The store manager, Dusty, was the biggest positive of my experience. He was very helpful and friendly in getting me the best deal. The other staff were also nice. The doctor I saw, Dr. Miller, did not introduce herself. She also did not ask if I had any questions, ask me any questions, or explain much about my updated prescription. The exam felt very brief and like details were missed. The exam rooms were rather filthy, lots of dirt on the carpets. The glasses around the store were also dirty and covered in fingerprints. Overall, it was average, but could have been much better with Dr. Miller and cleanliness. read more

Five stars aren't enough for the amazing team at this LensCrafters! I was in a total bind--just four hours before heading to a festival, I came down with an eye infection and couldn't wear my contacts. To make matters worse, I didn't have glasses. I called this location in a panic, and the gals here truly saved my life. They got me in immediately, helped me get what I needed, and were so kind and understanding throughout the whole process. I got glasses through here and they didn't fit right after I picked them up. I went back to get them fit and was ignored. I stood in the store for a half hour and was never acknowledged or greeted while two employees sat on their phones. Then, when they decided to get up and work, they went to people who had just walked in and ignored me. I guess I'll be going elsewhere for my glasses. read more

Two visits The first visit First one was for my husband. We walked asking question regarding exm and benefits. Lenscrafters was able to give a breakdown. Within 30 minutes my husband was able to get his exam. Hubbs stated that they were easy going and efficent. The lobby where the frames and front desk is located are clean. Easy to find a style of glasses you like. They could have penciled me as well, but I had to clear something up with my eye insurance. The second visit 02-09-2019 I was able come in on the next Saturday and get my eye exam. My doctor was Stephanie Gelfius OD. The exam rooms were clean. It seemed very fast, the visit, not to fast that you feel like a number, but quick enough to get things done and get going with busy Michigan life. I decided to purchase an extra service. I paid out of pocket for the Digital Retinal Scan, which is $39.99, it scans each eye, so if you have a hard time getting your eyes dilated, which I do, then I would suggest purchasing this service. It does not hurt, it is very quick and it takes a photo which shows all the blood vessels and optic cuffing very clearly. If people who are in danger of high pressure in eyes, are diabetic or have relatives that have glaucoma this would be a good thing to do for a preventive service. read more

LensCrafters suck. No end of issues with them. The first set of glasses I got had the incorrect prescription in them. Had to Go back 3 times to get frames adjusted. In the end they told me just bend the frames myself. Then in less than 12 months the paint on the frames started coming off. A manufacturing issue. They just said they only provide 30 day protection unless I had paid for protection plan. When I spend approx $600 for frames and lens I don't expect these issues. Terrible customer service. read more

Waited and waited for my glasses, they never called me like they said they were to let me know glasses were ready. When i called about it they bold face lied to me by saying they called wich they didn't. Now i understand that you might of forgot or got busy, dont lie to the customer! Makes you look shady. Took prescription here for my son on August 31st. He was getting regular glasses and sports goggles. We were told 7-10 days. We received the glasses within 10 days but the spots goggles, now almost 3 weeks later, are still not in. We've called and been told different dates and even was apologized to for not calling us to let us know it's takin longer. Feel like we are getting the run around big time. LensCrafters didn't really have an answer when looking at the codes from the lab. But have offered to give us money back for it taking so long (only reason for 2 stars). That's fine but we want the goggles already. Disappointing. I will not be going back here. read more

The Woodland Mall Lens Crafters team is awesome, Dr Black did a fantastic job with my eye exam, he was very informative and played a great role in explaining my exam throughly and answered all my questions. Dayna, Hannah, and Allison were all very friendly and accommodating they made buying new glasses a fun experience. After a nearby vision store refused me service because I was a few minutes late arriving for my appointment I called Lenscrafters and got in the same day. Very helpful staff, the Dr. was through and courteous. Only dislike was the fact they added $34.99 to my bill for a 1-year protection plan that I didn't ask for. Will get that refunded. read more

Both me and my wife got our glasses from Lens Crafters in Woodland Mall. Due the sale there were very pleasant and willing to help. Their attitude change when we return to pick up the glasses. They were not very helpful and had a attitude when we questioned the glasses, you could tell they didn't want to hear it. I final got my money back and I'll go somewhere else. read more

I've never had such a pleasant eye experience. Both the staff and the doctor were so kind and great to work with. Usually with eye doctors they are in and out but this doctor really took the time to figure out what was wrong with my eyes, find me the proper prescription, and even brought me out several samples of eye glasses to try on. read more

I made my appointment online for a weekend and got a confirmation email, then I got an email the day before reminding me of the appointment. I was running late, but it wasn't a big deal. I got right in, had super fast evaluations, was able to browse the frames without feeling hustled. The best part was, they figured out the most cost-effective way for me to get contacts and glasses with my insurance. We went and walked around the mall for 40 minutes and the glasses were ready for me to pick up. They are super cute and comfortable and exactly the right prescription. Will definitely be back. You can tell they are genuinely trying to be transparent in their business dealings - not trying to sell you extra crap or upsell certain lenses, etc. Our old eye dr. in town can't compete with these guys - open on weekends, one hour pick up, discounts, takes a bunch of different insurances, and super fast with zero waiting. read more
