We've had TCC do tons of work both inside and outside our house over the years and once we started working with them, we've never considered going with another contractor. Their work is so high quality, the attention to detail on every project is so high and no stone is left unturned. Tom, the owner, shows up at every project which is impressive on its own but he is also so creative and thinks up tons of ideas for whatever it is we're having done. He takes the time to talk through every detail of the project, suggest ideas for how to make it better and what works well. If you want someone who will be a true partner in completing a project and not just take one or two notes and do whatever they want, Tom is your guy. The office staff is also amazing, I have to give a huge shout out to Jasmine because she is so communicative and always ensures we have every bit of information that we need (and then some) and will answer all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. She's one of the biggest reasons that we go into every project with confidence that it will turn out exactly as we wanted it because Jasmine makes sure everything is done and taken care of. Every person we have had working at our house does such a good job as well making sure things are even better than we expected and then also go the extra mile to do little things like tighten our loose door handle, or sweep extra dirt off the sidewalk in front of our house. We hired TCC to complete our master bathroom renovation. We are at the end of the project with the final touches and are so pleased with TCC. The total project ran about 3 weeks and not once during this time did we ever experience any issues. When I was interviewing contractors, Tom was the most thorough and honestly the most educated in construction than the other contractors. He pointed out several things that we weren't even aware regarding what it would take to complete our vision/project. Tom provided a clear and concise contract, which there has not been one issue with our agreement. Every crew that came into our home to work, were extremely professional and respectful. Wow. I had an unbelievably unpleasant experience with this company. They apparently assumed they were dealing with Deep Pockets when they were called Thanksgiving Day regarding a small slab leak. They tore a big piece out of the carpet and told me that I would need to tear out a tile floor that never got wet! The job Involved 3 days of drywall and painting but it took until last week to even start. Thanksgiving was 8 weeks ago. I must have called dozens of times. They never return calls and when you do get to speak to someone, they can be depressingly rude. Yesterday they came at745 am, no notice, moved all the furniture off the carpet and walked out leaving a mess. Carpet not replaced, I had to call Carpeteria. They really shouldn't be allowed to enter your house. I'd give it zero stars read more

Beware - these folks like to charge top dollar, and seem to like to make a much bigger job out of a small job. I had them come over to review my situation - a leaky toilet had spilled some sewage water between floors - and they proceeded to imply that everything near this leak had to be removed and replaced. Without even looking at the open holes that had been made by their plumber buddy who referred them to me, their lead man Tom just walked around with his fancy "water damage camera," and mentioned that he'd like to rip up the granite floors of both parts of the bathroom, most of the ceiling below, and perhaps the walls of the adjoining rooms - for about $5000, pending what was found. I invited his company to submit a competing bid against other plumbers, and he declined; it looks like TCC doesn't like to compete.... I paid his competitor less than $1000 to do the whole job, which did include some minor floor repair, about 4 x 6 feet of ceiling removal and repair, and all the plumbing. They did what was necessary, and no more - except if you count the two toilet valves they fixed at no extra charge. I call that "taking care of your customer;" TCC would do well to do more of that. read more

I had a water pipe break in my house; it flooded the front formal living room, the back rec room, two bathrooms and the master bedroom. The plumber came out and fixed the pipe, TCC took care of the dry out, remove and replace and all the rest of the repairs. My house was repaired quickly and professionally. I have about 4 years experience in construction and currently lead a crew of my own (different field, 12 yrs) Tom has a crew that I would be proud to work with. They are friendly, efficient, care about customer satisfaction and quality end product. I had a lot of trouble working with my insurance company; Luckily Tom was patient and insightful, he assisted me with the claim and handling the insurance company. The only down side was one of the guys accidentally unplugged the power to my sprinkler system, a mistake anyone could have made. I turned the water up for a week and the lawn came right back, no harm no foul! My house has been completed for a month now; No leaks in the new water heater (installed by TCC), all the drywall was hung well, the texture matched perfectly... miter cuts in the baseboard, flooring, clean and precise. We had new kitchen counter tops and back-splash installed by TCC a couple of months ago. Everything they said that they were going to do, they did! They showed up when promised, did everything promised for that day and cleaned up after themselves. They told me they are the cleanest in the business and I have to believe it. We could not be happier with the work they did, the quality, the customer service and the follow up. There was some confusion and the tile guy thought our new kitchen faucet wasn't working so they had a plumber waiting for us when we got home from work to be sure everything was ok! TCC recently completed a remodel in our house and we are so thrilled with what they did! They re-roofed our patio cover, added a wooden case for our bbq hood, moved outlets, took out and replaced the insulation in our attic space (in order to make sure all the wiring was correct), took off the popcorn on the ceiling, installed a huge fan in the living room, re-did our brick fireplace, added a mantle, replaced carpet with laminate, completely re-did our master and guest bathroom, added baseboard, replaced some doors, painted several rooms, basically they do it all. There is nothing they cannot do! Tom has some amazing ideas...like adding a wood frame to our entry from the living room to kitchen and adding a metal frame to the gap in the fireplace after the brick was taken out. All the guys who came out were great! They were meticulous in clean-up and went above and beyond. We are so happy with what they did. They aren't cheap but excellent work shouldn't be inexpensive. read more

