Really expensive and very poor quality lenses. They developed a crack without dropping or anything that would have damaged them such as the Lens being struck by an object. Experience has been horrible lately. Our family have been customers for years. Doctor left and majority of previous staff also left. The current employees seems so miserable and horrible customer service. Ruby initially had an attitude but after another visit she was a little nicer. The tall short hair Caucasian lady cannot take no for an answer and has an even worse attitude. We Refused the dilation for my daughter's eyes and she kept being passive aggressive about it and just couldn't let it go. The doctor didn't even question to push it. The only decent person left there is the AM Veronica. I think she knows how these people are so she will chime in to smooth things out. The other young ladies in there are pretty cool. But man this location has gone downhill. New doctor Dr. Pontius is really nice though. But I think it's time we take our business elsewhere. read more

10/28/23 AM That Lady that worked at the front desk that morning is rude and not welcoming at all. She got attitude problems. As I walk up to the counter to be assisted I greeted her with Good morning but ended up getting no response. Instead she slammed a clip board with papers in front of me without even saying anything . like "hello ?? what do i do next?' I have to figure everything on my own on that paper. Huge corporate scheduling issues. Made an appointment online for 9:40am. Facility doesn't open until 11am. It's my first time here and I couldn't foresee that issue. Drove 20 minutes to Stockton for it. Some of us still actually have jobs we have to go to and we plan our days off around appointments. Will be completely moving away from using LensCrafters. Their optometrists are independent and amazing, but the corporation is terrible. Update 1 day after incident: I had left a kind voicemail the day of my appointment asking for them to call me back because I was confused. I have yet to hear from them. 4 days after incident: no call back from office, but did receive an automatic email from LensCrafters asking me to reschedule AGAIN with appointments times before they even open! read more

I don't have much to say except for I'm a person with a disability. I rely on public transportation and the bus service here does not run good I was six minutes late to my appointment most doctors give you 10 to 15 minute grace. Right when I got there, they did not even ask my name, they asked what time my appointment was when I told them they said they cannot see me. Jan 2024 review: Stay clear from this LensCrafters as they are extremely overpriced, not to mention the most rude! Laughed at me when I asked a question and made me feel like I was stupid! They lost my records from years past and now only honor their work for strict 30 days. They made a mistake and wouldn't take responsibility for it. My lenses were ordered incorrectly and when I finally got home from the holidays and my travels it was a bit over 30 days and they refused to help me at all and wanted me to spend another $600 for new lenses. $600 for computer lenses??? Are you kidding me? That's not even the frame!!! All because they screwed up on the lenses in the first place. My glasses are giving me headaches and glaring even when I ordered them anti-glare and the blue tint. Which they had neither! I've been a customer for over 15 years and this is how they treat their clients. I HIGHLY recommend staying clear of this location or any shady LENSCRAFTERS ! I found WAY better pricing at Target Optical in Manteca or Costco if you are a member. I bet you will save over 50% on your glasses! They are in the mall and have high rent so they charge more here for everything. Don't say I didn't warn you!!! Never again will I be back here. I hope they go out of business soon! LensCrafters has changed what they've always been known for-glasses in 24 hours. Unfortunately they changed after I had purchased not only glasses but the replacement insurance. Now when I need a replacement suddenly they can't seem to make glasses in even 5 days despite the fact that I am unable to function without glasses and the delay is causing eye strain and headaches. We have called several times and they keep putting us off. The person I spoke to couldn't seem to understand English and couldn't get past the idea that she had spoken to my husband. I did yell at her due to the fact I don't know that she grasped enough English to understand that we have been given different answers by different people and I want an answer for how much longer I have to remain non functional because I can't see. The main LensCrafters contact number won't speak to a person so they can resolve issues, you actually have to email them. Email tag is not customer service, it's a delaying tactic so they don't have to actually help people and the customer usually gives up before they get satisfaction. read more

This was my first time at Lenscrafters and I had a very good experience. I got my eyes checked for glasses and contacts and the process was smooth and informative. The people here were very professional. I did not get pressured to buy glasses or contacts from them. They seemed a little short staffed and had a lag in their system, but they did their best to make sure everyone was checked in, taken care of, and was able to leave as timely as possible. They were apologizing profusely for the wait, even though it wasn't long IMO and it was understandable considering 3 other patients were in line ahead of me when I was ready to buy my frames. Overall amazing experience and I will be coming back again. I wore a mask before going in for my appointment and saw a sign that said masks were required outside of the side door. The mall wasn't open yet so I couldn't see if it said the same from the mall entrance, but I would recommend wearing a mask just in case. read more

I lost a screw on my glasses and needed them to compete in an important event. I checked a couple of places at 5pm on a Sunday with no luck. I went to the lenscrafter at the Weberstown mall in Stockton and they fixed my glasses in ten minutes. The manager on duty was great and her assistant fixed my glasses and didn't even charge me. I used them the next day at a regional competition and did great. It's nice to get great service. I've had multiple sets of glasses here and have had my eyes checked here for years. read more

