Buyer beware. I wish I had looked at some of these reviews before I bought my two prescription designer glasses that are useless. I've been trying to work with the store to replace them. The lens quality of one of them is so bad that it is blurry, and you can't see through the lens. The other glasses were uncomfortable to wear as well. When I went to my ophthalmologist, finally, it was determined that BOTH pair of glasses had the wrong prescription! I had been trying to work with the store from the beginning and they kept just cleaning the lens and adjusting the fit and then the 30 day return period expired and they said that there was nothing they could do! The only reason it expired is because I kept trying to work with them. Absolutely no one would ever return my calls, I would call customercare make a complaint and they would assure me that managers would call me back to no avail. No one ever called me or addressed this situation. Even when I went in in person and showed them a note from my ophthalmologist saying that the prescription in both classes was wrong. No one has contacted me! I have had to write corporate the CEO and General counsel to see if I can get any resolution. This was close to $600 worth of glasses with me having a $300 out-of-pocket. At first, I was simply asking for them to remake the glasses; now I am just asking for my share of my money back so I could go somewhere reputable and get glasses that actually have my correct prescription and that I can see out of! I have not been able to use these glasses. They are totally useless. One you cannot see through because of the blurry haze due to the inferior lens quality (and wrong prescription) from the in-house lenses that were from Lenscrafters and the other is simply giving me a headache because it is not the right prescription. I seem to have to squint even with those glasses on. Dollar store glasses are definitely better! Do not shop here! (Noah is very nice but the quality of their product is horrible and Lenscrafters does not standby their products and has no customer service) Maria the manager at the store kept promising me that the regional manager Amanda would call and neither of them ever called me -EVER- despite numerous efforts! Horrible, horrible quality products; horrible, horrible customer service. Find another place! I've been going here since 2018 and now drive from Hollywood to see dr schaffer. I love her! She's super professional, always on time and really cares about her patients. Every year I use the retail store to get new glasses and they always have the latest trendy frames. The lenses are always quick to be ready. I've only ever had one issue with the frames and they fixed for me quickly. Definitely recommend! read more

The only pro I can think of about this place is that since they're located inside Galleria Mall they're open 7 days a week. I found this place online and told my parents to go there. I regret that I came across this place. The only thing they care about doing is selling expensive glasses. They have never worn glasses before but were sold to wear glasses immediately. They were told their vision is good by but glasses will help. Okay! The doctor didn't do a good job on explaining anything to them and just gave very vague responses when they ask a question. The entire visit was a complete waste or time and money. My parents have great insurance and still wind up paying so much money on glasses. They were completely overcharged for their glasses and my mom actually find that same exact lenses online for a fraction of the price. She called Cynthia with concern about the price and she gave absolutely bad customer service. She was inpatient, rude, and very smart mouth over the phone. She told her she will have to come back in as it is harder to do it over the phone. I thought that was completely ridiculous. Cynthia is only nice once she makes a sale but afterwards her attitude sucks and she doesn't care. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! PLEASE AVOID! Thank you for such great service. Last week I walked into lens crafters and asked if they could fix my glasses. A screw was missing and causing to break. The person took my glasses and fixed them. Very appreciative. What you didn't know is that I went to eye store across street. The woman that I asked took a look and said I had to go through her Tiffany's to get a screw. Shout out to the wonderful and FAST service provided by Edith Gonzalez! I had stupidly sat on my glasses, dislodging one lens altogether and bending the lens holders way off-kilter. These are "frameless" glasses except for the top part. I took them in with little hope that they could be fixed at all. But in probably less than 30 minutes, Edith had them ready to go, good as new! And there was no charge for it. This location has fixed other pairs of glasses for my husband and myself, always efficiently and with gracious good service. HIGHLY recommend them. read more

I came for my appointment arriving 10 min early as I was to be a new patient and one always needs to fill out paperwork. I was done with the paperwork by my appointment time. Then waited and waited and waited....45min later I still hadn't been called and Dr. Reece was still with another patient so I left. I don't really understand why Doctors even minimal ones like optometrists feel they can abuse of people's time and good nature in the name of medicine. They should be held to higher standard. Their staff act like you're doing you a favor by being there rather than earning the fees we pay these rude, disgusting people. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the eye doctor here is really great. When I saw Dr. Judith Schaffer, in August, she was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She took her time explaining things to me, and it was an overall great experience. I stopped in today because my eyeglass lens was scratched. I purchased the protection plan, so I just needed to initiate a repair request. The staff was rude and seemed annoyed by my presence. I've never been through this process, so I wasn't sure how it worked. They were not friendly. After I get my repair completed. I won't be back to this store. read more

Eye exam seemed thorough and completely professional. Then I had to make a choice between progressives, which I've had problems with in the past, or bi-focals with a grandpa line. I felt that I was being pushed toward the progressives by the sales person. She told me that her mother took 3 weeks to get used to them. So I need to consider having a grandpa line or be dizzy and nauseous for at least 3 week, perhaps for ever. I asked if I can have a day or so to think about it and was told once I left the store, I would loose the "promotion" and have to pay $50 more, on a single pair of frames and lenses (nothing special about either) that were going to cost over $1000.00 for which I was responsible for more than $500. I walked. Not sure if the salesclerk was full of s-it, or if Lens GRAFTERS is just a rip off. Took my prescription and left. Beware. They will push to sell you a pair of frames that probably cost less than $5 to make and some lenses that you'v told them you have had problems with in the past . Buyer beware! read more