Tom came over to take a look at the damage and gave me all of the information upfront along with a guestimate on repair cost. He was straight forward and honest with me, and agreed to meet with the sellers to remedy the situation. I wish there was a way to split my rating. Instead the overall rating is an average of the performance of the office staff and the guys that actually did the work. After Tom came out, he stated that "the girls in the office would be emailing me an estimate". It took nearly 3 days to get the estimate. When I received the estimate, there was a lot of confusing verbiage around owner supplied items. I spoke with Heather and she assured me that everything was included in the estimate. So on one hand I have a document stating the pickup would be extra and an employee telling me it was included - so which was it supposed to be? I received the contract for the work late on Friday and e-signed (which I love that flexibility!) and returned it. On Tuesday, a worker came out that afternoon and quickly made the template for the counter top. When I asked when it might be installed, he indicated maybe Thursday or Friday. On Friday, I had not heard from TCC about the installation. Allison (the scheduler) she said she had an opening for first thing Saturday morning, which meant a window of 8 - 10 AM. At 10:15 on Saturday, I called and the phone was answered by their answering service since they are not open on Saturdays. A message was relayed to Tom and in a few minutes Dustin called me. He indicated that the counter top was not ready for install first thing and that they had to finish it and polish it so they were running late. I asked why they did not call me to let me know and he stated that he was not aware that they were scheduled for the 8-10 window. He said it was not on their board. He said they were just finishing up and would be at my home within the hour. Which they were. However, the delay in their arrival impacted me being able to get ready for work and I was nearly late. Dustin and the other man (I didn't get his name) were great! They were pleasant and worked very quickly. They explained what they were doing as they went along and kept me apprised of the progress. I greatly appreciated that they brought to my attention that they had inadvertently chipped some paint off the wall. Dustin even gave me a recommendation of a place to get some good glue to put up a large mirror. Very pleased with their work. However, they were only there to install the counter top. Someone else would have to come back and install the faucets. This was not explained to me by the people in the office and I had assumed it would all be done in one day. Dustin explained that I really wouldn't want that done in one day because the adhesive needed to cure and installing the faucets could affect that. Again, I appreciated the explanation. He indicated that I should call the office on Monday to schedule the plumber to install the faucets. At 7:30 on Monday morning I received a call from Alex saying he was on his way and would be at my house in about 15 minutes. I had not been informed that he was coming and I was not home. Fortunately, I was able to adjust my plans and return home to meet Alex and his helper at a little after 8:00. Almost immediately, Alex asked about supply lines. I didn't know what he was referring to and told him that Heather had told me that he would have all of the necessary supplies. He said he would check his truck and if they didn't have them, they would go buy them. Luckily, he had what was needed. He had to make some adjustments on the fly because of the screwed-up plumbing put in by the people that built my house, but he was able to get everything done and working in short order. Along the way he answered my questions and explained things to me. Again, very satisfied with the work. About two hours later I receive a phone call from Allison. She wanted to confirm that all of the work was done and wanted to know how I would be making payment. She couldn't call me to tell me that a plumber would be at my house on Monday morning but calls within hours to find out about payment?!?! So as I said, the workers were great! Did the job, cleaned up after themselves, answered my questions and overall did a great job! The office staff on the other hand ...... did not meet expectations. There were delays in getting the estimate to me, no contact once the template had been made as to when the installation would take place, did not explain that the installation would be done in two parts on different days by different crews, did not notify the installation crew of my 8-10 AM installation window on Saturday, did not notify me of the Monday morning arrival of the plumbers and then called within a couple of hours asking about payment. Definitely not impressed. I would recommend TCC because of their workers in the field - they know their stuff and get the job done. But, buyer beware with regard to the office staff. read more

