I'm 53 yrs old and have a 17 yr old daughter. I've always been an active person, walking the dogs, going to the gym, and a plumber.In 2024 I started feeling really fatigue had shortness of breath. So I started seeing specialist from pulmonologist hematologist, my primary who referred me to.Dr. Leo. After a year and a half of echo tests, stress echoes, ultrasound, X-rays, blood samples,, etc.. my fatigue and shortness of breath, progressed to the point where I felt I couldn't even take the trash out on my home, I'll bring groceries in from the store. . During the 2 years I was not the best patient. I was confused, frustrated, and scaredto leave my daughter. I wanted urgency Immediately. if I didn't get it then I made sure I made it hard on everybody at his office Until I did get it.(btw everyone in his office are great and I apologized to all of them) Dr. Leo handled it professionally as he always does, brutally honest lol and that's what I liked from day one. it was a scary two years for me but Dr Leo and his staff were always there, especially Gigi. Eventually Dr. Leo did an angiogram on me and we found out my heart rate was at 15%.. Dr. Leo immediately that day requested for a life vest rep go to my room at the hospital to fit me for a life vest defibrillator then I would have to wear 24 hours a day until an ICD would be implanted. This place is very busy. I came early for my appointment and there were like 15 people ahead of me already and more people coming to check in as well. I waited for like an hour to be seen. And it was the PA who saw me. Asked the usual questions then she mentioned about requesting for more tests to be done. To find out the cause of my chest pain. A MA came and did my EKG - it was good as well as my vitals. So the PA said she will order or request those tests and to expect a call from them in a week. * They are open 5 days a week and when I was booking this appointment - the lady I talked to said they are only open on Thursdays. I am reviewing Dr Polosajian´s work, not his staff, office or waning about wait time. He is an incredible cardiologist, electrophysiologist and human being. I was referred to Dr Leo Polosajian by another cardiologist who was not successful with an ablation to cure my arrythmias. Dr. Polosajian explained that I had three types of arrythmias, but the most dangerous was atrial fibrillation. He recommended I should have another ablation to reduce the risk of blood clots and avoid the horrible afib episodes ending up at hospitals and reducing my quality of life. On November 2024 I had the ablation performed by Dr Polosajian and it was a life changer for me. I have been arrythmia free since then. He has followed a very careful approach to heal my heart with the right medications; Blood thinner, anti-arrhythmic, ARB, and with time, has slowly reduced the dosages. August 2025, I had a Medtronic monitor implanted so Dr Polosajian can view what my heart is doing remotely and the equipment comes with a portable recorder I can use to send the information as well. If no afib ocurrs, his goal is to take me off medications and only take aspirin regimen low dose to minimize the side effects related to the blood thinner and anti-arrhythmic medicine. Dr Polosajian loves his job and challenges, he has gone out of his way to accommodate my schedule because I often work out of town. His work has provided me with a healthy life back. Don't deserve a 1 star but had no choice. This doctor is all about money. Don't waste your time and energy with this guy. He will run test of your heart and say your heart is ok but we have to go in the veins of your legs to see if you have any blockage. All he does is non stop scheduling for a angiogram. If you go to Tarzana hospital in the mornings his always there with his assistant waiting for patients that are scheduled for the legs. My aunt , uncle and dad had the worst experience with this doctor. Not only my family members but been hearing it left and right about his mistakes.PLEASE DO A FAVOR FOR YOURSELF AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR IF YOU DONT WANT SERIOUS ISSUES LATER ON. I have been a patient of Dr. Polosajian for 20 years and in that time he has done a marvelous job of installing a Watchman device and a Pacemaker in me to get my heart from afib to back in rhythm. After a health scare with my heart I scheduled a appointment with Dr Leo to make sure everything was okay. They admitted me and quickly did an ekg test to identify the source of my problem. Haven't seen Dr Leo since 2019 I'm supposed to see him for check ups every year. I dread the long wait. Today was an hour wait which is not bad for him. Lol. Dr did spend about 20 minutes with me. PPO now requires pre approval for any tests, which I will have to come back for. Dr Leo is a really good Dr. He cares for his patients. Staff is also nice. The past 3+ years of my life has been the most challenging that I have ever faced. My heart was dying. Other cardiologists had thrown up their hands saying they didn't know what to do. Finally, to my great good fortune, my primary care doctor referred me to Doctor Leo. Without his intervention, I simply would not be alive to have the honor of writing this review. His cutting edge technology, surgical prowess and 24/7 caring and support is responsible for saving my life - multiple times. He kept me alive long enough that I can now gratefully say that at 73 years old I have a new 20 year old heart and a future brimming with hope. My in-law was seeing this doctor and soon realized he only cares about $. Initial visits will make you feel like he the most personable doctor and best doctor but you'll soon realize he's just after $$. Pushes procedure over procedure right after procedure for insurance reimbursements. They over book appointments so you end up waiting over 3 hrs for your appointment in a jammed packed office with incompetent staff, who have been trained to always say the reason for the wait is "doctor had an urgent procedure to attend" as if it was a last minute thing... but the actual reason is that they schedule office visits at the same time he has scheduled surgical procedures knowing the doctor won't be in!!!! we have switched cardiologist. read more