Normally, I'm not a fan of going to large corporate retail places for things like this. I don't like being sold unnecessary things. I just want to get in, get it done, and get out. My experience at LensCrafters and with Dr. Schaffer was amazing. First, I had come in a week before to pick out glasses I wanted which ranged in pricing. Fast forward to the day of my exam. I meet with the doctor, who I feel could be my best friend. She is amazing. I'm not a fan of the eye doctor and she definitely will put you at ease. She is thorough and fast. Once my first part of the visit was done, I went to the lobby to look at my frames. I gave him the SKU numbers and he found my glasses easily. I went with the cheapest pair and felt no pressure to buy the more expensive pair. When it came to my lenses, it was the same thing, no one tried to push anything I didn't want. Of course they asked me if I wanted it but once I said no they moved forward. I appreciate when they know not to beg the customer for things we don't want. I sat back down with Dr. Schaffer, she said everything was great and in an hour I'd have my new glasses. Sure enough, she was right. She laminated my RX for me and sent me on my way. I wish I had a reason to go back, that's how great my experience was. I would tell anyone to go there. You will not regret it. read more

Glasses fast, but not right. I needed replacement glasses before taking a trip, so I hustled down to this LensCrafters location a few weeks ago. The eye exam by Dr. Heather was done extremely quickly, seemingly efficiently, and so I ordered a pair of progressives soon thereafter. I was surprised they did not take the vision insurance offered by my employer, so that was $139 out of pocket. For all the frames they had in the store, finding ones I liked were few and far between. I settled on one since it was aesthetically just OK, although it felt flimsy and cheaply made. The glasses were ready in about two hours and after adjusting them, the optician gave them to me, and my reaction was: You have got to be kidding. Everything was just blurry. When I returned a week later I went to an eye doctor I had used previously, who gave me a _completely_ different prescription. I had the glasses remade at Eyes in Sunrise, they took about a week, and all is in good shape now. So I had my glasses right, but not fast. read more

We had to pick up an Oakley pair of glasses delivered to Lenscrafters located at Pompano City Centre, 2001 N. Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, 33062-1030. Upon entering the store, we were graciosly greeted by a young female associate who pointed us to another one. He immediately helped us with a smile, got our order, while we quickly exchanged an enjoyable conversation with another associate. Upon receiving the box, we thanked him, the person at the corner of the register on our way out and left the store. Outside we opened the box to realize that Oakley had only given us a fabric pouch instead of a hard case. We went back in, that nice associate that assisted us was at the second register to the left of the door entrance door, and we asked him: "(we said his name) and asked: "do you have any extra hard case for these glasses?" Before he had the chance to even respond another associate who was outside the registers counter suddenly said, "Oakley just provides the soft fabric case!". Well, what we learned from this: A Team can only reach Utmost Excellence when all members are true Players! When just one is not, that Team fails! We are sure that Lenscrafters, as a huge and profitable corporation, would have at that location an extra case to fit our pair of Oakley Glasses! But, because of a non-player team member, we left the store without it. We also know that if that associate would let the nice gentleman who helped us to Excellence respond back to us, without his uncalled-for sudden intervention, we would have walked out of that store with the case we were expecting to have from Oakley. Result: We had mentioned to the associate who courteously assisted us that we would soon need prescription glasses and discussed with him about the Doctor at the store, but then, after the incident we will no longer stop by that location for our needed glasses. Well, of course for Lenscrafters losing us as a potential new loyal customer means nothing on the overall size of its customer base, but if I were its CEO, I would really count each potential customer as an important part of my organization and provide to each one of them the highest level of Team Customer Excellence! I had a good experience here. I came with prescription in hand to get a pair of glasses. I told the saleswoman the style I wanted and she picked a few frames for me to try on. I tried on dozens but I ended up picking the first ones she showed me. My insurance covered most of the cost, which was nice. The woman told me that my glasses would be ready in 40 minutes! Wow! So we did a few errands in the plaza and came back. They were done in probably 25 minutes. Super easy experience. The exam is very thorough and the doctor is amazing - very informative, she explains it all, goes through all aspects of the exam and I felt very confident that I was going to have the perfect pair of glasses. The store staff is extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. I chose my frames and went on to payment and measurements. 2 hours later I came back to get my glasses. Giving a two because the "salesperson" wasn't down right rude... but she sure wasn't inviting or trying to make a commission. She asked if she could help me and I informed her I broke my glasses and needed a replacement pair. I showed her my prescription, and she tells me "First of all, your prescription is expired. Second we don't carry those lenses." And she handed me back my prescription. Yes my prescription is 2 years old, and I have high index lenses but man... what kind of customer service is this? I had to prod her on to find out why and she said they are expensive so stores just stopped carrying them we have to order them it takes a week or two. Glasses not right - could not get copies of my receipts spent 800 dollars. Customer service inadequate and stuck with glasses that are useless. designer ones to boot as they do not offer any others! SAVE YOUR MONEY my eyes are blurry when I try to put them on and cannot see a damn thing. The dollar store glasses are what I am using. When I asked for receipts after being told they are faxed and emailed on 11-24-20 neither has been received. When I called to request again they would pick up - hang up without saying anything. ZERO STARS if I could. I guess my tab was just not enough. I did have to pay for them on 2 different credit cards and I needed separate receipts for my insurance.