So I never leave yelp reviews but I'm so pleased with my kitchen that I'm logging on to do just that! TCC has done a beautiful job completely fixing up my kitchen. We had water damage due to a leaking pipe, so they ripped out what was ruined and rebuilt it flawlessly. They also gave us an amazing deal to upgrade our previously tiled counter tops to gorgeous granite. I've always dreamed of having granite!!! The ladies in the office are wonderful- particularly Candace who is super sweet and was always there if I had any questions. Shonn and Jeremy kept tabs on us to make sure we were taken care of. All of the guys who came to do the various jobs in order to make it all happen did great work and I just couldn't be happier. TCC General Contracting is AMAZING! Very professional, super curteous, excellent craftsmanship. Every single person worked together as a team. I felt they were my personal team. Our main backed up and flooded our whole house. Tom and Jeremy made sure the insurance company indemnified us. The insurance wanted to just do the minimum. The team made my house into a home and a santuary to relax and enjoy being home in. They even did extra things that I wouldn't have even thought of. Like putting in a new electrical plug because one side was burnt out, and did some custom cabinet work so my washer and dryer would fit properly. I was treated like I was their only customer.. and they put up with me changing my mind quite often. They made an extreemly stressful event totally worth it. To start off, this review is long overdue. These guys are as professional as it gets. I was up a creek when my house flooded in the middle of the night. I had no idea what I was going to do. I figured I'd go with any local contractor to remodel the house. This would have been a huge mistake. Suffice it to say, I was low-balled by the claims adjuster from the insurance company and I happened to find TCC contractors. They had Jeremy come out within the following day to write up a counter claim. He explained to me what needed to be done and why and dealt with the insurance company. Fast forward a month later and the insurance accepted the counter claim (meeting somewhere towards what I expected.) Due to the adjusted claim, the entire interior of my house was renovated. I choose to spend extra to fix my bathrooms in addition to my living room and I am glad I did so. I had both bathrooms, the bedrooms, the living room, and the entire kitchen redone. They have a specialized worker for every part of the job and each person excelled at what they did. The granite and tile guys did an excellent job. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and through their suggestions and their hard work I have a house that is truly beautiful. I have received many compliments as to how modern and beautiful the house looks. I thank TCC for the craftsmanship and fine detail they put into their final product. Tile redone. Make sure to ask for a new blade to be used. You can tell that the cutting of the tiles was done with a used slightly warped blade considering the slight nearly invisible chips in the tile. The tile guy didn't use caulking around the sink until the plumber guy told him to come back and redo that. The plumbing work I had done seems good and some other plumbing work I had done seems good as well. They seem reasonably priced from the comparisons I've done, however, I think Tom might be able to do a little better on the pricing. Heather is real nice and helpful on the phone. read more

Tom was at my door within hours and his team immediately went to work before additional damage was done. They were all nothing short of fantastic through the entire process. Timely, clean, professional, knowledgeable and kind. I owed them a review for stellar service then.. But getting my home back in order after the ordeal sidetracked me. Fast forward 3 months and here I am again...Our dishwasher busted and took out the kitchen and dining room last week. Remodeled the bathroom and did some repair work for the water heater relocation. They were always on time and very polite. I never had any complaints. My only concern was that the switches for the exhaust fan and light were on top of each other (the covers didn't fit properly). We called an electrician to fix the problem later, and it was converted to a side by side switch with ease. So, there was no way for TCC to know that because my husband insisted on putting the plates on himself, so they really did do a great job. My only advice is, let the workers do everything! Not a good co. I would not work with them again. They do not show up for appointments or call to tell you. Quality of work is poor. I have chips in the granite that they installed. Vey easy fix. I had four separate appointments no shows and no calls. Never called nothing,still hasn't been fixed and it's been months. Three stars for friendly service when you call.
