A bathroom remodel is a huge investment and not without anxiety. Part of that anxiety was that we both dont have an eye for interior design and we needed help. That's where Sarah came in. She was patient and professional with us and walked us through the entire process and helped us pick out fixtures and details that turned out perfect. Once we signed the contract they jumped into action, they immediately scheduled us the following Monday and were in constant communication as what each days work would entail and they never missed a work day from start to finish. Our experience has been a nightmare. I do not want anyone, much less elderly people like us, taken advantage of. We OVERpaid for a project because Sarah sold us on the length of time in business and lied stating they don't use outside contractors. We had a kitchen demo/remodel. First week was great. Communication was wonderful. Week 2, went downhill fast. No communication. Drywaller showed up hours late. Difficult when I had to keep dogs locked in a bedroom. Got drywall all over my floors and hallway walls. Next day showed up 1 hour, again late and no communication. 3rd day the painter. Week 3 (which we were verbally promised 3, no more than 3-1/2 weeks by Sarah) I noticed that the countertops on the blueprints I happened to see left out, were NOT what we wanted. No one EVER went over designs or confirmed anything with us the entire time. Due to medical reasons, we asked for rounded edges and they were bringing in squared edges. We're able to correct that. However, the quartz was NOT grey/white as Sarah stated. Which I brought up at the time of signing, that sample had NO grey or white to which she claimed to have seen the slab and assured us it was indeed grey/white. Now counters installed. NOT what we asked for. Do not match cabinets at all. Then came the backsplash. Informed days before countertops were laid, that our choice was not available. Sent over 3 samples to select from (no countertop to match it with other than the grey/white in my mind we had supposedly ordered. Now, backsplash is too dark. When we told them it doesn't match, they continued the project, completing it with existing backsplash AFTER I asked them to complete the job as completion date grew closer. To finish, they installed the sink, you can clearly see wood through the sink! The bay window does not drain and water rolls down into the caulking. Then the owner decides to leave town on completion, NEVER coming out to address any of the issues. They accepted final payment but refused to sign a letter stating I accepted my contractual responsibility, but I do NOT accept this job as being performed satisfactory. The first night it was completed, we ran the dishwasher, which flooded our kitchen. Again, reaching out, they blamed us for a faulty dishwasher. They sent in a private plumber (as we refused to allow the original back for faulty work) who pulled out building materials from the drains of the dishwasher. Their fault again! They cashed the final payment, and refused to respond to me. The project is nothing like the photo we were shown. We got wrong countertops, wrong backsplash, cabinet doors, day 1, chipping paint and one won't close at all. They charged us for drawers/cabinets and due to mismeasuring, gave us cheap space-filler cabinets to which Sarah glorified them, calling the "cookie sheet cabinets". We are now approaching week 3 of completion and still nothing from the owner. In one photo you see the grey/white choices we were NOT given but told the piece on the far left (beige/cream) was grey/white. They've taken no accountability at all. At our expense, we will need to have another company come in and demo everything to have it done correctly. I've recently filed a complaint on their contractors license, and will filing a complaint on their business license as well as a complaint with the better business bureau. It is also looking like we will be going to court as weeks are passing and no resolution has been made. This project was just shy of $40,000. Now I have a dark, unmatched kitchen that looks hideous with less space than I started with and chipped cabinets, crooked counters, and unsymmetrical recessed lights. AND, they didn't even put in the light switch on the end of the kitchen. Everyday we are discovering more and more faulty work, so it's beyond just cosmetic. This companies lies, cheats and steals your money to get you to sign. Not 1 day in the past month and a half has ANYONE come in along the way or for final inspection, to even address our concerns. Please don't fall for their lies! If I can save one other person their life savings, wasting my time posting this will be worth it! Please note, ALL 5 star reviews are a long time ago! I cannot recommend Lenton enough! Lenton has done my kitchen, bathrooms and deck remodel. And I couldn't happier how they turned out and the compliments received. Early on in the project I met with Lenton to make cabinet, paint, tile and decking selections. They provided me with samples to take home and see how I liked the samples against the light and furniture. The demo process was quick and clean. I have never had a contractor clean up as well as they did. They did a great job of communicating and also coming out to check on the project milestones complete. There were a few concerns I had, they were immediately addressed and resolved to my liking. I definitely recommend Lenton for any project! We have lived in our house for 31 years and finally reached a position in life that enabled us to make badly needed improvements. Our kitchen did not have sufficient counter space or cabinets thus we were