Worst office ever! This office doesn't know how to treat patients, it's all about quantity and money, they don't care about patients at all. These are all elderly and sick patients with heart issues, the office makes these people sit there for hours until they take them in, this is horrible on every level. They give you an appointment time but take you in like 2 hours later, what kind of patient care is this??? This is ridiculous and unacceptable on every level. My mother was kept waiting for 3 hours in the waiting room, her blood pressure dropped drastically to a point of fainting. How is this right?? I've been seeing Dr. Polosajian 3 years now. I'm disappointed that he no longer has an office in Thousand Oaks, but I happily drive to Woodland Hills for my appointments to see him. I trust him absolutely. There is often a long wait to see him because he takes whatever time necessary with each patient. Sometimes a long wait, sometimes no,wait at all! Very unprofessional doctor. We called from pharmacy to get a new prescription for our mutual patient, and got treated so disrespectfully and got yelled at when trying to clarify the directions . I understand it is inconvenient to get a phone call from pharmacy at home on a holiday , but the pharmacy is also fully operational on holidays and as healthcare professionals it is our duty to help our patients whether it is a weekend or holiday . read more

Where do I begin. My family has a history of heart disease so I had went to a different doctor at first. With my previous doctor I felt dismissed and not listened too. I was basically told that if I wasn't feeling bad then things were probably fine. This made me uncomfortable so I tried to look for a new doctor. Through a friends suggestion I came to Dr. Polosajian and I'm so happy I did. He immediately made me feel comfortable and spoke to me like a friend. He had informed me that I had a very rare case with my heart that doesn't show any warning signs through fatigue, pain etc. that untreated will lead to a heart attack down the line. He picked up on this immediately and has been working closely to make sure we solve this issue. We completed the procedure and he truly saved my life. He's a life saver and I'm so grateful to have met him. His staff has picked up on his kindness and listening. I have a few names I wanted to shout out but don't have them all: Adrineh, Shakeh, Lana and of course Apraham. He's the treadmill technician. The entire hour I spent with him felt like a few minutes. He made me feel like a friend and helped the time pass. I read a couple of reviews and came across some negatives ones that I wanted to address. First of all, through the negativity it was always mentioned that Dr. Polosajian was an excellent doctor. The negative reviews are most about the wait times. Honestly, I don't mind waiting a little longer for service like this. He's an amazing Doctor that would never make his patients wait on purpose. Definitely one of the best doctors. I have been taking my uncle to him for the past year and he is just so knowledgeable and understanding, explains everything thoroughly! Even when in the office you can tell he cares about his patients! Recently my uncles pacemaker* transmitter machine was showing yellow light and I called the office line hoping they have a emergency nurse on staff. But dr Leo ended up picking up the phone himself! His calls are transferred to his personal line after hours! I don't know any doctors that do that! He's also a surgeon and an amazing one! I will be taking both my parents to him as well. This review is for the office staff. Spoke with them multiple times weeks and days before our appointment to confirm that their driver will pickup my MiL from her house because she doesn't have a car They knew where she lives and still promised to have the driver pick her up as a one time exception in the morning. On the day of her appointment the driver didn't show up claiming it's too far. My Mil was scheduled to have a surgery and this appointment was crucial to get a clearance from the doctor. Her surgery got cancelled because this office is incompetent in scheduling and keeping appointments and promises. Very unprofessional and careless people. read more