This store has been closed because of covid-19 which is understandable. Today I called their location in hopes that they could find my glasses that were ordered the beginning of March (2-3 weeks before they closed). The boy who answered the phone was unwilling to look my order up and see where things stood and wanted to take my phone number to call me back. I requested that he look my order up now because I've already waited 3.5 months for glasses that have been paid for since the end of February. So this lens crafters has the worst customer service of any eye exam business that I have ever been to. Absolutely zero customer service very rude very disrespectful very unhelpful. In the last three weeks I have spent $1500 here and I have been getting my glasses at the same location since I was in seventh grade. They called me and told me that both of my glasses were ready that I had to have ordered through Oakley when I got there I was told that only one of my glasses were ready. I asked them if they could fit them on me they told me I needed to have a mask I asked the representative for a mask she told me if I wasn't getting an eye exam they would not give me a mask I just spent $1500 in your store why would you not give me a mask so that you can fit the glasses on that you sold me that makes absolutely no sense this girl is the rudest and should go back on the unemployment line people today I have absolutely no idea what customer service means or how you should treat the people that frequent your business and spend their hard earned money there. I put on the glasses walked around for a little bit realized that the prescription did not feel right I went back in spoke with the same girl after I got a mask from another business she told me it's not their fault it must be the doctors fault I told her this is the exact same problem I had with the last pair of glasses that I got which were also Oakley's she told me to wear them for a week then if they still weren't right I need to go back to my doctor and have them change my prescription which I literally just got the same day that I ordered my glasses. I'm so over rude disrespectful employees that have no customer service and no knowledge of what it's like to actually deal with customers if you cannot do your job go get a job somewhere where you do not need to deal with customers because clearly this is not the type of business that you need to be in you should probably work in a warehouse where you could be by yourself your whole shift. I have the same issue every year. "We can't find you in the system." "Your phone number must be wrong." "You haven't been seen here since 2013." I have been to this specific lenscrafters every year since high school, I have the prescriptions to prove it. The employees are rude and dismissive. When there is an issue on their part, they make it sound like it is your fault and how dare you tell them they are wrong. They are condescending and disrespectful. I come back every year because the doctor is incredibly kind and answers all my questions. I will no longer be a patron here and will be calling the corporate office to file a complaint on the store. It's hard to believe that I have been a loyal customer for years and yet every year it's a fight to get my account information corrected. Expensive to go here, but I like all the selections you can choose from. I got my Oakley Glasses here and they are great. The transition lens work excellent and the fitting is perfect. I dont have to push my glasses up all the time. The workers there are helpful. Great place if you want nice frames, but I recommend getting the protection plan so in a year, you can get a brand new one for only 50 bucks, compared to paying another 400 for a pair of glasses. read more

I purchased 2 pair of glasses to the tune of $1,100. I needed a strong prescription, trifocals and progressives for sunlight protection. When the glasses arrived I immediately told the technician the left side prescription was incorrect. She tried to talk me out of it stating, I "wasn't used to progressives" & "therefore just needed to get used to them" & I didn't need them remade. I then said, "Well why can I see correctly out of the right side then?" "Oh" was the only response received. I left the store frustrated and left the glasses at the store as then prescription was incorrect and hoped to talk to someone who could actually help. I did return, TWO more times within the warranty period, trying to get the issue resolved to no avail. I am now unemployed and have more time to f/up so I returned to the store, AGAIN, to try and get the matter resolved. The manager "wasn't in" AGAIN when I visited. I was told to "come back on Monday" or the "Store Manager" will call you." Someone on behalf of "Nez" the manager DID call me today. They stated that since it's now 8 months, there is nothing they can do, they cannot remake the Left lense OR use the same frames if I paid to have the left lenses remade. Even though the brand new glasses have remainded at their store the entire time, they are saying that I need to also buy MORE new frames if I need a new lens. Really? How can this be fair??? Even though I did visit their store SEVERAL times during their warranty period, to try and get them to make the correct prescription, somehow this is still the customer's fault and we are the visual & financial losers. I am now calling Corporate. I will, "YELP" back if Corporate is helpful. I wasn't sure I was going to write a review of my visit on Fri but I read the others and decided it is a pattern of behavior. If it is communicated enough, possibly the doctor, manager or company will take notice and make changes. I made an appt to be seen to get an eye exam and order more daily use contacts. I was last here close to 2 years ago. Upon arrival a man greeted me and had me fill out paperwork. A little later a young woman called on me and took me back to an exam room. She ask me what I was there for. I told her for new contacts and an exam. She then asks if I want a retinal image. It costs $39 and helps to ensure retinal health. I said yes. She said come up to the machine. I asked if I needed to remove my contacts. She said no. I then asked if the test can detect issues with thinning retinas as that is what I have but she didn't know. I didn't want to pay for a test without knowing so she went out to ask the doctor. When she came back she told me to ask the doctor more about it when he comes in. OK, fine. Next she had me test my vision by looking in a machine at a picture of a balloon. Seemed weird to do with my contacts in. Next it was time for the glaucoma test with the eye puff. I reminded her again I was wearing contacts and shouldn't I take them out?? She know did not know so went out to ask the doctor again. I was so shocked at how this was going. When she came back to the room, I told her that I was leaving. I have concerns about my eyes and my vision. This to me is not an acceptable doctor's visit. I felt like I was at Jiffy Lube with a technician who wasn't qualified to pump gas. I just searched Yelp for a better rated optometrist and there are many. Your sight and eye health is important. The medical field should respect patients. If they don't care enough to properly train the people who are testing you, you are just money to them. Don't go here.....just no. read more
