty stuff. Once I was in the machine I was fine. The tech talked me through everything and explained every step. He was respectful and courteous. I was in there maybe 20-30mins. read more

Was quoted $150 over the phone for an ultrasound, which was half what the other place my doc recommended was. Showed up for my appt. and confirmed $150. Was told it'd be a 2 hr. wait. When I protested that I had an appt., was told they'd skip 5 people and it'd be an hour. Then they tried to charge me $160. I had to be taken to the manager's office to get it back to $150. After an hr. I was told 20 more mins. After another hr. I was told there were a lot of sick people that day. 2 hrs. and 15 mins. after my appt. I was seen, which took maybe 10 mins. One of the worst medical facilities I have ever been to. My physician's office scheduled me for an x ray of my lower back as well as an MRI of my lower back. When I arrive at 8am for my x Ray, I'm told it's walk in only. OK...so I sign in. When my name is called, the receptionist tells me there is no order. So I call my doctors office who said they faxed over the order and had a confirmation saying the fax went through. My doctors office was re faxing the order. After about 10 min, I ask her and she says still no order. Soooooooo....I call my doctors office back and she said again, it was faxed and they have confirmation that it went through. My doctors office said they will re fax it again. After 5 minutes, still nothing. When I call my doctors office again, I give the receptionist my cell phone so she can speak to my doctors office. Miraculously, my order suddenly appears after she dug through a pile of papers. As for my MRI, my doctors office told me that it was for a particular date and time. So I show up and the receptionist...Who started to converse with me in Spanish ( I do not speak Spanish)...then realized that I speak English...Said I have an appointment for a different date and time. This place is highly unprofessional and I do not recommend it to anyone!!! read more

I am so dissatisfied with this establishment. I went for a mammogram in December, and the technician was wonderful. She was truly a professional. After that everything went downhill quickly. It was suggested by my primary that since I had dense breast tissue to follow up with an ultrasound. Trying to get an appointment to fit my work schedule and COVID-related issues was quite tiresome, but I was finally able to get an appointment in February. The radiologist that reviewed same said that I had a "cyst" that needed to be biopsied to rule out malignancy. The report never got to my primary doctor because the address was entered incorrectly. I received the letter in the mail, and was contacted by someone over the phone who wanted me to schedule the biopsy "immediately." I had an appointment with my OB/GYN the following week, and he recommended to have the biopsy done since the RADIOLOGIST recommended same. Thank God I had a nagging feeling about going back here and chose to use NYU Langone NRAD in Garden City. The scheduling person, Maureen, couldn't have been nicer and so professional. She eased my mind about having the procedure performed. I brought to their office a CD with the initial images which they reviewed and decided to do an ultrasound guided core biopsy instead of a fine needle biopsy based on the films. When I went yesterday to have the procedure done the tech, Kim, explained what they were going to do and said she was going to perform an ultrasound before the doctor came in. Needless to say at this point I was scared and frightened and just wanting it to be done. While looking at the screen she started to shake her head and I asked her what was wrong. She said, "I want Dr. Kim to give you the good news, but I'm pretty sure the biopsy is not necessary." What was found on the initial ultrasound turned out to nothing more than a fatty lobule which the doctor believed was incorrectly diagnosed because of the use of machinery that is not breast specific. I am extremely relieved but to anyone thinking of using the establishment make sure you schedule a second opinion elsewhere. read more