If you want to waste not just hours, but days and weeks of your life this is the Dr for you. My mother-in-law has been seeing him for 2 years. Every time we go to his office it is a 2-4 hour wait after the appointment time to finally get in! Her latest appointment was 4 hours late - only to give her a quick chat and to RESCHEDULE her to come in ANOTHER TIME for the Echo Cardiogram they do right there in the SAME OFFICE, because they were overbooked.... So TWO WEEKS later she gets in for that test. They said we should have results in 48-72 hours... THREE WEEKS later today we got a call after NUMEROUS calls to them to just to say the doctor will see her in THREE WEEKS to go over the results. Do the math that is SIX WEEKS not 3 days!!!! She has been waiting to get a pace maker - his delays could be life threatening. So now on September 29th she will get to see the doctor and then what more delays? I met Dr. Polosajian after visiting two other cardiologists who were not able to diagnose my problem in order to cure my arrhythmia. I had an arrhythmia which occurred almost on a weekly basis which led to episodes of dizziness and almost fainting. Dr. Polosajian did not give up, I received two different monitors in order to diagnose the problem and then I had an ablation performed and now I'm able to run and exercise as when I was in my 20s. His office is very professional, the front desk personnel as well as the scheduler were always prompt in order to follow through. After the procedure, he spoke to my husband and to my mother in detail about what had taken place, and they were very satisfied as well. I am currently not taking any medications for my cardiac arrhythmia, and I feel great. I would highly recommend Dr. Polosajian for any form of arrhythmia problems or pacemaker or defibrillator problems. I had done my reviews about him, and I looked him up, and he is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology. I was recommended to him from my father-in-law who now has an implantable cardiac defibrillator which has also saved his life once already. He too had visited another doctor prior to seeing Dr. Polosajian and thank God for having a defibrillator because it already saved his life once already. read more

The office scheduled heart surgery for me and three days before the procedure demanded money or the surgery would be cancelled. There was no choice but to cancel. Leo Polosajian saved my husband's life! Okay, that might sound a little dramatic, but he did find and treat the clot in my husband's heart before it caused a stroke and then he performed the surgery that stopped the atrial fibrillation that caused the clot. Being unpretentious and very down to earth, after we mangled his last name the first time we met him, he said, "Please, just call me Leo." Ever after he was "Dr. Leo" to us. Dr. Leo's staff is really really busy, but they are excellent at their jobs, very efficient, and are quite warm and personable...they clearly respect him and are clearly respected in return. It seems that sometimes (probably in the hands of lesser mortals) radio frequency catheter ablation has to be done more than once. Well that bit of news made my husband blanch and then look like he was going to bolt out of the office. Dr. Leo reassured us that all the electrical misfiring would be taken care of during the first (and only) surgery--and he kept his word. The surgery was on December 23rd (what were we thinking?) and I worried that the doctor might be hard to reach because of the holiday.To my surprise, Dr. Leo gave us his personal cell number, which turned out to be unnecessary anyway since he called my husband on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to check on him. read more

I don't recommend anyone to come to this doctor as a patient because my sick mother had to wait for more than two hours to see the doctor. Her condition was worse and it was worsening by the minute. After two hours of waiting for the doctor, the nurse came in and said that the doctor had to leave for an emergency surgery. My mother had to wait two hours, untill someone told her the doctor had to leave. Waiting that long to hear the doctor is going to be late, was unacceptable and unprofessional. Dr. Polosajian is an amazing cardiologist. I am 24 years old and was diagnosed last year with a condition called cardiomyopathy. I began to faint at random over the course of July and was given false information from many doctors. When I went to see Dr. Polosajian for what I thought was just a check up to rule out any cardiac issues, we realized that I was having a very high number of PVCs. He immediately knew his plan of action and made me feel very comfortable. I went to the hospital a few days later and had a Biventricular ICD implanted. Dr. Polosajian helped me feel at ease during a very stressful and terrifying process and even now, a year later, he calls to check in on me personally. He was always very straight forward with me about what needed to be done and allowed me to be an active participant in my care.
