These dogos are serious. We are talking Costco sized hot dogs wrapped in bacon, loaded up with everything. I got the Sonora, mayo, mustard, ketchup, white cheese, nacho cheese, beans, onion, tomato, avocado, jalapeño sauce. Every single bite was perfect. The bread was soft and seared just right on the outside. This is really the spot up in the cut. My only thing is I wish they had an all beef option. The beef and pork blend is good, don't get me wrong, but give me all beef and I might never leave. Just saying. My friend got the tacos and she was done for. Said they were great. They have a nice little salsa bar with a great selection where you serve yourself, which I appreciated. Service was fine but the food where it's at! My daughter absolutely LOVES this place and I wanted to spend time with my daughter so off to Tacos & Dogos we went! It was a Friday evening about 6:30pm. The restaurant is small but has a huge patio with misters, which is nice but still not nice enough when it's 108 degrees so we opted to sit inside. The restaurant was clean and has lots of TVs so probably a great place to catch a game. Everyone we encountered was super nice. They even ran over to wipe down our table because a gentleman had just gotten up. My daughters go to order is the carne asada tacos. I ordered one taco Al pastor and an Asadog. They have a full taco fixings bar so the tacos come out just meat and tortilla. You dress how you like from the bar. We loaded our tacos up. I used both the verde and regular red sauce. Both were delicious but my taco really didn't need a lot of extra flavor. Their pastor is really good! I'm kind of a pastor snob which is why I order it places. If your pastor isnt good it's a no for me but they passed the test! The hot dog came loaded like a carne asada burrito with meat, guac, beans and pico. It was really tasty! Stopped in with some friends for a late night taco run. This place is located in a strip mall but the sign is easily seen from the road. We arrived 30min before they closed and they were decently busy. They didn't try and rush anyone out, they genuinely seemed like they were happy to feed everyone. I loved it! Don Nico has been my go to spot for tacos for the past few years. They initially started out as a food truck, before becoming brick & mortar, and are currently working on opening a new location. All their meats are incredibly flavorful & tacos are loaded with a lot of it too. Here you can find a variety of Sonoran style hotdogs, various meats for tacos, quesadillas, lorenzas and more. I have yet to try their seafood, so I can't say much about that. Head to the salsa bar for a selection of a salsas & various condiments. The red molcajete style salsa is amazing!! Every time I've been here I've gotten a Sonoran hotdog and the Lorenza. The meat on the Lorenza is always so good, its tender and you can taste the grill on it. It doesn't have that chewy and mealy texture that a lot of places have. It just falls apart in your mouth. For instance, when I went with a few others, there was a meal special of 3 tacos w/ a side of beans & rice(and a can of soda) for 12.50 + tax(around 12.99 after tax). Birria kingdom found! This hole in the wall found in a non-descriptive strip mall turned out to be solid gold when it comes to birria!! I knew at first sight it was a good place when I arrived about 40 minutes before closing on a random Tuesday night (9:50'ish) in an attempt to satisfy my hankering for tacos and found the place bustling with patrons. Cashier was very friendly and helpful when I was trying to pare down what to order. She recommended the quesabirria in addition to the carne and birria tacos I had already ordered. Everything was delicious but the quesabirria will have me going back again and again! And, again and again! Generous portions and they don't skimp on the meat portions. While the salsa and condiments bar was understandably low shortly before closing there was just enough to add some additional flare to the smorgasbord ordered. The salsas paired well with everything! Literally love this place, the customer service the environment and diversity. Outside gives small but it packs a punch with a huge outside patio as well as plenty of seating inside. You're also able to add your own toppings to your tacos. I literally love it here. I come here after doing a little shopping in the area and can eat and chill. For the food 20/10 super authentic. The Birria taco Dorado was FANTASTIC! Crunchy y mojado con salsa. The carne Asada meat was smoky and in good sized chunks. The tortilla was not over cooked. The filidogo was perfect! The bun was grilled and buttery, covered in beans and sauces and the dog was wrapped in crunchy bacon. The food was so delicious and left me wanting mire. I'm a vegetarian so I wanted something without meat or hotdogs. They ended up custom-making my sandwich and switched out the hotdog with beans instead. Pineapple, mayo, mozzarella come standard.