No social skills, overcharged my copay, did not acknowledge me at all and was on his phone watching what I think are inappropriate videos out loud in the work place. The organization of this place is so confusing. You first have to check in with a receptionist after trying to find out where you belong and what door to enter. I had to go up some stairs this place looks horrible. I must say the people who work at this office are very helpful and nice they did seem overworked. After i signed all my forms and payed my copay.I waited a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. The staff seemed helpful but unfortunately it seemed overwhelming and like a zoo. After waiting over one hour to get a simple study done i feel i prefer to go to a high end facility and pay my copay and get the study done in a reasonable amount of time. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30pm. When I arrived at 4:00 the young man at the front desk told me my appointment was for 4:45. I quickly corrected him and then he informed me that they were running an hour behind. There was a woman in front of me and a man who had a 4:00 appointment -so I had to wait . He asked me if I wanted to go eat dinner/ run an errand...at first I said no-then I decided that there were some things I needed to do. He said" please come back by 5:30". I left and returned at 5:15 -to my surprise , the gentleman who was scheduled at 4:00 was still waiting! I was shocked that almost 90 minutes later -they were still "running behind". Then a man I guess (the manager/supervisor ) comes out and says -I'm sorry but we're running behind. Every year I have to get testing done and it is usually awful. At least an hour wait and technicians that are overworked and don't have the time or patience to explain what is going on. This was completely different. I had to have several invasive testing done and everything was on time and staff took great care of me. If you want to be cared with respect, this is NOT a place for you. They called in advance remind me an appointment, then leave a message asking to cancel the appointment. Then the receptionist blames you as if it was your fault who kept the appointment. They cancel on you anyways in the middle of the week when they should be busy if they are good. If you need MRI or sonogram but have Prof men's with your mobility, GOOD LUCk! You can't even get there! Place is dusty and is under construction. There are so many better places. I can't make an online appointment because the website says to create an account but, when I try to create an account it says the system can't find me. Huh? I've never created an account! So frustrating. I can only imagine the incompetence at their offices! I only need to know their hours and the best time to go an get an x-ray. CRICKETS. I would go somewhere else but, the prescription is written for Lenox Hill Radiology. Why is the healthcare profession so terrible. It's expensive. I went to Doshi Diagnostic in Washington Heights to have an ultrasound of my baby. This is my second child so I had some idea of what to expect. Unfortunately, the best parts of my expectations were completely disappointed. To begin with, we spent 2 hours!! waiting. The waiting room was crowded and a television played Spanish soap operas with the volume at an uncomfortably high level. When I politely asked the receptionists about the wait, I was told that I needed to "change my attitude." Excuse me? I made an appointment, took time off from work, and I need to adjust my attitude? I was not rude in asking. I did not raise my voice. But that was the response I received. The procedure itself was also quite different than my first (at another facility). They would not allow my partner in the room with me, telling us he could come in later. They placed me on a table where I could not see the screen, then went about their business. This wasn't necessarily a problem, just so businesslike and different from my first experience where both of us were together and could see what was going on. The room was so cold, I was terribly uncomfortable. The two techs spent a good deal of the time discussing the fact they had been so overbooked and had not eaten lunch (it was near 4 in the afternoon!). I genuinely felt for them. I was upset at the wait, but they dealt with such treatment every day. Near the end, they invited my partner in to view. The room was uncomfortably small and it was difficult to see the screen for both of us. We also had wanted to know the gender of our child, but because the techs were so pressed for time and hungry to boot, they only spent about 2 minutes looking and then said they could not tell. With my first child, when they could not ascertain the gender, the facility offered to allow us to come back at no charge just to find out. There were no such offerings here, nor did they seem to care if we knew or not. It was very frustrating. I will never recommend this company to anyone wanting an ultrasound. I am also going to tell my provider not to refer anyone there either. read more

Great place great staff. Visited this location on 4/22 for a MRI, very clean and serene. I had one person ahead of me and one person being treated, so the wait was about 45/55 minutes, not bad at all for a walk-in MRI. The receptionist was very pleasant, she offered me a cup of coffee, water and even an outlet to charge my phone. The MRI tech was pleasant and did her job efficiently, I highly recommend this location. read more

This is a pathetic excuse of a facility, Lenox Hill Radiology at 4120 Broadway, and whoever does their scheduling and paperwork deserves not to have a job. There are hundreds of facilities in NYC. Do yourself a favor and find/choose another one. I'm working around 3 surgeries, which means extensive testing, and my time is extremely limited so proper scheduling is critical for me. After they had the wrong referring doctor - their fault - and canceled my first appointment, and I went through hell trying to get authorization, because they said that's what I needed to do, from my doctor (for whom THEY were supposed to be able to get the authorization but claimed they couldn't - wound up being because they had the WRONG doctor with the same last name) for the second appointment, I called several times to make sure they had everything they needed, was assured that they did, and then got a call after 6pm the night before an 8:50am appointment that they just got the paperwork from my doctor so the appointment was canceled due to no time to get authorization. Well guess what? I told them to cancel my appointment altogether. The person's response was "You're going to have to get a referral no matter where you go." Yes, but I don't have to go to a place where the staff behaves as though they are brain-damaged, which I wouldn't doubt is the case. After working with this staff, I wouldn't trust the doctors here and I certainly wouldn't trust this place not to lose important images and paperwork. read more
