Leo's hot dogs at Leo's hot dog stand is BOMB. The Sonoran dogs are amazing and the guys working are always so friendly. Try to learn a little Spanish but if not, it's actually kind of fun to try and communicate with the guys. They are set up in the parking lot of a small strip center after the businesses close and it super cool. They have tables and chairs set up and even throw over some fun table covers. We were craving a late night snack and stumbled upon this true hidden gem of a food truck in downtown Chandler. Their menu is small with only one type of hot dog (their signature Sonoran) but that's how you know it's good. We ordered one Sonoran dog and one of each taco they offered (carne asada and abodaba). They came out fairly quickly and are LOADED! The tacos were so flavorful and every bite had me wanting more. The tortilla had a delicious crisp on the outside. The hot dog was generously filled and I especially loved the bread. The people are sooo friendly and nice! They technically close as 12am and we came a little later - they said that they will stay open as long as there are customers. Definitely want to come back to try a quesadilla and more tacos. WOW! If you've never had a Sonoran Hot Dog before, you do NOT know what you are missing! A.MAZ.ING! I've seen Leo Hot Dogs at this location in passing, but never thought anything of it. It wasn't until I saw a Yelp recommendation that it really piqued my interest. Being that it was located close to where I live, I thought I'd drive down there and check it out. I'm glad that I did! He's located at the corner of Pecos and Arizona Ave. There were tables there in case you don't want your order to-go. Not ever having them before, I blindly went into it and ordered two with everything on it. My Spanish isn't good enough to know what the listed ingredients were and, perhaps, my male ego got in the way and I didn't ask for a translation. You only live once, right? Hah! I also thought that by ordering them "as-is," I'd be getting the full experience of what a Sonoran Hot Dog truly is. When they arrived, they looked glorious. They were overflowing with toppings. Let me tell you, these were the messiest things I've ever eaten in my life, but SO worth it! Believe me, I won't hesitate to go back for these. Side note, when I was waiting for my order, I was watching them prepare other orders. The burritos and quesadillas are huge! I may have to try those at some point as well! I highly recommend that you check Leo Hot Dogs out when you're having a craving hot dogs, tacos, quesadillas or burritos. I later translated the ingredients because I was curious. This is probably the best hot dog I've ever had. If you scroll through all the reviews on here, you'll see a lot of that because it's true. I've had a few Sonoran-style dogs in the area, but this one is by far my favorite. My favorite part is the crispy bun that stayed crispy throughout despite all the toppings put on. I got my two dogs with everything on them, but you can, of course, get them modified to how you want. This little pop-up stand comes in the evening, but you can find it on the corner of Pecos & Arizona. Since the businesses are closed, you can park right in front of them and walk up to the stand. When I came it was rather late in the evening and still there were a few orders in front of me. read more

Wow!!! The very best hot dog I've ever eaten! I've had a lot of hot dogs from all over! These were amazing! Oh my, the buns were grilled golden and crunchy! They had to be for the amazing toppings and my favorite grilled onions and more onions. Just get with everything! Remember cash! $6 per dog, and I would have paid more for this quality. Well worth the trip to Downtown Chandler! Magnificent Sonoran hot dogs! They take cash or Zelle for payment, so plan ahead for that if necessary. There are a few picnic tables under the canopy beside the food truck if you wish to eat your food on-site. The weather is lovely right now for a good meal outdoors! They are situated on the NE corner of Pecos Road and Arizona Ave, and it is a mellow spot with a decent number of parking spots. I will definitely be pleased to return for more! read more

The absolute best Sonoran hot dog! Do not expect to find a restaurant. This is a cart with coolers for drinks, a folding table/chairs under an easy up. With that out of the way, just ease into it and enjoy it for what it is. These dogs are ridiculous! I recommend you let him slap everything on your dogs and get some roasted peppers on the side. So good. Bring cash and have fun! read more

Was in the area to actually get hot dogs from another place but they were closed and HAPPILY came across this stand. Absolute no regrets they were delicious you know a place is good bc of their buns! Very soft yet some crunch bc he put them on the griI just had to get some to go to share at home & even during my 20+ minute drive they were still perfect. He was very nice, es buena gente. It also comes with grilled onions and sauerkraut. This is an excellent dog and they serve it on a Hawaiian bun, which adds a nice sweetness to the sandwich. We couldn't decide so got an order of tots and onion rings. The tots were nothing special, just your standard tots fried to a crispy finish. The onion rings were thick with a lot of batter although they were cooked well because when you bit into a ring, the onion didn't come pulling out with the bite. They serve their food on metal trays which is different but fitting! Overall a fine meal and we'll be back!

They have several filling options and coatings, dirty fries, kimchi seasoned fries, and a whole Boba tea and slush drink menu. They have 5 small two-top tables and a counter you can place your own order on a tablet. Hubby got the beef sausage with the two hands coating and a milk tea, and I got the plant based sausage American style. For the beef sausage Two Hands corn dog, the corn meal was delicious and almost tasted like cornbread. The exterior was crispy and had a great crunch, almost like the breading of fried chicken, and the seasoning was excellent. The beef sausage was absolutely delicious and tasted of a good quality frank. Finally, the ranch cream sauce was very well- seasoned and creamy, not something that would often be considered to pair well with a corn dog. He said this may have ruined corn dogs going forward, as everything else will be a disappointment. The plant based sausage was also delicious and was not spicy as I would have expected since most vegan sausages are spicy. The coating was classic corn dog and nice and crisp on outside and moist and soft in the center. The Boba milk tea was sweeter than he was used to, and the Boba was smaller in diameter and firmer than he'd been used to, as well. In any case, it was really delicious and satisfying.

One thing that stood out is the quality of the meat, seemed on the higher end, especially for a taco.
