Stopped in on my hunt for perfect glasses. I found plenty of options from their wide selection. I checked in and the girl gave me the runaround. She told me to hold on which then prevented me from getting service faster. When she finally freed up I had made my decisions ready to purchase. However that's when she said there was an issue with my insurance and begun to down talk vsp which is funny since I've never had anywhere else have issues. Well she had me call them on my own which is when I learned that they were out of network. It was funny that's when I learned about them being out of network rather than from her when I asked originally. Overall I think it's better to stick with a local team it seems for glasses. read more

STAFF OFFERS MONEY FOR HIGHER RATINGS - DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! Staff at this location have a terrible approach to customer service. I ordered a pair of glasses and was told to expect them to arrive in 10 days. Instead, they arrived a month later. And, every time I called the store to check the status of my order, I was made to feel like I was burdening the staff. They couldn't give me an estimate of when to expect the order to arrive, which makes me suspect somebody forgot to place the order. When the glasses finally arrived, I went to pick them up only to find that they were the wrong pair! The sales associate just looked at me when I told him it wasn't the pair I ordered. No apology or attempt to fix it. I told him that, at that point, I wanted a refund. He immediately said 'no problem, I'll ring you up.' No hesitation, no communication of regret. The implication is: we don't care that we messed up. If you're not happy with our service, take your money and go elsewhere. The sales associate credited me the cost of the glasses in silence and didn't apologize once. It was absolutely wild. I wouldn't recommend this location to anybody. read more

I was a little nervous about using LensCrafters because of all the negative reviews. I'm pleased to say that it was a great experience overall. First of all, they are very convenient if you need an immediate appointment to get your eyes checked (next door). I have a baby and it's hard to plan ahead so I needed to take advantage of my fiancé working from home. I was able to make an appointment with their optometrist for the next morning. It's also very easy to make an appointment online. The appointment itself was quick and easy. Friendly staff, straightforward billing. I already had my glasses picked out (during a previous visit) so that part was simple as well. However, I will say that Patricia was extremely friendly and helpful (and very honest) when completing my order. The glasses were completed within a reasonable amount of time and I was notified via text. Would recommend. read more

I would never recommend this palce. I have shown my perscription to them and ordered two diffrent type of glasses, far and reading. They gave me two both in reading lenses. After double checking with the doctor it showed up that the distance perscription is separate and it is while I have asked the lenscrafter people if the perscription I am providing includes both numbers and they said yes. After I return the glasses and asked for the distance one still they did not recognize that there should be another perscription. It is crazy and it took a lot of my time until I figured out what is going on. read more

Good news, my glasses came in on time. Bad news, I saw double out of the new prescription. The sales staff showed little concern and didn't have much to offer as way of a resolution. They did suggest that I take them home and try to get use to the double vision. Get use to double vision? Really? I gave them a one star because they did stand behind their money back if not satisfied guarantee. I got a full refund but I will never give any business to LensCrafters ever again. It took Alexandria less than 10 min to adjust my frames for the best fit and I was really appreciative of her (and the employee who helped me on Tuesday - so sorry I forgot your name!) for their fast and diligent customer service. I was really anxious about choosing new frames I would love (and actually wear), and they simplified as much of the process for me as they could. I also really appreciated their transparency in inputting my insurance info and being willing to print off individual cost estimates for each pair of frames (+ lenses) that I was interested in. Ordered pair of glasses. Repeatedly asked the store supervisor (heather) if the glasses will reach us within the promised date. The store associate informed that it will take 7-10 business days but more than likely one pair would arrive earlier. I called after a week and the store associate informed me that the glasses would not arrive before the promise date. I bought a pair of glasses and the sales associate informed me that it would take approximately 2 weeks to arrive. Once the two week mark passed, the manager called and informed me that it still hadn't arrived and would be a few more days. After that phone call, I did not hear back from him so I called a few times until a sales associate said my glasses had finally arrived. After almost a month of waiting, I went to the store the following day to pick them up and to my surprise they ordered the wrong pair of glasses. I was really upset as I had been waiting longer than I was told to get my glasses. The sales associate onsite did not apologize or seem to care and just suggested I take the display pair in the store. Not only were the display glasses scratched up but we are also in the middle of a pandemic so taking home a pair of glasses that are not brand new and have been touched was not an option, especially considering how much they cost. The people here are polite but the process is very frustrating. First, I have insurance that covers progressive, transitions and Verilux lenses in full. So when I went to this store I was prepared to pay extra for the frames because I know my taste can be pricey at times. When I placed the order the sales clerk didn't go over the charges, I went over the bill later when I got home. So when I saw that I was paying for an upgrade on the lenses that I didn't ask for I called the store and spoke to the manager. He thanked me for identifying a "training issue" and offered 1/2. But when I'd had a few days to mull it over, I honestly felt that I should not have to pay for an error that wasn't my fault. So when I called their corporate to ask for a full refund on the upgrade - I was transferred back to the store and flat out denied. At that time I decided to wait for the glasses as it had been about 7 days (including the weekend) and I didn't want to begin the whole process over again. Well I ended up having to do just that, because when I got the glasses they did not have the anti reflective coating that I am used to. Nor had it been offered to me - my insurance also covers that. So needless to say I took them back the very next for a full refund under Lens Crafters 30 day satisfaction guarantee For this reason I will never go to Lens Crafters again. There are too many other options in Houston that will offer me better customer care in the event of their mistakes. And beware, the manager believes he's doing the right thing by forcing the customer to pay "half" for something that was not their error. And I wondered why this location had no reviews.
