I can't say enough good things about Wil and his team! He very much understands everything down to the little details. His communication and willingness to appease the customer is second to none. I was looking for a contractor to complete projects in my home and I kept hitting brick walls. Contractors not showing up for appointments to wanting us to accept "their vision" of what our home should look like. So, my husband took over and found Finnegan Construction. He called William Finnegan in January, he said he was booked until mid summer. But, he would put us on a list and if there was a cancellation, he would come out for an estimate. William was true to his word and called us to book an appointment in March, work began at the end of April and finished mid May. Much shorter than I expected and other contractors had quoted. This is exactly how everything went moving forward. He was punctual, patient, knowledgeable and TRUTHFUL about what could be done and what couldn't. He quickly offered solutions to what couldn't be done and they were great. His staff was no different. Dawn his assistant is a GEM. The crew Foreman Geno, Dustin and Gus listened when I had questions, and solved a couple of issues. They were solution oriented, fast, efficient and best of all finished a day after what was originally quoted. There was not a day, when someone or everyone showed up to get the projects finished. They text me to let me know they were outside early every morning that I hadn't opened the garage and they immediately got to work. They also did their best to cover things so the dust didn't ruin other areas. But that sneaky dust made its way throughout the house. So keep that in mind when construction begins. It's been six months and we still love everything they completed. We had sliding drawers, put in the kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops installed, backsplash, cooktop removed and replaced with a freestanding stove and fixtures replaced on the sinks. In the bathroom, we had the tub removed and extended the shower wall to wall with dual shower heads, a bench and ADA compliant bars installed, window minimized, walls/stucco replaced and the walls painted. Their work is top quality, detailed and was completed in a timely manner. The prices are competitive though not the cheapest bid, but I wouldn't have it any other way because of the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of the team. I waited this long for the review because this being my first remodel. I wanted to be sure the work was holding up. But now, I'm looking around for what else I can have done by them. They made me a believer that top notch, quality construction by a professional team is possible. So, if you need them, don't wait book them. WHF Construction did a great job with my Master Bathroom renovation. They swapped the original fiberglass tub/shower for a fully tiled walk-in shower which turned out fantastic. They also replaced all the interior doors and trim in the house. Costs came in as discussed, and the project stayed generally on schedule, though started a bit late due to a previous job running long. Will (owner) and Geno (job lead) were both great to work with. Communication before the job started was a bit slower than I would have liked, but once things got started at the house, this issue went away completely, so no real issue. A few minor clean-up related issues were addressed very quickly and completely. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Will and his team in the future, and I expect they'll be back to my house for more work when needed. Larry, Jason and David did the painting work at our home. They painted all my kitchen cabinets white and the kitchen walls a light grey. They stained a furnace cabinet, linen cabinet and stair rail a dark cherry. I can't say enough good things about these guys and their work.
