If I could rate 0 stars I would - SO unprofessional. The company is listed as a 24/7 company, so I called to politely ask if I could schedule a late night ride a week in advance, and was told that was "never gonna happen". I then inquired further as to why they're listed as 24 hours, and what the actual hours of operations are (to see if we could still work something out) but before I could finish my sentence, the dispatcher on the other line said "BITE ME" and hung up. I just called this company as a group of nine of us need a ride from our house in New Marlborough, MA to Stockbridge, MA in a few weeks (~30 mins drive). The lady who answered was so rude my jaw literally dropped. She immediately said "no we don't do that" with so much attitude like she was appalled that I even asked. I tried to ask why (was it distance, the area was too far etc) just trying to get clarity on why a local taxi company would refuse with no explanation she responded "how many times do I have to say no?!" This is not a real taxi service. A taxi service has taxis that give people a ride when they need it. I called and asked for a ride from one Local town to another, 10 minute ride, two days in advance. The lady on the phone said, oh no, we don't do that, we're all booked up, the drivers are all in Florida, maybe we do a ride to an airport, more excuses, blah blah blah. So, Patricia drove me from Lenox to the northern part of Great Barrington - 12 miles. When I called, she said that I would get mad at the price, so I offered a high amount - $75, and she took it. I have never bargained for a cab ride on the phone before. I was in a jam b/c there aren't any Ubers out here, and I didn't rent a car. But, she is also the owner, so when I got to my destination, I asked for my change, and she said that she didn't have any. So, I felt a bit forced to leave her a tip. She's a one person operation and names her own price. So, I felt really uncomfortable with the forced tip. Something is off with this business, especially as she told me that she only takes cash. read more

I called up today to say that my gf and I were coming up for a wedding in Lenox and would be staying in New Lebanon, NY. We were looking for a taxi service there and back - how much would that be? Patricia plainly replied back "I won't do it". When I asked her reasoning, she replied "It never works out, I don't like drunks". Nice customer service, Patricia. I had used this service last Summer to visit my daughter at camp. I rode the owner's son and the service was reliable and fairly priced. This time the owner Pat drove us and she was reliable, but the price was outrageous. I had trust from the prior experience so I (stupidly) did not insist on the price upfront and she charged me $250 dollars to take us from Williamstown to Hinsdale and back later in the day. $250 She said something about how expensive the camp is, so I guess she assumed that I am so fabulously wealthy that money doesn't matter. $250 I paid and softly said that I assume the tip (she's the owner) is included in the price. Lenox Taxi is an unregistered, under insured private car with the owner Patricia posing as a livery business. Older black Mercedes sedan without livery license plates. A check of the Lenox town hall did not have a registered business by the name of Lenox Taxi neither did the Massachusetts state department of commerce. Beware of this illegal business! read more

I just called to get information on a pick up and in the middle of my conversation she was clearly annoyed that the timing was coinciding with the end of a Tanglewood concert and cut me off and said "you know what, i'm not available." I called asking for a cab from Lenox to Pittsfield, was asked how I got here, and when I answered uber, Patricia told me to "call them" and hung up. When I called back confused, I was told they were overbooked, and when I said I wished I'd been told that before because I was upset at the way I was being treated on the phone and went to hang up, Patricia said "wait, F*cking Bite Me", and hung up. I was upset on the phone but never once raised my voice or resorted to profanity, so this treatment is inexcusable and unconscionable. read more

Giving one star only because there is not an option for 0. Do NOT even attempt to call this "company". I was staying at Cranwell and friends and I went out for the night. Called a cab around midnight and when she asked where we were going she said with such an attitude that it was $25. When I questioned the $25 fee to go a mile (at most) she became completely rude then hung up on me. When I called back she refused to give us service then called me a bitch. When I asked the bar tender if he knew of any other cab services he said that another party had the same problem and were also staying at Cranwell and that we should call Cranwell to see if they could pick us up. I don't know if this woman doesn't like Cranwell or just plain doesn't like to work. I have never had such rude customer service in my life. Unbelievable! read more

I found this listing while searching for long distance service. I called the number to see if they were driving today because of the snowstorm and to inquire about the distance they travel. I reached Patricia's voicemail. Less than a minute after hanging up I received a call from a cell phone, but they hung up. I decided to call back, thinking it might be a cab company. The person answered by saying "WHAT". I asked if it was Patricia and she said "yeah". I began to ask about their driving distance when she cut me off and said "we're closed". I asked her if they were closed because of the weather and she cut me off again and raised her voice and very rudely said that they were closed again. I tried to speak to her and I could hear her sighing and she then said "good night". When I called the first time her voicemail stated that she was driving, to leave a message and she would return the call. She called my cell back and hung up. Why all of that if she was closed? She was unbelievably rude and had no patience and NO professionalism. I would never use this service and definitely would never recommend it to anyone.