storing food and cooking appliances in the laundry room, the garage and upstairs. Our ideal kitchen would require pushing out walls in two directions to accommodate proper counter space and cabinetry along with a large seating island paired with a second prep island. Additionally, we wanted to expand our family room, relocate the laundry room upstairs above the expanded kitchen and fill in the sunken area of our living room as it competed for space around the formal dining table. In 2020, we used the Lenton Company to renovate two of our bathrooms, our kitchen, and a few other small spaces. Two years later, the upgrades have held up well and we are very satisfied with the end result. They worked with our budget and style to help us to save where we could. We ended up keeping the existing cabinet bases and replaced the doors and paint for a more modern look. Their software was invaluable in visualizing the space and how our chosen pieces would look. 1 Star for this company is 3 more than they deserve. I had this company come out and give a quote. I expected a ballpark figure to even consider proceeding with any work. When asked, I Very UNWISELY, revealed a $300,000K budget. Guess what, several months later my quote was at my Very High and Unwisely revealed $300,000K budget. This all after recanting a much lower budget, reducing my design expectations, paying $7,000 for measurements, receiving an almost unusable design, and months of tracking down an actual QUOTE. In addition, the quote I was given seemed to be pulled from thin air with no verification of cost breakdown. I had other professional's follow-up with this company on my behalf and advised me this company was not in my best interest. Do your homework with these thieves. read more

Rob Lenton did a full get job on our Master Bath and it is sensational! Heather was so helpful with design and materials. The office staff is terrific. Polite, professional and kind. I can't say enough nice things about Devin the project manager. He really made this huge job seem simple and effortless on our part. They really went out of their way to make sure our dogs did not get out of the yard. No easy feat. I have done a few room additions and remodels in the part. Hands down the best remodeling experience we've ever had. We've been through 5 major remodels and restorations over the years in various homes and I only wish we could have had Lenton Company do all of them. We asked Lenton to remodel two bathrooms and a kitchen. The A-Z experience felt as buttoned up as it could be and that took much of the anxiety out of a large project and financial investment. Lenton had designers come out to the house and go over all the options for our job, they brought samples of just about everything you could ask for. Their proposal and statement of work is meticulously crafted, so many contractors will give you a page or two of scribal and then come back later with "it's not in the statement of work, that's a change order..." You know exactly what you are paying for with Lenton down to the line item and if something will be a change order or not. Their entire crew did a walk through before they started demo to make sure plumbing, electrical, management, etc. were all on the same page and that the number of surprises would be limited. The only contractor I've seen handle the job this way. You are paying a premium with Lenton but you are getting guild quality labor and from our experience the most coordinated group of remodeling professionals we've come across. I'd happily pay that premium to avoid the nightmares we've had elsewhere. read more

We had Ron and crew, from Lenton Company, come out and remodel our downstairs bathroom. We needed a wheelchair accessible shower for my mother in law, who was coming to live with us. They were fantastic! They worked with us on timing, since we work nights, and they were going to be using a jackhammer, right under our bedroom, to make a proper drain for the roll in shower. From the first walk through to design, to product choices, and project completion I was treated with professionalism and as a valued customer. Customer care does not stop when the last payment has been made. Carrie has called each week during construction and almost every week after completion to find out how things were going, and if I had any concerns and if everything was still working. I was always made aware of costs and when payments were required so that I didn't have to ask. The project manager, Justin Torrey, was always available for questions and was quick to fix anything that might become a problem. Most of the problems that arose were noticed by Lenton company employees before I saw them and were being taken care of before I could bring them up. The workers were there at 8am on the dot and worked a full day, cleaning up after themselves before they left. All of the workers were kind and respectful. The work is flawless. We had a leak from a sink at 8pm one night, I called Rob, and he and his daughter Kendall were there to help in 10 minutes. My Father was diagnosed as terminally ill and died during construction and I was able to leave my house in Lenton's hands every day to go sit with him without wondering what was going on. Lenton gave me worry-free time with my Dad- that was an amazing gift to me. Heather the designer, has a really great feel for what would make your house come alive and Kendall is always there to answer any question you may have. I really can't recommend them highly enough. The pink, 4" 1980's tile is no more! An awesome, modern master bathroom is in now in place. Rob and Kendal make sure that you get value for your money.
